מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וּשְׁתַּ֣יִם two ū·šə·ta·yim שָׁנִ֔ים years . šā·nîm אִמּ֔וֹ His mother’s ’im·mōw וְשֵׁ֣ם name wə·šêm מְשֻׁלֶּ֥מֶת was Meshullemeth mə·šul·le·meṯ בַּת־ daughter baṯ- חָר֖וּץ of Haruz ; ḥā·rūṣ מִן־ she was from min- יָטְבָֽה׃ Jotbah . yā·ṭə·ḇāh 2 Kings 21:20 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer אָבִֽיו׃ his father ’ā·ḇîw מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh עָשָׂ֖ה had done . ‘ā·śāh 2 Kings 21:21 וַיֵּ֕לֶךְ He walked way·yê·leḵ בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ the ways had·de·reḵ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אָבִ֑יו of his father ’ā·ḇîw הָלַ֣ךְ - , hā·laḵ וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֗ד and he served way·ya·‘ă·ḇōḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ and worshiped way·yiš·ta·ḥū לָהֶֽם׃ lā·hem הַגִּלֻּלִים֙ the idols hag·gil·lu·lîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אָבִ֔יו his father ’ā·ḇîw עָבַ֣ד had served . ‘ā·ḇaḏ 2 Kings 21:22 וַיַּעֲזֹ֕ב He abandoned way·ya·‘ă·zōḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבֹתָ֑יו of his fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וְלֹ֥א and did not wə·lō הָלַ֖ךְ walk hā·laḵ בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ in the way bə·ḏe·reḵ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh 2 Kings 21:23 עַבְדֵֽי־ Then the servants ‘aḇ·ḏê- אָמ֖וֹן of Amon ’ā·mō·wn וַיִּקְשְׁר֥וּ conspired way·yiq·šə·rū עָלָ֑יו against him ‘ā·lāw וַיָּמִ֥יתוּ and killed way·yā·mî·ṯū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ בְּבֵיתֽוֹ׃ in his palace . bə·ḇê·ṯōw 2 Kings 21:24 עַם־ But the people ‘am- הָאָ֔רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֵ֥ת ’êṯ וַיַּךְ֙ killed way·yaḵ כָּל־ all [those] kāl- הַקֹּשְׁרִ֖ים who had conspired haq·qō·šə·rîm עַל־ against ‘al- הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ אָמ֑וֹן Amon , ’ā·mō·wn בְנ֖וֹ and they made his son ḇə·nōw יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיַּמְלִ֧יכוּ king way·yam·lî·ḵū עַם־ . . . ‘am- הָאָ֛רֶץ . . . hā·’ā·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Kings 21:25 וְיֶ֛תֶר As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֥י of the acts diḇ·rê אָמ֖וֹן of Amon , ’ā·mō·wn אֲשֶׁ֣ר along with his accomplishments ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֑ה . . . , ‘ā·śāh הֵ֣ם are they hêm הֲלֹא־ not hă·lō- כְּתוּבִ֗ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah ? yə·hū·ḏāh
