2 Kings 15:12 ה֣וּא - hū דְבַר־ So the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer דִּבֶּ֤ר spoken dib·ber אֶל־ to ’el- יֵהוּא֙ Jehu yê·hū לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr וַֽיְהִי־ was fulfilled way·hî- כֵֽן׃פ : ḵên רְבִיעִ֔ים “ Four generations rə·ḇî·‘îm בְּנֵ֣י of your sons bə·nê לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā יֵשְׁב֥וּ will sit yê·šə·ḇū עַל־ on ‘al- כִּסֵּ֣א the throne kis·sê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel . ” yiś·rā·’êl 2 Kings 15:13 שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים In the thirty-ninth šə·lō·šîm וָתֵ֙שַׁע֙ . . . wā·ṯê·ša‘ שָׁנָ֔ה . . . šā·nāh בִּשְׁנַ֨ת year biš·naṯ לְעֻזִיָּ֖ה of Uzziah’s lə·‘u·zî·yāh מֶ֣לֶךְ reign me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה over Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh שַׁלּ֤וּם Shallum šal·lūm בֶּן־ son ben- יָבֵישׁ֙ of Jabesh yā·ḇêš מָלַ֔ךְ became king , mā·laḵ וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ and he reigned way·yim·lōḵ בְּשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ in Samaria bə·šō·mə·rō·wn יֶֽרַח־ one full month ye·raḥ- יָמִ֖ים . . . . yā·mîm 2 Kings 15:14 מְנַחֵ֨ם Then Menahem mə·na·ḥêm בֶּן־ son ben- גָּדִ֜י of Gadi gā·ḏî וַיַּעַל֩ went up way·ya·‘al מִתִּרְצָ֗ה from Tirzah mit·tir·ṣāh וַיָּבֹא֙ . . . way·yā·ḇō שֹׁמְר֔וֹן to Samaria , šō·mə·rō·wn וַיַּ֛ךְ struck down way·yaḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְמִיתֵ֖הוּ and killed way·mî·ṯê·hū שַׁלּ֥וּם Shallum šal·lūm בֶּן־ son ben- יָבֵ֖ישׁ of Jabesh yā·ḇêš בְּשֹׁמְר֑וֹן - , bə·šō·mə·rō·wn וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ and reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Kings 15:15 וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֣י of the acts diḇ·rê שַׁלּ֔וּם of Shallum , šal·lūm וְקִשְׁר֖וֹ along with the conspiracy wə·qiš·rōw אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer קָשָׁ֑ר he led , qā·šār הִנָּ֣ם they are indeed hin·nām כְּתֻבִ֗ים written kə·ṯu·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl 2 Kings 15:16 אָ֣ז At that time ’āz מְ֠נַחֵם Menahem , mə·na·ḥêm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִתִּרְצָ֔ה starting from Tirzah , mit·tir·ṣāh יַכֶּֽה־ attacked yak·keh- תִּפְסַ֨ח Tiphsah tip̄·saḥ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ everyone kāl- אֲשֶׁר־ in its ’ă·šer- בָּ֤הּ bāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- גְּבוּלֶ֙יהָ֙ vicinity , gə·ḇū·le·hā כִּ֛י because kî לֹ֥א they would not lō פָתַ֖ח open [their gates] . p̄ā·ṯaḥ וַיַּ֑ךְ So he attacked [Tiphsah] way·yaḵ אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ בִּקֵּֽעַ׃פ and ripped open biq·qê·a‘ כָּל־ all kāl- הֶהָ֥רוֹתֶ֖יהָ the pregnant women . he·hā·rō·w·ṯe·hā 2 Kings 15:17 שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים In the thirty-ninth šə·lō·šîm וָתֵ֙שַׁע֙ . . . wā·ṯê·ša‘
