הֲשִׁבֵ֤הוּ ‘ Bring him back hă·ši·ḇê·hū אִתְּךָ֙ with you ’it·tə·ḵā אֶל־ to ’el- בֵּיתֶ֔ךָ your house , bê·ṯe·ḵā וְיֹ֥אכַל so that he may eat wə·yō·ḵal לֶ֖חֶם bread le·ḥem וְיֵ֣שְׁתְּ and drink wə·yê·šət מָ֑יִם water . ’” mā·yim כִּחֵ֖שׁ The old prophet was lying ki·ḥêš לֽוֹ׃ to him , lōw 1 Kings 13:19 וַיָּ֣שָׁב but the man of God went back way·yā·šāḇ אִתּ֗וֹ with him , ’it·tōw וַיֹּ֥אכַל ate way·yō·ḵal לֶ֛חֶם bread le·ḥem בְּבֵית֖וֹ in his house , bə·ḇê·ṯōw וַיֵּ֥שְׁתְּ and drank way·yê·šət מָֽיִם׃ water . mā·yim 1 Kings 13:20 הֵ֥ם While they hêm יֹשְׁבִ֖ים were sitting yō·šə·ḇîm אֶל־ at ’el- הַשֻּׁלְחָ֑ן פ the table , haš·šul·ḥå̄n p̄ וַֽיְהִי֙ . . . way·hî דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֕י came way·hî אֶל־ to ’el- הַנָּבִ֖יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer הֱשִׁיבֽוֹ׃ had brought him back , hĕ·šî·ḇōw 1 Kings 13:21 וַיִּקְרָ֞א and the prophet cried out way·yiq·rā אֶל־ to ’el- אִ֣ישׁ the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בָּ֤א had come bā מִֽיהוּדָה֙ from Judah , mî·hū·ḏāh כֹּ֖ה “ This is what kōh אָמַ֣ר . . . ’ā·mar יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֔ר says : lê·mōr יַ֗עַן ‘ Because ya·‘an כִּ֤י . . . kî מָרִ֙יתָ֙ you have defied mā·rî·ṯā פִּ֣י the word pî יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְלֹ֤א and have not wə·lō שָׁמַ֙רְתָּ֙ kept šā·mar·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּצְוָ֔ה the commandment ham·miṣ·wāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā צִוְּךָ֖ gave you , ṣiw·wə·ḵā 1 Kings 13:22 וַתָּ֗שָׁב but you went back wat·tā·šāḇ וַתֹּ֤אכַל and ate wat·tō·ḵal לֶ֙חֶם֙ bread le·ḥem וַתֵּ֣שְׁתְּ and drank wat·tê·šət מַ֔יִם water ma·yim בַּמָּקוֹם֙ in the place bam·mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֣ר where ’ă·šer דִּבֶּ֣ר He told dib·ber אֵלֶ֔יךָ you ’ê·le·ḵā אַל־ not ’al- תֹּ֥אכַל to do so tō·ḵal לֶ֖חֶם . . . le·ḥem וְאַל־ . . . wə·’al- תֵּ֣שְׁתְּ . . . tê·šət מָ֑יִם . . . , mā·yim נִבְלָתְךָ֖ your body niḇ·lā·ṯə·ḵā לֹֽא־ shall never lō- תָב֥וֹא reach ṯā·ḇō·w אֶל־ . . . ’el- קֶ֥בֶר the tomb qe·ḇer אֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ of your fathers . ’” ’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā 1 Kings 13:23 וַיְהִ֗י And way·hî אַחֲרֵ֛י after ’a·ḥă·rê אָכְל֥וֹ [the man of God] had finished eating ’ā·ḵə·lōw לֶ֖חֶם - le·ḥem וְאַחֲרֵ֣י and wə·’a·ḥă·rê שְׁתוֹת֑וֹ drinking , šə·ṯō·w·ṯōw לַנָּבִ֖יא the old prophet lan·nā·ḇî אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer הֱשִׁיבֽוֹ׃ had brought him back hĕ·šî·ḇōw וַיַּחֲבָשׁ־ saddled way·ya·ḥă·ḇāš- הַחֲמ֔וֹר the donkey ha·ḥă·mō·wr
