עַל־ ‘al- וַיְכַסּ֧וּ and overshadowed way·ḵas·sū מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ . . . mil·mā·‘ə·lāh הָאָר֥וֹן the ark hā·’ā·rō·wn וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- בַּדָּ֖יו its poles . bad·dāw 2 Chronicles 5:9 הַבַּדִּים֒ The poles hab·bad·dîm מִן־ of min- הָאָרוֹן֙ the ark hā·’ā·rō·wn וַֽיַּאֲרִיכוּ֮ extended far enough way·ya·’ă·rî·ḵū הַבַּדִּ֤ים that their hab·bad·dîm רָאשֵׁ֨י ends rā·šê וַיֵּרָאוּ֩ were visible way·yê·rā·’ū עַל־ from ‘al- פְּנֵ֣י in front pə·nê הַדְּבִ֔יר of the inner sanctuary , had·də·ḇîr וְלֹ֥א but not wə·lō יֵרָא֖וּ - yê·rā·’ū הַח֑וּצָה from outside [the Holy Place] ; ha·ḥū·ṣāh וַֽיְהִי־ and they are way·hî- שָׁ֔ם there šām עַ֖ד to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day . hay·yō·wm 2 Chronicles 5:10 אֵ֚ין [There was] nothing ’ên בָּֽאָר֔וֹן in the ark bā·’ā·rō·wn רַ֚ק except raq שְׁנֵ֣י the two šə·nê הַלֻּח֔וֹת tablets hal·lu·ḥō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh נָתַ֥ן had placed in it nā·ṯan בְּחֹרֵ֑ב at Horeb , bə·ḥō·rêḇ אֲשֶׁ֨ר where ’ă·šer יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh כָּרַ֤ת had made a covenant kā·raṯ עִם־ with ‘im- בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl בְּצֵאתָ֖ם after they had come out bə·ṣê·ṯām מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃פ of Egypt . mim·miṣ·rā·yim 2 Chronicles 5:11 כִּ֠י Now kî כָּל־ all kāl- הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm הַֽנִּמְצְאִים֙ who were present han·nim·ṣə·’îm הִתְקַדָּ֔שׁוּ had consecrated themselves hiṯ·qad·dā·šū אֵ֖ין regardless of ’ên לִשְׁמ֥וֹר . . . liš·mō·wr לְמַחְלְקֽוֹת׃ their divisions . lə·maḥ·lə·qō·wṯ וַיְהִ֕י And when way·hî הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm בְּצֵ֥את came out bə·ṣêṯ מִן־ of min- הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ the Holy Place , haq·qō·ḏeš 2 Chronicles 5:12 לְכֻלָּ֡ם all lə·ḵul·lām וְהַלְוִיִּ֣ם the Levitical wə·hal·wî·yim הַמְשֹׁרֲרִ֣ים singers — ham·šō·ră·rîm לְאָסָ֡ף Asaph , lə·’ā·sāp̄ לְהֵימָ֣ן Heman , lə·hê·mān לִֽ֠ידֻתוּן Jeduthun , lî·ḏu·ṯūn וְלִבְנֵיהֶ֨ם and their sons wə·liḇ·nê·hem וְלַאֲחֵיהֶ֜ם and relatives — wə·la·’ă·ḥê·hem עֹמְדִ֖ים stood ‘ō·mə·ḏîm מִזְרָ֣ח on the east side miz·rāḥ לַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ of the altar , lam·miz·bê·aḥ מְלֻבָּשִׁ֣ים dressed mə·lub·bā·šîm בּ֗וּץ in fine linen būṣ בִּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙ and playing cymbals , bim·ṣil·ta·yim וּבִנְבָלִ֣ים harps , ū·ḇin·ḇā·lîm וְכִנֹּר֔וֹת and lyres , wə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ וְעִמָּהֶ֤ם accompanied by wə·‘im·mā·hem לְמֵאָ֣ה 120 lə·mê·’āh וְעֶשְׂרִ֔ים . . . wə·‘eś·rîm כֹּֽהֲנִים֙ priests kō·hă·nîm מַחְצְרִרִים sounding maḥ·ṣə·ri·rīm בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֽוֹת׃ trumpets . ba·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 5:13 וַיְהִ֣י - way·hî לַמַּחֲצֹצְרִים The trumpeters lam·ma·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rīm וְלַמְשֹֽׁרֲרִ֜ים and singers wə·lam·šō·ră·rîm לְהַשְׁמִ֣יעַ . . . lə·haš·mî·a‘ כְ֠אֶחָד joined together ḵə·’e·ḥāḏ לְהַלֵּ֣ל to praise lə·hal·lêl וּלְהֹדוֹת֮ and thank ū·lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ לַיהוָה֒ YHWH Yah·weh אֶחָ֗ד with one ’e·ḥāḏ
