שָׁמֵ֑עוּ listen šā·mê·‘ū מְנַשֶּׁה֙ and Manasseh mə·naš·šeh וַיַּתְעֵ֤ם led them astray , way·yaṯ·‘êm לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת so that they did la·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָרָ֔ע greater evil hā·rā‘ מִן־ than min- הַ֨גּוֹיִ֔ם the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הִשְׁמִ֣יד had destroyed hiš·mîḏ מִפְּנֵ֖י before mip·pə·nê בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . . yiś·rā·’êl 2 Kings 21:10 יְהוָ֛ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר spoke way·ḏab·bêr בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- עֲבָדָ֥יו His servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים the prophets , han·nə·ḇî·’îm לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr 2 Kings 21:11 יַעַן֩ “ Since ya·‘an אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer מְנַשֶּׁ֤ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh עָשָׂ֜ה has committed ‘ā·śāh מִכֹּ֛ל all mik·kōl הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַתֹּעֵב֣וֹת abominations , hat·tō·‘ê·ḇō·wṯ הֵרַ֕ע acting more wickedly hê·ra‘ הָאֱמֹרִ֖י than the Amorites hā·’ĕ·mō·rî אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- לְפָנָ֑יו preceded him lə·p̄ā·nāw עָשׂ֥וּ - , ‘ā·śū גַֽם־ and ḡam- בְּגִלּוּלָֽיו׃פ with his idols bə·ḡil·lū·lāw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוּדָ֖ה has caused Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וַיַּחֲטִ֥א to sin , way·ya·ḥă·ṭi 2 Kings 21:12 לָכֵ֗ן - lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִי֙ ‘ Behold , hin·nî מֵבִ֣יא I am bringing mê·ḇî רָעָ֔ה [such] calamity rā·‘āh עַל־ upon ‘al- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וִֽיהוּדָ֑ה and Judah wî·hū·ḏāh אֲשֶׁר֙ that [the news] ’ă·šer תִּצַּ֖לְנָה will reverberate tiṣ·ṣal·nāh שְׁתֵּ֥י vvv šə·tê אָזְנָֽיו׃ in the ears ’ā·zə·nāw כָּל־ of all kāl- שֹׁמְעָיו who hear it . šō·mə·ʿå̄w 2 Kings 21:13 וְנָטִ֣יתִי I will stretch out wə·nā·ṭî·ṯî עַל־ over ‘al- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ קָ֣ו the measuring line qāw שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן used against Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מִשְׁקֹ֖לֶת and the plumb line miš·qō·leṯ בֵּ֣ית used against the house bêṯ אַחְאָ֑ב of Ahab , ’aḥ·’āḇ וּמָחִ֨יתִי and I will wipe out ū·mā·ḥî·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim כַּֽאֲשֶׁר־ as ka·’ă·šer- יִמְחֶ֤ה one wipes out yim·ḥeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַצַּלַּ֙חַת֙ a bowl — haṣ·ṣal·la·ḥaṯ מָחָ֔ה wiping [it] mā·ḥāh וְהָפַ֖ךְ and turning [it] wə·hā·p̄aḵ עַל־ vvv ‘al- פָּנֶֽיהָ׃ upside down . pā·ne·hā 2 Kings 21:14 וְנָטַשְׁתִּ֗י So I will forsake wə·nā·ṭaš·tî אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ נַחֲלָתִ֔י of My inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯî וּנְתַתִּ֖ים and deliver them ū·nə·ṯat·tîm בְּיַ֣ד into the hands bə·yaḏ
