הֲבֵיאתִ֗יהָ brought it to pass , hă·ḇê·ṯî·hā וּתְהִ֗י that you should crush ū·ṯə·hî לַהְשׁ֛וֹת . . . lah·šō·wṯ בְּצֻרֽוֹת׃ fortified bə·ṣu·rō·wṯ עָרִ֥ים cities ‘ā·rîm גַּלִּ֥ים into piles gal·lîm נִצִּ֖ים of rubble . niṣ·ṣîm 2 Kings 19:26 וְיֹֽשְׁבֵיהֶן֙ Therefore their inhabitants , wə·yō·šə·ḇê·hen קִצְרֵי־ devoid qiṣ·rê- יָ֔ד of power , yāḏ חַ֖תּוּ are dismayed ḥat·tū וַיֵּבֹ֑שׁוּ and ashamed . way·yê·ḇō·šū הָי֞וּ They are like hā·yū עֵ֤שֶׂב plants ‘ê·śeḇ שָׂדֶה֙ in the field , śā·ḏeh וִ֣ירַק tender wî·raq דֶּ֔שֶׁא green shoots , de·še חֲצִ֣יר grass ḥă·ṣîr גַּגּ֔וֹת on the rooftops , gag·gō·wṯ וּשְׁדֵפָ֖ה scorched ū·šə·ḏê·p̄āh לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê קָמָֽה׃ it is grown . qā·māh 2 Kings 19:27 יָדָ֑עְתִּי But I know yā·ḏā·‘ə·tî וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ וְשִׁבְתְּךָ֛ your sitting down , wə·šiḇ·tə·ḵā וְצֵאתְךָ֥ your going out wə·ṣê·ṯə·ḵā וּבֹאֲךָ֖ and coming in , ū·ḇō·’ă·ḵā הִֽתְרַגֶּזְךָ֥ and your raging hiṯ·rag·gez·ḵā אֵלָֽי׃ against Me . ’ê·lāy 2 Kings 19:28 יַ֚עַן Because ya·‘an הִתְרַגֶּזְךָ֣ your rage hiṯ·rag·gez·ḵā וְשַׁאֲנַנְךָ֖ and arrogance wə·ša·’ă·nan·ḵā אֵלַ֔י against Me ’ê·lay עָלָ֣ה have reached ‘ā·lāh בְאָזְנָ֑י My ears , ḇə·’ā·zə·nāy וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י I will put wə·śam·tî חַחִ֜י My hook ḥa·ḥî בְּאַפֶּ֗ךָ in your nose bə·’ap·pe·ḵā וּמִתְגִּי֙ and My bit ū·miṯ·gî בִּשְׂפָתֶ֔יךָ in your mouth ; biś·p̄ā·ṯe·ḵā וַהֲשִׁ֣בֹתִ֔יךָ I will send you back wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯî·ḵā בַּדֶּ֖רֶךְ the way bad·de·reḵ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- בָּ֥אתָ you came bā·ṯā בָּֽהּ׃ . ’ bāh 2 Kings 19:29 וְזֶה־ And this wə·zeh- הָא֔וֹת will be a sign hā·’ō·wṯ לְּךָ֣ to you, [O Hezekiah] : lə·ḵā הַשָּׁנָה֙ This year haš·šā·nāh אָכ֤וֹל you will eat ’ā·ḵō·wl סָפִ֔יחַ what grows on its own , sā·p̄î·aḥ הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית and in the second haš·šê·nîṯ וּבַשָּׁנָ֥ה year ū·ḇaš·šā·nāh סָחִ֑ישׁ what springs from the same . sā·ḥîš הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗ית But in the third haš·šə·lî·šîṯ וּבַשָּׁנָ֣ה year ū·ḇaš·šā·nāh זִרְע֧וּ you will sow zir·‘ū וְקִצְר֛וּ and reap ; wə·qiṣ·rū וְנִטְע֥וּ you will plant wə·niṭ·‘ū כְרָמִ֖ים vineyards ḵə·rā·mîm וְאִכְל֥וּ and eat wə·’iḵ·lū פִרְיָֽם׃ their fruit . p̄ir·yām 2 Kings 19:30 הַנִּשְׁאָרָ֖ה And the surviving han·niš·’ā·rāh פְּלֵיטַ֧ת remnant pə·lê·ṭaṯ בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- יְהוּדָ֛ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְיָ֨סְפָ֜ה will again wə·yā·sə·p̄āh שֹׁ֣רֶשׁ take root šō·reš לְמָ֑טָּה below lə·māṭ·ṭāh וְעָשָׂ֥ה and bear wə·‘ā·śāh פְרִ֖י fruit p̄ə·rî לְמָֽעְלָה׃ above . lə·mā·‘ə·lāh 2 Kings 19:31 כִּ֤י For kî שְׁאֵרִ֔ית a remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ תֵּצֵ֣א will go forth tê·ṣê מִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ from Jerusalem , mî·rū·šā·lim וּפְלֵיטָ֖ה and survivors ū·p̄ə·lê·ṭāh מֵהַ֣ר from Mount mê·har צִיּ֑וֹן Zion . ṣî·yō·wn קִנְאַ֛ת The zeal qin·’aṯ יְהוָ֥הֳ֖ of YHWH [of Hosts] ha·šēm תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־ will accomplish ta·‘ă·śeh-
