1 Kings 16:19 עַל־ because of ‘al- חַטָּאתוֹ the sins ḥaṭ·ṭå̄·ṯō אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer חָטָ֔א he had committed , ḥā·ṭā לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת doing la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh לָלֶ֙כֶת֙ and following lā·le·ḵeṯ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ the example bə·ḏe·reḵ יָרָבְעָ֔ם of Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām וּבְחַטָּאתוֹ֙ and the sin ū·ḇə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֔ה he had committed ‘ā·śāh יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ and had caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl לְהַחֲטִ֖יא to commit . lə·ha·ḥă·ṭî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- 1 Kings 16:20 וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֣י of the acts diḇ·rê זִמְרִ֔י of Zimri zim·rî וְקִשְׁר֖וֹ and the treason wə·qiš·rōw אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer קָשָׁ֑ר he committed , qā·šār הֵ֣ם [are] they hêm הֲלֹֽא־ not hă·lō- כְּתוּבִ֗ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ of Israel ? yiś·rā·’êl 1 Kings 16:21 אָ֧ז At that time ’āz הָעָ֥ם the people hā·‘ām יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יֵחָלֵ֛ק were divided : yê·ḥā·lêq לַחֵ֑צִי Half la·ḥê·ṣî חֲצִ֨י . . . ḥă·ṣî הָעָ֜ם of the people hā·‘ām הָ֠יָה supported hā·yāh אַחֲרֵ֨י . . . ’a·ḥă·rê תִבְנִ֤י Tibni ṯiḇ·nî בֶן־ son ḇen- גִּינַת֙ of Ginath gî·naṯ לְהַמְלִיכ֔וֹ as king , lə·ham·lî·ḵōw וְהַחֲצִ֖י and half wə·ha·ḥă·ṣî אַחֲרֵ֥י supported ’a·ḥă·rê עָמְרִֽי׃ Omri . ‘ā·mə·rî 1 Kings 16:22 הָעָם֙ But the followers hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אַחֲרֵ֣י - ’a·ḥă·rê עָמְרִ֔י of Omri ‘ā·mə·rî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיֶּחֱזַ֤ק proved stronger way·ye·ḥĕ·zaq הָעָ֕ם than those hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אַחֲרֵ֖י - ’a·ḥă·rê תִּבְנִ֣י of Tibni tiḇ·nî בֶן־ son ḇen- גִּינַ֑ת of Ginath . gî·naṯ תִּבְנִ֔י So Tibni tiḇ·nî וַיָּ֣מָת died way·yā·māṯ עָמְרִֽי׃פ and Omri ‘ā·mə·rî וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ became king . way·yim·lōḵ 1 Kings 16:23 שְׁלֹשִׁ֨ים In the thirty-first šə·lō·šîm וְאַחַ֜ת . . . wə·’a·ḥaṯ בִּשְׁנַת֩ year biš·naṯ שָׁנָ֗ה šā·nāh לְאָסָא֙ of Asa’s lə·’ā·sā מֶ֣לֶךְ reign me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֔ה over Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh עָמְרִי֙ Omri ‘ā·mə·rî מָלַ֤ךְ became king mā·laḵ עַל־ of ‘al- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel , yiś·rā·’êl שְׁתֵּ֥ים [and he reigned] twelve šə·têm עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֑ה years , šā·nāh מָלַ֥ךְ - mā·laḵ שֵׁשׁ־ six šêš- שָׁנִֽים׃ [of them] šā·nîm בְּתִרְצָ֖ה in Tirzah . bə·ṯir·ṣāh
