לֹֽא־ had not lō- אָכַ֤ל eaten ’ā·ḵal הַנְּבֵלָ֔ה the body han·nə·ḇê·lāh וְלֹ֥א . . . wə·lō שָׁבַ֖ר or mauled šā·ḇar אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הַחֲמֽוֹר׃ the donkey . ha·ḥă·mō·wr 1 Kings 13:29 הַנָּבִ֜יא So the old prophet han·nā·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשָּׂ֨א lifted up way·yiś·śā נִבְלַ֧ת the body niḇ·laṯ אִישׁ־ of the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיַּנִּחֵ֥הוּ laid way·yan·ni·ḥê·hū אֶֽל־ it on ’el- הַחֲמ֖וֹר the donkey , ha·ḥă·mō·wr וַיְשִׁיבֵ֑הוּ and brought it back way·šî·ḇê·hū הַזָּקֵ֔ן to his own haz·zā·qên הַנָּבִ֣יא - han·nā·ḇî וַיָּבֹ֗א - way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ - ’el- עִיר֙ city ‘îr לִסְפֹּ֖ד to mourn for him lis·pōḏ וּלְקָבְרֽוֹ׃ and bury him . ū·lə·qā·ḇə·rōw 1 Kings 13:30 וַיַּנַּ֥ח Then he laid way·yan·naḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נִבְלָת֖וֹ the body niḇ·lā·ṯōw בְּקִבְר֑וֹ in his own tomb , bə·qiḇ·rōw וַיִּסְפְּד֥וּ and they lamented way·yis·pə·ḏū עָלָ֖יו over him , ‘ā·lāw ה֥וֹי “ Oh , hō·w אָחִֽי׃ my brother ! ” ’ā·ḥî 1 Kings 13:31 וַיְהִי֮ - way·hî אַחֲרֵ֣י After ’a·ḥă·rê קָבְר֣וֹ he had buried him , qā·ḇə·rōw אֹתוֹ֒ - ’ō·ṯōw וַיֹּ֤אמֶר [the prophet] said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- בָּנָיו֙ his sons , bā·nāw לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr בְּמוֹתִי֙ “ When I die , bə·mō·w·ṯî וּקְבַרְתֶּ֣ם you must bury ū·qə·ḇar·tem אֹתִ֔י me ’ō·ṯî בַּקֶּ֕בֶר in the tomb baq·qe·ḇer אֲשֶׁ֛ר where ’ă·šer אִ֥ישׁ the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm קָב֣וּר is buried qā·ḇūr בּ֑וֹ . bōw הַנִּ֖יחוּ Lay han·nî·ḥū עַצְמֹתָ֔יו my bones ‘aṣ·mō·ṯāw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֵ֚צֶל beside ’ê·ṣel עַצְמֹתָֽי׃ his bones , ‘aṣ·mō·ṯāy 1 Kings 13:32 כִּי֩ for kî הַדָּבָ֗ר the message had·dā·ḇār אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer קָרָא֙ he cried out qā·rā בִּדְבַ֣ר by the word biḏ·ḇar יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh עַל־ against ‘al- הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בְּבֵֽית־ vvv bə·ḇêṯ- אֵ֑ל in Bethel ’êl וְעַל֙ and against wə·‘al כָּל־ all kāl- בָּתֵּ֣י the shrines bāt·tê הַבָּמ֔וֹת on the high places hab·bā·mō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer בְּעָרֵ֥י in the cities bə·‘ā·rê שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃פ of Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn הָיֹ֨ה will surely hā·yōh יִהְיֶ֜ה come to pass . ” yih·yeh 1 Kings 13:33 אַחַר֙ Even after ’a·ḥar הַזֶּ֔ה these haz·zeh הַדָּבָ֣ר events , had·dā·ḇār יָרָבְעָ֖ם Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām לֹֽא־ did not lō- שָׁ֥ב repent šāḇ הָרָעָ֑ה of his evil hā·rā·‘āh מִדַּרְכּ֣וֹ ways , mid·dar·kōw וַ֠יָּשָׁב but again way·yā·šāḇ וַיַּ֜עַשׂ he appointed way·ya·‘aś כֹּהֲנֵ֣י priests kō·hă·nê
