וְהִ֛יא She wə·hî יֹשֶׁ֥בֶת lived yō·še·ḇeṯ בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם in Jerusalem , bî·rū·šā·lim בַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑ה in the Second District . bam·miš·neh 2 Kings 22:15 וַתֹּ֣אמֶר And [Huldah] said wat·tō·mer אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem כֹּֽה־ “ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֥ר says : ’ā·mar אִמְר֣וּ ‘ Tell ’im·rū לָאִ֔ישׁ the man lā·’îš אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- שָׁלַ֥ח sent šā·laḥ אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem אֵלָֽי׃ - ’ê·lāy 2 Kings 22:16 כֹּ֚ה that this is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הִנְנִ֨י . . . hin·nî אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar מֵבִ֥יא I am about to bring mê·ḇî רָעָ֛ה calamity rā·‘āh אֶל־ on ’el- הַזֶּ֖ה this haz·zeh הַמָּק֥וֹם place ham·mā·qō·wm וְעַל־ and on wə·‘al- יֹֽשְׁבָ֑יו its people , yō·šə·ḇāw אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ according to all kāl- דִּבְרֵ֣י the words diḇ·rê הַסֵּ֔פֶר of the book has·sê·p̄er אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer מֶ֥לֶךְ the king me·leḵ יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh קָרָ֖א has read , qā·rā 2 Kings 22:17 תַּ֣חַת׀ because ta·ḥaṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עֲזָב֗וּנִי they have forsaken Me ‘ă·zā·ḇū·nî וַֽיְקַטְּרוּ֙ and burned incense way·qaṭ·ṭə·rū אֲחֵרִ֔ים to other ’ă·ḥê·rîm לֵאלֹהִ֣ים gods , lê·lō·hîm לְמַ֙עַן֙ that lə·ma·‘an הַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי they might provoke Me to anger haḵ·‘î·sê·nî בְּכֹ֖ל with all bə·ḵōl מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה the works ma·‘ă·śêh יְדֵיהֶ֑ם of their hands . yə·ḏê·hem חֲמָתִ֛י My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî וְנִצְּתָ֧ה will be kindled wə·niṣ·ṣə·ṯāh הַזֶּ֖ה against this haz·zeh בַּמָּק֥וֹם place bam·mā·qō·wm וְלֹ֥א and will not wə·lō תִכְבֶּֽה׃ be quenched . ’ ṯiḵ·beh 2 Kings 22:18 וְאֶל־ But as for wə·’el- מֶ֣לֶךְ the king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh הַשֹּׁלֵ֤חַ who sent haš·šō·lê·aḥ אֶתְכֶם֙ you ’eṯ·ḵem לִדְרֹ֣שׁ to inquire liḏ·rōš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh תֹאמְר֖וּ tell him ṯō·mə·rū אֵלָ֑יו . . . ’ê·lāw כֹּ֥ה . . . kōh כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar הַדְּבָרִ֖ים ‘ As for the words had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer שָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃ you heard , šā·mā·‘ə·tā 2 Kings 22:19 יַ֠עַן because ya·‘an לְבָ֨בְךָ֜ your heart lə·ḇā·ḇə·ḵā רַךְ־ was tender raḵ- וַתִּכָּנַ֣ע׀ and you humbled yourself wat·tik·kā·na‘ מִפְּנֵ֣י before mip·pə·nê יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh בְּֽשָׁמְעֲךָ֡ when you heard bə·šā·mə·‘ă·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֣ר what ’ă·šer דִּבַּרְתִּי֩ I spoke dib·bar·tî עַל־ against ‘al- הַזֶּ֜ה this haz·zeh הַמָּק֨וֹם place ham·mā·qō·wm וְעַל־ and against wə·‘al-
