יַ֥עַר of the Forest ya·‘ar הַלְּבָנֽוֹן׃פ of Lebanon . hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn 1 Kings 10:18 הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ Additionally, the king ham·me·leḵ וַיַּ֧עַשׂ made way·ya·‘aś גָּד֑וֹל a great gā·ḏō·wl כִּסֵּא־ throne kis·sê- שֵׁ֖ן of ivory šên וַיְצַפֵּ֖הוּ and overlaid it way·ṣap·pê·hū מוּפָֽז׃ with pure mū·p̄āz זָהָ֥ב gold . zā·hāḇ 1 Kings 10:19 לַכִּסֵּ֗ה The throne lak·kis·sêh שֵׁ֧שׁ had six šêš מַעֲל֣וֹת steps , ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ מֵאַֽחֲרָ֔יו and its back mê·’a·ḥă·rāw לַכִּסֵּה֙ . . . lak·kis·sêh עָגֹ֤ל [had] a rounded ‘ā·ḡōl וְרֹאשׁ־ top . wə·rōš- וְיָדֹ֛ת There were armrests wə·yā·ḏōṯ וּמִזֶּ֖ה on both sides ū·miz·zeh מִזֶּ֥ה . . . miz·zeh אֶל־ of ’el- מְק֣וֹם the seat mə·qō·wm הַשָּׁ֑בֶת . . . , haš·šā·ḇeṯ וּשְׁנַ֣יִם with [a] ū·šə·na·yim אֲרָי֔וֹת lion ’ă·rā·yō·wṯ עֹמְדִ֖ים standing ‘ō·mə·ḏîm אֵ֥צֶל beside ’ê·ṣel הַיָּדֽוֹת׃ each armrest . hay·yā·ḏō·wṯ 1 Kings 10:20 וּשְׁנֵ֧ים Twelve ū·šə·nêm עָשָׂ֣ר . . . ‘ā·śār אֲרָיִ֗ים lions ’ă·rā·yîm עֹמְדִ֥ים stood ‘ō·mə·ḏîm שָׁ֛ם - šām עַל־ on ‘al- שֵׁ֥שׁ the six šêš הַֽמַּעֲל֖וֹת steps , ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ מִזֶּ֣ה one at either end miz·zeh וּמִזֶּ֑ה of each [step] . ū·miz·zeh לֹֽא־ Nothing lō- כֵ֖ן like [this] ḵên נַעֲשָׂ֥ה had ever been made na·‘ă·śāh לְכָל־ for any lə·ḵāl מַמְלָכֽוֹת׃ kingdom . mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ 1 Kings 10:21 וְ֠כֹל All wə·ḵōl הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ שְׁלֹמֹה֙ Solomon’s šə·lō·mōh מַשְׁקֵ֨ה drinking maš·qêh כְּלֵ֞י cups kə·lê זָהָ֔ב were gold , zā·hāḇ וְכֹ֗ל and all wə·ḵōl כְּלֵ֛י the utensils kə·lê בֵּֽית־ of the House bêṯ- יַ֥עַר of the Forest ya·‘ar הַלְּבָנ֖וֹן of Lebanon hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn סָג֑וּר were pure sā·ḡūr זָהָ֣ב gold . zā·hāḇ אֵ֣ין There was no ’ên כֶּ֗סֶף silver , ke·sep̄ נֶחְשָׁ֛ב because it was accounted neḥ·šāḇ לֹ֥א as nothing lō לִמְאֽוּמָה׃ . . . lim·’ū·māh בִּימֵ֥י in the days bî·mê שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה of Solomon . šə·lō·mōh 1 Kings 10:22 כִּי֩ For kî לַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ the king had lam·me·leḵ אֳנִ֨י the ships ’o·nî תַרְשִׁ֤ישׁ of Tarshish ṯar·šîš בַּיָּ֔ם at sea bay·yām עִ֖ם with ‘im חִירָ֑ם Hiram’s ḥî·rām אֳנִ֣י fleet , ’o·nî אַחַת֩ and once ’a·ḥaṯ לְשָׁלֹ֨שׁ every three years lə·šā·lōš שָׁנִ֜ים . . . šā·nîm אֳנִ֣י the ships ’o·nî תַרְשִׁ֗ישׁ of Tarshish ṯar·šîš תָּב֣וֹא׀ would arrive tā·ḇō·w נֹֽשְׂאֵת֙ bearing nō·śə·’êṯ זָהָ֣ב gold , zā·hāḇ וָכֶ֔סֶף silver , wā·ḵe·sep̄ שֶׁנְהַבִּ֥ים ivory , šen·hab·bîm וְקֹפִ֖ים apes , wə·qō·p̄îm וְתֻכִּיִּֽים׃ and peacocks . wə·ṯuk·kî·yîm
