מַבְעִ֛יר I will consume maḇ·‘îr אַחֲרֵ֥י ’a·ḥă·rê בַעְשָׁ֖א Baasha ḇa‘·šā וְאַחֲרֵ֣י wə·’a·ḥă·rê בֵית֑וֹ and his house , ḇê·ṯōw וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ and I will make wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֣יתְךָ֔ your house bê·ṯə·ḵā כְּבֵ֖ית like that kə·ḇêṯ יָרָבְעָ֥ם of Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- נְבָֽט׃ of Nebat : nə·ḇāṭ 1 Kings 16:4 לְבַעְשָׁא֙ Anyone belonging to Baasha lə·ḇa‘·šā הַמֵּ֤ת who dies ham·mêṯ בָּעִ֔יר in the city bā·‘îr יֹֽאכְל֖וּ will be eaten yō·ḵə·lū הַכְּלָבִ֑ים by dogs , hak·kə·lā·ḇîm וְהַמֵּ֥ת and anyone who dies wə·ham·mêṯ לוֹ֙ lōw בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the field baś·śā·ḏeh יֹאכְל֖וּ will be eaten yō·ḵə·lū ע֥וֹף by the birds ‘ō·wp̄ הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ of the air . ” haš·šā·mā·yim 1 Kings 16:5 וְיֶ֨תֶר As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֥י of the acts diḇ·rê בַעְשָׁ֛א of Baasha , ḇa‘·šā וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר along with his accomplishments wa·’ă·šer עָשָׂ֖ה . . . ‘ā·śāh וּגְבֽוּרָת֑וֹ and might , ū·ḡə·ḇū·rā·ṯōw הֵ֣ם [are] they hêm הֲלֹא־ not hă·lō- כְּתוּבִ֗ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel ? yiś·rā·’êl 1 Kings 16:6 בַּעְשָׁא֙ And Baasha ba‘·šā וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב rested way·yiš·kaḇ עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֔יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר and was buried way·yiq·qā·ḇêr בְּתִרְצָ֑ה in Tirzah , bə·ṯir·ṣāh בְנ֖וֹ and his son ḇə·nōw אֵלָ֥ה Elah ’ê·lāh וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ in his place . taḥ·tāw 1 Kings 16:7 וְגַ֡ם Moreover , wə·ḡam דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֡ה of YHWH Yah·weh הָיָה֩ came hā·yāh בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- הַנָּבִ֗יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî יֵה֨וּא Jehu yê·hū בֶן־ son ḇen- חֲנָ֜נִי of Hanani ḥă·nā·nî אֶל־ against ’el- בַּעְשָׁ֨א Baasha ba‘·šā וְאֶל־ [and] wə·’el- בֵּית֜וֹ his house , bê·ṯōw וְעַ֥ל because of wə·‘al כָּל־ all kāl- הָרָעָ֣ה׀ the evil hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- עָשָׂ֣ה׀ he had done ‘ā·śāh בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH , Yah·weh לְהַכְעִיסוֹ֙ provoking Him to anger lə·haḵ·‘î·sōw בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה with the work bə·ma·‘ă·śêh יָדָ֔יו of his hands yā·ḏāw לִהְי֖וֹת and becoming lih·yō·wṯ כְּבֵ֣ית like the house kə·ḇêṯ יָרָבְעָ֑ם of Jeroboam , yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām וְעַ֥ל and also wə·‘al אֲשֶׁר־ because ’ă·šer- הִכָּ֖ה Baasha had struck down hik·kāh אֹתֽוֹ׃פ [the house of Jeroboam] . ’ō·ṯōw 1 Kings 16:8 עֶשְׂרִ֤ים In the twenty-sixth ‘eś·rîm וָשֵׁשׁ֙ . . . wā·šêš בִּשְׁנַ֨ת year biš·naṯ שָׁנָ֔ה šā·nāh לְאָסָ֖א of Asa’s lə·’ā·sā מֶ֣לֶךְ reign me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה over Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh
