1 Kings 13:13 וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ So [the prophet] said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- בָּנָ֔יו his sons , bā·nāw חִבְשׁוּ־ “ Saddle ḥiḇ·šū- הַחֲמ֑וֹר the donkey ha·ḥă·mō·wr לִ֖י for me . ” lî וַיַּחְבְּשׁוּ־ Then they saddled way·yaḥ·bə·šū- הַחֲמ֔וֹר the donkey ha·ḥă·mō·wr ל֣וֹ for him , lōw וַיִּרְכַּ֖ב and he mounted way·yir·kaḇ עָלָֽיו׃ it ‘ā·lāw 1 Kings 13:14 וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ and went way·yê·leḵ אַֽחֲרֵי֙ after ’a·ḥă·rê אִ֣ישׁ the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיִּ֨מְצָאֵ֔הוּ He found him way·yim·ṣā·’ê·hū יֹשֵׁ֖ב sitting yō·šêḇ תַּ֣חַת under ta·ḥaṯ הָאֵלָ֑ה an oak tree hā·’ê·lāh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and asked way·yō·mer אֵלָ֗יו . . . , ’ê·lāw הַאַתָּ֧ה “ Are you ha·’at·tāh אִישׁ־ the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בָּ֥אתָ came bā·ṯā מִֽיהוּדָ֖ה from Judah ? ” mî·hū·ḏāh אָֽנִי׃ “ I [am] , ” ’ā·nî וַיֹּ֥אמֶר he replied . way·yō·mer 1 Kings 13:15 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר So [the prophet] said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֔יו to [the man of God] , ’ê·lāw לֵ֥ךְ “ Come lêḵ הַבָּ֑יְתָה home hab·bā·yə·ṯāh אִתִּ֖י with me ’it·tî וֶאֱכֹ֖ל and eat we·’ĕ·ḵōl לָֽחֶם׃ some bread . ” lā·ḥem 1 Kings 13:16 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר But [the man] replied , way·yō·mer לֹ֥א “ I cannot lō אוּכַ֛ל . . . ’ū·ḵal לָשׁ֥וּב return lā·šūḇ אִתָּ֖ךְ with you ’it·tāḵ וְלָב֣וֹא . . . wə·lā·ḇō·w אִתָּ֑ךְ - ’it·tāḵ וְלֹֽא־ - wə·lō- אֹ֣כַל or eat ’ō·ḵal לֶ֗חֶם bread le·ḥem וְלֹֽא־ . . . wə·lō- אֶשְׁתֶּ֤ה or drink ’eš·teh מַ֔יִם water ma·yim אִתְּךָ֙ with you ’it·tə·ḵā הַזֶּֽה׃ in this haz·zeh בַּמָּק֖וֹם place . bam·mā·qō·wm 1 Kings 13:17 כִּֽי־ For kî- אֵלַי֙ I ’ê·lay דָבָ֤ר have been told ḏā·ḇār בִּדְבַ֣ר by the word biḏ·ḇar יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH : Yah·weh לֹֽא־ ‘ You must not lō- תֹאכַ֣ל eat ṯō·ḵal לֶ֔חֶם bread le·ḥem וְלֹֽא־ . . . wə·lō- תִשְׁתֶּ֥ה or drink ṯiš·teh מָ֑יִם water mā·yim לֹא־ . . . lō- שָׁ֖ם there šām תָשׁ֣וּב or return ṯā·šūḇ הָלַ֥כְתָּ . . . hā·laḵ·tā בָּֽהּ׃ bāh בַּדֶּ֖רֶךְ by the way bad·de·reḵ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- לָלֶ֔כֶת you came . ’” lā·le·ḵeṯ 1 Kings 13:18 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Then [the prophet] replied way·yō·mer ל֗וֹ . . . , lōw אֲנִ֣י “ I ’ă·nî גַּם־ too [am] gam- נָבִיא֮ a prophet nā·ḇî כָּמוֹךָ֒ like you , kā·mō·w·ḵā וּמַלְאָ֡ךְ and an angel ū·mal·’āḵ דִּבֶּ֣ר spoke dib·ber אֵלַי֩ to me ’ê·lay בִּדְבַ֨ר by the word biḏ·ḇar יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH , Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֗ר saying , lê·mōr
