מֶֽלֶךְ־ the king me·leḵ- אַשּׁוּר֩׀ of Assyria ’aš·šūr לָכִ֨ישָׁה׀ at Lachish , lā·ḵî·šāh לֵאמֹ֤ר׀ saying , lê·mōr חָטָ֙אתִי֙ “ I have done wrong ; ḥā·ṭā·ṯî שׁ֣וּב withdraw šūḇ מֵֽעָלַ֔י from me , mê·‘ā·lay אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ אֶשָּׂ֑א and I will pay ’eś·śā אֲשֶׁר־ whatever ’ă·šer- תִּתֵּ֥ן you demand tit·tên עָלַ֖י from me . ” ‘ā·lay מֶֽלֶךְ־ And the king me·leḵ- אַשּׁ֜וּר of Assyria ’aš·šūr וַיָּ֨שֶׂם exacted way·yā·śem עַל־ from ‘al- חִזְקִיָּ֣ה Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yāh מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh שְׁלֹ֤שׁ three šə·lōš מֵאוֹת֙ hundred mê·’ō·wṯ כִּכַּר־ talents kik·kar- כֶּ֔סֶף of silver ke·sep̄ וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים and thirty ū·šə·lō·šîm כִּכַּ֥ר talents kik·kar זָהָֽב׃ of gold . zā·hāḇ 2 Kings 18:15 חִזְקִיָּ֔ה Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּתֵּן֙ gave him way·yit·tên כָּל־ all kāl- הַכֶּ֖סֶף the silver hak·ke·sep̄ הַנִּמְצָ֣א that was found han·nim·ṣā בֵית־ in the house ḇêṯ- יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh וּבְאֹצְר֖וֹת and in the treasuries ū·ḇə·’ō·ṣə·rō·wṯ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ of the royal ham·me·leḵ בֵּ֥ית palace . bêṯ 2 Kings 18:16 הַהִ֗יא At that ha·hî בָּעֵ֣ת time bā·‘êṯ חִזְקִיָּ֜ה Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קִצַּ֨ץ stripped [the gold] qiṣ·ṣaṣ חִזְקִיָּ֖ה with which ḥiz·qî·yāh צִפָּ֔ה he had plated ṣip·pāh דַּלְת֨וֹת the doors dal·ṯō·wṯ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הָאֹ֣מְנ֔וֹת doorposts hā·’ō·mə·nō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הֵיכַ֤ל of the temple hê·ḵal יְהוָה֙ of YHWH , Yah·weh מֶ֣לֶךְ and [he] me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה . . . yə·hū·ḏāh וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם gave it way·yit·tə·nêm לְמֶ֥לֶךְ to the king lə·me·leḵ אַשּֽׁוּר׃פ of Assyria . ’aš·šūr 2 Kings 18:17 מֶֽלֶךְ־ Nevertheless, the king me·leḵ- אַשּׁ֡וּר of Assyria ’aš·šūr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח sent way·yiš·laḥ תַּרְתָּ֥ן the Tartan , tar·tān וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- רַב־ vvv raḇ- סָרִ֣יס׀ the Rabsaris , sā·rîs וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- רַב־ vvv raḇ- שָׁקֵ֨ה and the Rabshakeh , šā·qêh כָּבֵ֖ד along with a great army , kā·ḇêḏ מִן־ from min- לָכִ֜ישׁ Lachish lā·ḵîš אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū בְּחֵ֥יל . . . bə·ḥêl יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם at Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim וַֽיַּעֲלוּ֙ They advanced up way·ya·‘ă·lū וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ . . . way·yā·ḇō·’ū יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם to Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וַיַּעֲל֣וּ . . . way·ya·‘ă·lū וַיָּבֹ֗אוּ . . . way·yā·ḇō·’ū וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙ and stationed themselves way·ya·‘am·ḏū בִּתְעָלַת֙ by the aqueduct biṯ·‘ā·laṯ הָֽעֶלְיוֹנָ֔ה of the upper hā·‘el·yō·w·nāh הַבְּרֵכָ֣ה pool , hab·bə·rê·ḵāh אֲשֶׁ֕ר - ’ă·šer בִּמְסִלַּ֖ת on the road bim·sil·laṯ כוֹבֵֽס׃ to the Launderer’s ḵō·w·ḇês שְׂדֵ֥ה Field . śə·ḏêh 2 Kings 18:18 וַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֙ Then they called way·yiq·rə·’ū
