הַמְּלָאכָה֙ . . . ham·mə·lā·ḵāh אֲשֶׁר֙ - ’ă·šer לְחַזֵּ֖ק repairing lə·ḥaz·zêq בֶּ֥דֶק the damages be·ḏeq הַבָּֽיִת׃ . . . hab·bā·yiṯ בְּבֵ֣ית to the house bə·ḇêṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH — Yah·weh 2 Kings 22:6 לֶחָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים to the carpenters , le·ḥā·rā·šîm וְלַבֹּנִ֖ים builders , wə·lab·bō·nîm וְלַגֹּֽדְרִ֑ים and masons — wə·lag·gō·ḏə·rîm וְלִקְנ֤וֹת to buy wə·liq·nō·wṯ עֵצִים֙ timber ‘ê·ṣîm מַחְצֵ֔ב and dressed maḥ·ṣêḇ וְאַבְנֵ֣י stone wə·’aḇ·nê לְחַזֵּ֖ק to repair lə·ḥaz·zêq אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבָּֽיִת׃ the temple . hab·bā·yiṯ 2 Kings 22:7 אַ֚ךְ But ’aḵ לֹא־ they need not lō- יֵחָשֵׁ֣ב account yê·ḥā·šêḇ אִתָּ֔ם vvv ’it·tām הַכֶּ֖סֶף for the money hak·ke·sep̄ הַנִּתָּ֣ן put han·nit·tān עַל־ into ‘al- יָדָ֑ם their hands , yā·ḏām כִּ֥י since kî הֵ֥ם they hêm עֹשִֽׂים׃ work ‘ō·śîm בֶאֱמוּנָ֖ה with integrity . ” ḇe·’ĕ·mū·nāh 2 Kings 22:8 חִלְקִיָּ֜הוּ Then Hilkiah ḥil·qî·yā·hū הַגָּדוֹל֙ the high hag·gā·ḏō·wl עַל־ . . . ‘al- הַכֹּהֵ֤ן priest hak·kō·hên וַ֠יֹּאמֶר said to way·yō·mer שָׁפָ֣ן Shaphan šā·p̄ān הַסֹּפֵ֔ר the scribe , has·sō·p̄êr מָצָ֖אתִי “ I have found mā·ṣā·ṯî סֵ֧פֶר the Book sê·p̄er הַתּוֹרָ֛ה of the Law hat·tō·w·rāh בְּבֵ֣ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH ! ” Yah·weh חִלְקִיָּ֧ה And he ḥil·qî·yāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּתֵּ֨ן gave way·yit·tên הַסֵּ֛פֶר [it] has·sê·p̄er אֶל־ to ’el- שָׁפָ֖ן Shaphan , šā·p̄ān וַיִּקְרָאֵֽהוּ׃ who read it . way·yiq·rā·’ê·hū 2 Kings 22:9 שָׁפָ֤ן And Shaphan šā·p̄ān הַסֹּפֵר֙ the scribe has·sō·p̄êr וַיָּבֹ֞א went way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ וַיָּ֥שֶׁב and reported way·yā·šeḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ - ham·me·leḵ דָּבָ֑ר . . . dā·ḇār וַיֹּ֗אמֶר . . . , way·yō·mer עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ “ Your servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הִתִּ֤יכוּ have paid out hit·tî·ḵū הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ the money hak·ke·sep̄ הַנִּמְצָ֣א that was found han·nim·ṣā בַבַּ֔יִת in the temple ḇab·ba·yiṯ וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֗הוּ and have put way·yit·tə·nu·hū עַל־ it into ‘al- יַד֙ the hands yaḏ עֹשֵׂ֣י of the workers ‘ō·śê הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה . . . ham·mə·lā·ḵāh הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים and supervisors ham·mup̄·qā·ḏîm בֵּ֥ית of the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . ” Yah·weh 2 Kings 22:10 שָׁפָ֤ן Moreover , Shaphan šā·p̄ān הַסֹּפֵר֙ the scribe has·sō·p̄êr וַיַּגֵּ֞ד told way·yag·gêḏ לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ the king , lam·me·leḵ לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr חִלְקִיָּ֖ה “ Hilkiah ḥil·qî·yāh הַכֹּהֵ֑ן the priest hak·kō·hên נָ֣תַן has given nā·ṯan לִ֔י me lî סֵ֚פֶר a book . ” sê·p̄er שָׁפָ֖ן And Shaphan šā·p̄ān וַיִּקְרָאֵ֥הוּ read it way·yiq·rā·’ê·hū לִפְנֵ֥י in the presence lip̄·nê
