2 Kings 9:33 שִׁמְטֻהוּ “ Throw her down ! ” šim·ṭu·hū וַיֹּ֥אמֶר yelled [Jehu] . way·yō·mer וַֽיִּשְׁמְט֑וּהָ So they threw her down , way·yiš·mə·ṭū·hā מִדָּמָ֧הּ and her blood mid·dā·māh וַיִּ֨ז splattered way·yiz אֶל־ on ’el- הַקִּ֛יר the wall haq·qîr וְאֶל־ and on wə·’el- הַסּוּסִ֖ים the horses has·sū·sîm וַֽיִּרְמְסֶֽנָּה׃ as they trampled her underfoot . way·yir·mə·sen·nāh 2 Kings 9:34 וַיָּבֹ֖א Then [Jehu] went in way·yā·ḇō וַיֹּ֣אכַל and ate way·yō·ḵal וַיֵּ֑שְׁתְּ and drank . way·yê·šət פִּקְדוּ־ “ Take care of piq·ḏū- נָ֞א . . . nā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֹּאת֙ this haz·zōṯ הָאֲרוּרָ֤ה cursed [woman] , ” hā·’ă·rū·rāh וַיֹּ֗אמֶר he said , way·yō·mer וְקִבְר֔וּהָ “ and bury her , wə·qiḇ·rū·hā כִּ֥י for kî הִֽיא׃ she [was] hî בַת־ the daughter ḇaṯ- מֶ֖לֶךְ of a king . ” me·leḵ 2 Kings 9:35 וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ But when they went out way·yê·lə·ḵū לְקָבְרָ֑הּ to bury her , lə·qā·ḇə·rāh מָ֣צְאוּ they found mā·ṣə·’ū וְלֹא־ nothing wə·lō- כִּ֧י but kî אִם־ . . . ’im- בָ֗הּ her ḇāh הַגֻּלְגֹּ֛לֶת skull , hag·gul·gō·leṯ וְהָרַגְלַ֖יִם her feet , wə·hā·raḡ·la·yim וְכַפּ֥וֹת and the palms wə·ḵap·pō·wṯ הַיָּדָֽיִם׃ of her hands . hay·yā·ḏā·yim 2 Kings 9:36 וַיָּשֻׁבוּ֮ So they went back way·yā·šu·ḇū וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ and told way·yag·gî·ḏū לוֹ֒ [Jehu] , lōw וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ who replied , way·yō·mer ה֔וּא “ This hū דְּבַר־ is the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH , Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ’ă·šer דִּבֶּ֗ר He spoke dib·ber בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- עַבְדּ֛וֹ His servant ‘aḇ·dōw אֵלִיָּ֥הוּ Elijah ’ê·lî·yā·hū הַתִּשְׁבִּ֖י the Tishbite hat·tiš·bî לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . : lê·mōr בְּחֵ֣לֶק ‘ On the plot [of ground] bə·ḥê·leq יִזְרְעֶ֔אל at Jezreel yiz·rə·‘el הַכְּלָבִ֖ים the dogs hak·kə·lā·ḇîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יֹאכְל֥וּ will devour yō·ḵə·lū בְּשַׂ֥ר the flesh bə·śar אִיזָֽבֶל׃ of Jezebel . ’î·zā·ḇel 2 Kings 9:37 אִיזֶ֗בֶל And Jezebel’s ’î·ze·ḇel נִבְלַ֣ת body niḇ·laṯ וְהָיָת will lie wə·hå̄·yå̄ṯ כְּדֹ֛מֶן like dung kə·ḏō·men עַל־ vvv ‘al- פְּנֵ֥י vvv pə·nê הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה in the field haś·śā·ḏeh בְּחֵ֣לֶק on the plot [of ground] bə·ḥê·leq יִזְרְעֶ֑אל at Jezreel , yiz·rə·‘el אֲשֶׁ֥ר so that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ no one lō- יֹאמְר֖וּ can say : yō·mə·rū זֹ֥את This zōṯ אִיזָֽבֶל׃פ is Jezebel . ’ ” ’î·zā·ḇel 2 Kings 10:1 וּלְאַחְאָ֛ב Now Ahab ū·lə·’aḥ·’āḇ שִׁבְעִ֥ים had seventy šiḇ·‘îm בָּנִ֖ים sons bā·nîm בְּשֹׁמְר֑וֹן in Samaria . bə·šō·mə·rō·wn יֵה֨וּא So Jehu yê·hū וַיִּכְתֹּב֩ wrote way·yiḵ·tōḇ סְפָרִ֜ים letters sə·p̄ā·rîm וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח and sent them way·yiš·laḥ שֹׁמְר֗וֹן to Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn אֶל־ to ’el- שָׂרֵ֤י the officials śā·rê יִזְרְעֶאל֙ of Jezreel , yiz·rə·‘el הַזְּקֵנִ֔ים to the elders , haz·zə·qê·nîm וְאֶל־ and to wə·’el- הָאֹמְנִ֥ים the guardians [of the sons] hā·’ō·mə·nîm
