וּבְחַ֥ג the Feast ū·ḇə·ḥaḡ הַשָּׁבֻע֖וֹת of Weeks , haš·šā·ḇu·‘ō·wṯ וּבְחַ֥ג and the Feast ū·ḇə·ḥaḡ הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃ of Tabernacles . has·suk·kō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 8:14 כְּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט In keeping with the ordinances kə·miš·paṭ אָ֠בִיו of his father ’ā·ḇîw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דָּֽוִיד־ David , dā·wîḏ- וַיַּעֲמֵ֣ד [Solomon] appointed way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ מַחְלְק֨וֹת the divisions maḥ·lə·qō·wṯ הַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים of the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm עַל־ over ‘al- עֲבֹדָתָ֗ם their service , ‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯām וְהַלְוִיִּ֣ם and the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim עַל־ for ‘al- מִ֠שְׁמְרוֹתָם their duties miš·mə·rō·w·ṯām לְהַלֵּ֨ל to offer praise lə·hal·lêl וּלְשָׁרֵ֜ת and to minister ū·lə·šā·rêṯ נֶ֤גֶד before ne·ḡeḏ הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm י֣וֹם according to the daily yō·wm בְּיוֹמ֔וֹ . . . bə·yō·w·mōw לִדְבַר־ requirement . liḏ·ḇar- וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֥ים [He also appointed] gatekeepers wə·haš·šō·w·‘ă·rîm בְּמַחְלְקוֹתָ֖ם by their divisions bə·maḥ·lə·qō·w·ṯām לְשַׁ֣עַר at each gate lə·ša·‘ar וָשָׁ֑עַר . . . , wā·šā·‘ar כִּ֣י for kî כֵ֔ן this ḵên מִצְוַ֖ת had been the command miṣ·waṯ דָּוִ֥יד of David , dā·wîḏ אִישׁ־ the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm 2 Chronicles 8:15 וְלֹ֣א They did not wə·lō סָרוּ֩ turn aside sā·rū הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ from the king’s ham·me·leḵ מִצְוַ֨ת command miṣ·waṯ עַל־ regarding ‘al- הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֛ם or the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim לְכָל־ or any lə·ḵāl דָּבָ֖ר matter dā·ḇār וְלָאֹצָרֽוֹת׃ concerning the treasuries . wə·lā·’ō·ṣā·rō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 8:16 כָּל־ Thus all kāl- מְלֶ֣אכֶת the work mə·le·ḵeṯ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה of Solomon šə·lō·mōh וַתִּכֹּן֙ was carried out , wat·tik·kōn עַד־ from ‘aḏ- הַיּ֛וֹם the day hay·yō·wm מוּסַ֥ד the foundation was laid mū·saḏ בֵּית־ for the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְעַד־ until wə·‘aḏ- כְּלֹת֑וֹ it was finished . kə·lō·ṯōw בֵּ֥ית So the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ס of YHWH Yah·weh שָׁלֵ֖ם was completed . šā·lêm 2 Chronicles 8:17 אָז֩ Then ’āz שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh הָלַ֨ךְ went hā·laḵ לְעֶצְיֽוֹן־ vvv lə·‘eṣ·yō·wn- גֶּ֧בֶר to Ezion-geber ge·ḇer וְאֶל־ and to wə·’el- אֵיל֛וֹת Eloth ’ê·lō·wṯ עַל־ on ‘al- שְׂפַ֥ת the coast śə·p̄aṯ הַיָּ֖ם . . . hay·yām בְּאֶ֥רֶץ . . . bə·’e·reṣ אֱדֽוֹם׃ of Edom . ’ĕ·ḏō·wm 2 Chronicles 8:18 חוּרָ֨ם So Hiram ḥū·rām וַיִּֽשְׁלַֽח־ sent way·yiš·laḥ- לוֹ֩ him lōw אוֹנִיּוֹת ships ʾō·nī·yōṯ בְּיַד־ captained by bə·yaḏ- עֲבָדָ֜יו his servants , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַעֲבָדִים֮ along with crews wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm י֣וֹדְעֵי of experienced sailors yō·wḏ·‘ê יָם֒ . . . . yām וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ They went way·yā·ḇō·’ū עִם־ with ‘im- שְׁלֹמֹה֙ Solomon’s šə·lō·mōh עַבְדֵ֤י servants ‘aḇ·ḏê אוֹפִ֔ירָה to Ophir ’ō·w·p̄î·rāh וַיִּקְח֣וּ and acquired way·yiq·ḥū מִשָּׁ֔ם from there miš·šām
