1 Kings 22:44 יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט Jehoshaphat yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ם also made peace way·yaš·lêm עִם־ with ‘im- מֶ֥לֶךְ the king me·leḵ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl 1 Kings 22:45 וְיֶ֨תֶר As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֧י of the acts diḇ·rê יְהוֹשָׁפָ֛ט of Jehoshaphat , yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ וּגְבוּרָת֥וֹ along with the might ū·ḡə·ḇū·rā·ṯōw עָשָׂ֖ה he exercised ‘ā·śāh וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר - wa·’ă·šer אֲשֶׁר־ and how ’ă·šer- נִלְחָ֑ם he waged war , nil·ḥām הֵ֣ם [are] they hêm הֲלֹֽא־ not hă·lō- כְּתוּבִ֗ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah ? yə·hū·ḏāh 1 Kings 22:46 בִּעֵ֖ר He banished bi·‘êr מִן־ from min- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the land hā·’ā·reṣ וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ the wə·ye·ṯer הַקָּדֵ֔שׁ male shrine prostitutes haq·qā·ḏêš אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer נִשְׁאַ֔ר remained niš·’ar בִּימֵ֖י from the days bî·mê אָבִ֑יו of his father ’ā·ḇîw אָסָ֣א Asa . ’ā·sā 1 Kings 22:47 אֵ֛ין And there was no ’ên וּמֶ֥לֶךְ king ū·me·leḵ בֶּאֱד֖וֹם in Edom ; be·’ĕ·ḏō·wm נִצָּ֥ב a deputy niṣ·ṣāḇ מֶֽלֶךְ׃ served as king . me·leḵ 1 Kings 22:48 יְהוֹשָׁפָ֡ט Jehoshaphat yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ עָשָׂר built ʿå̄·śå̄r אֳנִיּ֨וֹת ships ’o·nî·yō·wṯ תַּרְשִׁ֜ישׁ of Tarshish tar·šîš לָלֶ֧כֶת to go lā·le·ḵeṯ אוֹפִ֛ירָה to Ophir ’ō·w·p̄î·rāh לַזָּהָ֖ב for gold , laz·zā·hāḇ וְלֹ֣א but they never wə·lō הָלָ֑ךְ set sail , hā·lāḵ כִּֽי־ because kî- אֳנִיּ֖וֹת [they] ’o·nî·yō·wṯ בְּעֶצְי֥וֹן bə·‘eṣ·yō·wn נִשְׁבְּרָה were wrecked niš·bə·rå̄h גָּֽבֶר׃ at Ezion-geber . gā·ḇer 1 Kings 22:49 אָ֠ז At that time ’āz אֲחַזְיָ֤הוּ Ahaziah ’ă·ḥaz·yā·hū בֶן־ son ḇen- אַחְאָב֙ of Ahab ’aḥ·’āḇ אָמַ֞ר said ’ā·mar אֶל־ to ’el- יְה֣וֹשָׁפָ֔ט Jehoshaphat , yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ עֲבָדַ֛י “ Let my servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏay יֵלְכ֧וּ sail yê·lə·ḵū בָּאֳנִיּ֑וֹת . . . bā·’o·nî·yō·wṯ עִם־ with ‘im- עֲבָדֶ֖יךָ your servants , ” ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā יְהוֹשָׁפָֽט׃ but Jehoshaphat yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ וְלֹ֥א refused wə·lō אָבָ֖ה . . . . ’ā·ḇāh 1 Kings 22:50 יְהֽוֹשָׁפָט֙ And Jehoshaphat yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב rested way·yiš·kaḇ עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֔יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וַיִּקָּבֵר֙ and was buried way·yiq·qā·ḇêr עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֔יו them ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw בְּעִ֖יר in the city bə·‘îr אָבִ֑יו of his father ’ā·ḇîw דָּוִ֣ד David . dā·wiḏ בְּנ֖וֹ And his son bə·nōw יְהוֹרָ֥ם Jehoram yə·hō·w·rām וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ
