דָּ֣ם blood , dām יְהוָ֖ה and YHWH Yah·weh אָבָ֥ה was unwilling ’ā·ḇāh וְלֹֽא־ - wə·lō- לִסְלֹֽחַ׃ to forgive . lis·lō·aḥ 2 Kings 24:5 וְיֶ֛תֶר As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֥י of the acts diḇ·rê יְהוֹיָקִ֖ים of Jehoiakim , yə·hō·w·yā·qîm וְכָל־ along with all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֣ר his accomplishments ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֑ה . . . , ‘ā·śāh הֵ֣ם are they hêm הֲלֹא־ not hă·lō- כְּתוּבִ֗ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah ? yə·hū·ḏāh 2 Kings 24:6 יְהוֹיָקִ֖ים And Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב rested way·yiš·kaḇ עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֑יו his fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw בְּנ֖וֹ and his son bə·nōw יְהוֹיָכִ֥ין Jehoiachin yə·hō·w·yā·ḵîn וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Kings 24:7 מֶ֣לֶךְ Now the king me·leḵ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וְלֹֽא־ did not wə·lō- לָצֵ֖את march out lā·ṣêṯ מֵֽאַרְצ֑וֹ of his land mê·’ar·ṣōw הֹסִ֥יף again hō·sîp̄ עוֹד֙ . . . , ‘ō·wḏ כִּֽי־ because kî- מֶ֣לֶךְ the king me·leḵ בָּבֶ֗ל of Babylon bā·ḇel לָקַ֞ח had taken lā·qaḥ כֹּ֛ל all kōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer הָיְתָ֖ה his territory hā·yə·ṯāh לְמֶ֥לֶךְ . . . lə·me·leḵ מִצְרָֽיִם׃פ . . . , miṣ·rā·yim מִנַּ֤חַל from the Brook min·na·ḥal מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim עַד־ to ‘aḏ- פְּרָ֔ת the Euphrates pə·rāṯ נְהַר־ River . nə·har- 2 Kings 24:8 יְהוֹיָכִ֣ין Jehoiachin yə·hō·w·yā·ḵîn שְׁמֹנֶ֨ה was eighteen šə·mō·neh עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה . . . ‘eś·rêh בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָה֙ . . . šā·nāh בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה three ū·šə·lō·šāh חֳדָשִׁ֔ים months . ḥo·ḏā·šîm אִמּ֔וֹ His mother’s ’im·mōw וְשֵׁ֣ם name wə·šêm נְחֻשְׁתָּ֥א was Nehushta nə·ḥuš·tā בַת־ daughter ḇaṯ- אֶלְנָתָ֖ן of Elnathan ; ’el·nā·ṯān מִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ she was from Jerusalem . mî·rū·šā·lim 2 Kings 24:9 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כְּכֹ֥ל just as kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אָבִֽיו׃ his father ’ā·ḇîw עָשָׂ֖ה had done . ‘ā·śāh 2 Kings 24:10 הַהִ֔יא At that ha·hî בָּעֵ֣ת time bā·‘êṯ עַבְדֵ֛י the servants ‘aḇ·ḏê נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר of Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇu·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon bā·ḇel עָלָה marched up ʿå̄·lå̄h יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם to Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim הָעִ֖יר and the city hā·‘îr
