מִתְפַּלֵּ֥ל is praying miṯ·pal·lêl לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃ before You . lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā 2 Chronicles 6:20 לִהְיוֹת֩ May Your eyes lih·yō·wṯ עֵינֶ֨יךָ be ‘ê·ne·ḵā פְתֻח֜וֹת open p̄ə·ṯu·ḥō·wṯ אֶל־ toward ’el- הַזֶּה֙ this haz·zeh הַבַּ֤יִת temple hab·ba·yiṯ יוֹמָ֣ם day yō·w·mām וָלַ֔יְלָה and night , wā·lay·lāh אֶל־ toward ’el- הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם the place ham·mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֣ר where ’ă·šer אָמַ֔רְתָּ You said ’ā·mar·tā לָשׂ֥וּם You would put lā·śūm שִׁמְךָ֖ Your Name šim·ḵā שָׁ֑ם - , šām לִשְׁמ֙וֹעַ֙ so that You may hear liš·mō·w·a‘ אֶל־ ’el- הַתְּפִלָּ֔ה the prayer hat·tə·p̄il·lāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer עַבְדְּךָ֔ Your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā יִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל prays yiṯ·pal·lêl אֶל־ toward ’el- הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַמָּק֖וֹם place . ham·mā·qō·wm 2 Chronicles 6:21 וְשָׁ֨מַעְתָּ֜ Hear wə·šā·ma‘·tā אֶל־ ’el- תַּחֲנוּנֵ֤י the plea ta·ḥă·nū·nê עַבְדְּךָ֙ of Your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā וְעַמְּךָ֣ and of Your people wə·‘am·mə·ḵā יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl אֲשֶׁ֥ר when ’ă·šer יִֽתְפַּֽלְל֖וּ they pray yiṯ·pal·lū אֶל־ toward ’el- הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הַמָּק֣וֹם place . ham·mā·qō·wm וְ֠אַתָּה May You wə·’at·tāh תִּשְׁמַ֞ע hear tiš·ma‘ מִן־ from min- הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם heaven , haš·šā·ma·yim שִׁבְתְּךָ֙ Your dwelling šiḇ·tə·ḵā מִמְּק֤וֹם place . mim·mə·qō·wm וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֖ May You hear wə·šā·ma‘·tā וְסָלָֽחְתָּ׃ and forgive . wə·sā·lā·ḥə·tā 2 Chronicles 6:22 אִם־ When ’im- אִישׁ֙ a man ’îš יֶחֱטָ֥א sins ye·ḥĕ·ṭā לְרֵעֵ֔הוּ against his neighbor lə·rê·‘ê·hū וְנָֽשָׁא־ and is required wə·nā·šā- ב֥וֹ ḇōw אָלָ֖ה to take an oath ’ā·lāh אָלָ֛ה . . . , ’ā·lāh וּבָ֗א and he comes ū·ḇā לְהַֽאֲלֹת֑וֹ to take an oath lə·ha·’ă·lō·ṯōw לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê מִֽזְבַּחֲךָ֖ Your altar miz·ba·ḥă·ḵā הַזֶּֽה׃ in this haz·zeh בַּבַּ֥יִת temple , bab·ba·yiṯ 2 Chronicles 6:23 וְאַתָּ֣ה׀ then may You wə·’at·tāh תִּשְׁמַ֣ע hear tiš·ma‘ מִן־ from min- הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם heaven haš·šā·ma·yim וְעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ and act . wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā וְשָׁפַטְתָּ֣ May You judge wə·šā·p̄aṭ·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֲבָדֶ֔יךָ Your servants , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā לְהָשִׁ֣יב condemning lə·hā·šîḇ לְרָשָׁ֔ע the wicked man lə·rā·šā‘ לָתֵ֥ת by bringing lā·ṯêṯ בְּרֹאשׁ֑וֹ down on his own head bə·rō·šōw דַּרְכּ֖וֹ what he has done , dar·kōw וּלְהַצְדִּ֣יק and justifying ū·lə·haṣ·dîq צַדִּ֔יק the righteous man ṣad·dîq לָ֥תֶת by rewarding lā·ṯeṯ ל֖וֹ him lōw כְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃ס according to his righteousness . kə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯōw 2 Chronicles 6:24 וְֽאִם־ When wə·’im- עַמְּךָ֧ Your people ‘am·mə·ḵā יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִנָּגֵ֞ף are defeated yin·nā·ḡêp̄ לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê אוֹיֵ֖ב an enemy ’ō·w·yêḇ כִּ֣י because kî יֶֽחֶטְאוּ־ they have sinned against You , ye·ḥeṭ·’ū-
