יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer שָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ I have heard šā·mā·‘ə·tî הִתְפַּלַּ֧לְתָּ your prayer hiṯ·pal·lal·tā אֵלַ֛י - ’ê·lay אֶל־ concerning ’el- סַנְחֵרִ֥ב Sennacherib san·ḥê·riḇ מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- אַשּׁ֖וּר of Assyria . ’aš·šūr 2 Kings 19:21 זֶ֣ה This zeh הַדָּבָ֔ר is the word had·dā·ḇār אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֥ר has spoken dib·ber עָלָ֑יו against him : ‘ā·lāw בְּתוּלַת֙ ‘ The Virgin bə·ṯū·laṯ בַּת־ Daughter baṯ- צִיּ֔וֹן of Zion ṣî·yō·wn בָּזָ֨ה despises bā·zāh לְךָ֜ you lə·ḵā לָעֲגָ֣ה and mocks lā·‘ă·ḡāh לְךָ֗ you ; lə·ḵā בַּ֖ת the Daughter baṯ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim הֵנִ֔יעָה shakes hê·nî·‘āh רֹ֣אשׁ her head rōš אַחֲרֶ֙יךָ֙ behind you . ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā 2 Kings 19:22 אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִ֤י Whom mî חֵרַ֙פְתָּ֙ have you taunted ḥê·rap̄·tā וְגִדַּ֔פְתָּ and blasphemed ? wə·ḡid·dap̄·tā וְעַל־ Against wə·‘al- מִ֖י whom mî הֲרִימ֣וֹתָ have you raised hă·rî·mō·w·ṯā קּ֑וֹל your voice qō·wl וַתִּשָּׂ֥א and lifted wat·tiś·śā עֵינֶ֖יךָ your eyes ‘ê·ne·ḵā מָר֛וֹם in pride ? mā·rō·wm עַל־ Against ‘al- קְד֥וֹשׁ the Holy One qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel ! yiś·rā·’êl 2 Kings 19:23 בְּיַ֣ד Through bə·yaḏ מַלְאָכֶיךָ֮ your servants mal·’ā·ḵe·ḵā חֵרַ֣פְתָּ׀ you have taunted ḥê·rap̄·tā אֲדֹנָי֒ the Lord , ’ă·ḏō·nāy וַתֹּ֗אמֶר and you have said : wat·tō·mer בְּרֶכֶב “ With my many bə·rɛ·ḵɛḇ רִכְבִּ֛י chariots riḵ·bî אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî עָלִ֛יתִי have ascended ‘ā·lî·ṯî מְר֥וֹם to the heights mə·rō·wm הָרִ֖ים of the mountains , hā·rîm יַרְכְּתֵ֣י to the remote peaks yar·kə·ṯê לְבָנ֑וֹן of Lebanon . lə·ḇā·nō·wn וְאֶכְרֹ֞ת I have cut down wə·’eḵ·rōṯ קוֹמַ֤ת its tallest qō·w·maṯ אֲרָזָיו֙ cedars , ’ă·rā·zāw מִבְח֣וֹר the finest miḇ·ḥō·wr בְּרֹשָׁ֔יו of its cypresses . bə·rō·šāw וְאָב֙וֹאָה֙ I have reached wə·’ā·ḇō·w·’āh קִצֹּ֔ה its farthest qiṣ·ṣōh מְל֣וֹן outposts , mə·lō·wn יַ֖עַר the densest ya·‘ar כַּרְמִלּֽוֹ׃ of its forests . kar·mil·lōw 2 Kings 19:24 אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî קַ֔רְתִּי have dug wells qar·tî וְשָׁתִ֖יתִי and drunk wə·šā·ṯî·ṯî זָרִ֑ים foreign zā·rîm מַ֣יִם waters . ma·yim בְּכַף־ With the soles bə·ḵap̄- פְּעָמַ֔י of my feet pə·‘ā·may וְאַחְרִב֙ I have dried up wə·’aḥ·riḇ כֹּ֖ל all kōl יְאֹרֵ֥י the streams yə·’ō·rê מָצֽוֹר׃ of Egypt . ” mā·ṣō·wr 2 Kings 19:25 הֲלֹֽא־ Have you not hă·lō- שָׁמַ֤עְתָּ heard ? šā·ma‘·tā לְמֵֽרָחוֹק֙ Long ago lə·mê·rā·ḥō·wq עָשִׂ֔יתִי I ordained ‘ā·śî·ṯî אֹתָ֣הּ it ; ’ō·ṯāh לְמִ֥ימֵי in days lə·mî·mê קֶ֖דֶם of old qe·ḏem וִֽיצַרְתִּ֑יהָ I planned it . wî·ṣar·tî·hā עַתָּ֣ה Now I have ‘at·tāh
