הָעֹלָֽה׃פ of burnt offering . hā·‘ō·lāh 1 Chronicles 21:27 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר spoke way·yō·mer לַמַּלְאָ֔ךְ to the angel , lam·mal·’āḵ חַרְבּ֖וֹ who put his sword ḥar·bōw וַיָּ֥שֶׁב back way·yā·šeḇ אֶל־ into ’el- נְדָנָֽהּ׃ its sheath . nə·ḏā·nāh 1 Chronicles 21:28 הַהִ֔יא At that ha·hî בָּעֵ֣ת time , bā·‘êṯ דָּוִיד֙ when David dā·wîḏ בִּרְא֤וֹת saw bir·’ō·wṯ כִּי־ that kî- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh עָנָ֣הוּ had answered him ‘ā·nā·hū בְּגֹ֖רֶן at the threshing floor bə·ḡō·ren אָרְנָ֣ן of Ornan ’ā·rə·nān הַיְבוּסִ֑י the Jebusite , hay·ḇū·sî וַיִּזְבַּ֖ח he offered sacrifices way·yiz·baḥ שָֽׁם׃ there . šām 1 Chronicles 21:29 וּמִשְׁכַּ֣ן For the tabernacle ū·miš·kan יְ֠הוָה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- מֹשֶׁ֧ה Moses mō·šeh עָשָׂ֨ה had made ‘ā·śāh בַמִּדְבָּ֛ר in the wilderness ḇam·miḏ·bār וּמִזְבַּ֥ח and the altar ū·miz·baḥ הָעוֹלָ֖ה of burnt offering hā·‘ō·w·lāh בָּעֵ֣ת were presently bā·‘êṯ הַהִ֑יא . . . ha·hî בַּבָּמָ֖ה at the high place bab·bā·māh בְּגִבְעֽוֹן׃ in Gibeon , bə·ḡiḇ·‘ō·wn 1 Chronicles 21:30 דָּוִ֛יד but David dā·wîḏ יָכֹ֥ל could yā·ḵōl וְלֹא־ not wə·lō- לָלֶ֥כֶת go lā·le·ḵeṯ לְפָנָ֖יו before it lə·p̄ā·nāw לִדְרֹ֣שׁ to inquire liḏ·rōš אֱלֹהִ֑ים of God , ’ĕ·lō·hîm כִּ֣י because kî נִבְעַ֔ת he was afraid niḇ·‘aṯ מִפְּנֵ֕י of mip·pə·nê חֶ֖רֶב the sword ḥe·reḇ מַלְאַ֥ךְ of the angel mal·’aḵ יְהוָֽה׃ס of YHWH . Yah·weh 1 Chronicles 22:1 דָּוִ֔יד Then David dā·wîḏ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said , way·yō·mer זֶ֣ה “ Here zeh ה֔וּא shall be hū בֵּ֖ית the house bêṯ יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וְזֶה־ as well as wə·zeh- מִּזְבֵּ֥חַ the altar miz·bê·aḥ לְעֹלָ֖ה of burnt offering lə·‘ō·lāh לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס for Israel . ” lə·yiś·rā·’êl 1 Chronicles 22:2 דָּוִ֔יד So David dā·wîḏ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר gave orders way·yō·mer לִכְנוֹס֙ to gather liḵ·nō·ws אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַגֵּרִ֔ים the foreigners hag·gê·rîm אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וַיַּעֲמֵ֣ד from whom he appointed way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ חֹֽצְבִ֗ים stonecutters ḥō·ṣə·ḇîm לַחְצוֹב֙ to prepare laḥ·ṣō·wḇ גָזִ֔ית finished ḡā·zîṯ אַבְנֵ֣י stones ’aḇ·nê לִבְנ֖וֹת for building liḇ·nō·wṯ בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm 1 Chronicles 22:3 דָּוִ֑יד David dā·wîḏ הֵכִ֣ין provided hê·ḵîn לָ֠רֹב a large quantity of lā·rōḇ וּבַרְזֶ֣ל׀ iron ū·ḇar·zel לַֽמִּסְמְרִ֞ים to make the nails lam·mis·mə·rîm לְדַלְת֧וֹת for the doors lə·ḏal·ṯō·wṯ הַשְּׁעָרִ֛ים of the gateways haš·šə·‘ā·rîm
