יְהִ֨י be yə·hî עִמָּ֔נוּ with us , ‘im·mā·nū כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer הָיָ֖ה He was hā·yāh עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ our fathers . ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū אַל־ May He never ’al- יַעַזְבֵ֖נוּ leave us ya·‘az·ḇê·nū וְאַֽל־ nor wə·’al- יִטְּשֵֽׁנוּ׃ forsake us . yiṭ·ṭə·šê·nū 1 Kings 8:58 לְהַטּ֥וֹת May He incline lə·haṭ·ṭō·wṯ לְבָבֵ֖נוּ our hearts lə·ḇā·ḇê·nū אֵלָ֑יו to Himself , ’ê·lāw לָלֶ֣כֶת to walk lā·le·ḵeṯ בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl דְּרָכָ֗יו His ways də·rā·ḵāw וְלִשְׁמֹ֨ר and to keep wə·liš·mōr מִצְוֺתָ֤יו the commandments miṣ·wō·ṯāw וְחֻקָּיו֙ and statutes wə·ḥuq·qāw וּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔יו and ordinances ū·miš·pā·ṭāw אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer צִוָּ֖ה He commanded ṣiw·wāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃ our fathers . ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū 1 Kings 8:59 וְיִֽהְי֨וּ And may wə·yih·yū אֵ֗לֶּה these ’êl·leh דְבָרַ֜י words ḏə·ḇā·ray אֲשֶׁ֤ר with which ’ă·šer הִתְחַנַּ֙נְתִּי֙ I have made my petition hiṯ·ḥan·nan·tî לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh קְרֹבִ֛ים be near qə·rō·ḇîm אֶל־ . . . ’el- יְהוָ֥ה to YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū יוֹמָ֣ם day yō·w·mām וָלָ֑יְלָה and night , wā·lā·yə·lāh לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת׀ so that He may uphold la·‘ă·śō·wṯ מִשְׁפַּ֣ט the cause miš·paṭ עַבְדּ֗וֹ of His servant ‘aḇ·dōw וּמִשְׁפַּ֛ט [and] ū·miš·paṭ עַמּ֥וֹ of His people ‘am·mōw יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl י֥וֹם as each day yō·wm בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃ . . . bə·yō·w·mōw דְּבַר־ requires , də·ḇar- 1 Kings 8:60 לְמַ֗עַן so that lə·ma·‘an כָּל־ all kāl- עַמֵּ֣י the peoples ‘am·mê הָאָ֔רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ דַּ֚עַת may know da·‘aṯ כִּ֥י that kî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh ה֣וּא . . . hū הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים is God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֵ֖ין There is no ’ên עֽוֹד׃ other ! ‘ō·wḏ 1 Kings 8:61 לְבַבְכֶם֙ So let your heart lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem וְהָיָ֤ה be wə·hā·yāh שָׁלֵ֔ם fully devoted šā·lêm עִ֖ם to ‘im יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū כַּיּ֥וֹם as it is kay·yō·wm הַזֶּֽה׃ this day , haz·zeh לָלֶ֧כֶת to walk lā·le·ḵeṯ בְּחֻקָּ֛יו in His statutes bə·ḥuq·qāw וְלִשְׁמֹ֥ר and to keep wə·liš·mōr מִצְוֺתָ֖יו His commandments . ” miṣ·wō·ṯāw 1 Kings 8:62 וְֽהַמֶּ֔לֶךְ Then the king wə·ham·me·leḵ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl עִמּ֑וֹ with him ‘im·mōw זֹבְחִ֥ים offered zō·ḇə·ḥîm זֶ֖בַח sacrifices ze·ḇaḥ לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh 1 Kings 8:63 שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה And Solomon šə·lō·mōh אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ וַיִּזְבַּ֣ח offered as way·yiz·baḥ זֶ֣בַח vvv ze·ḇaḥ הַשְּׁלָמִים֮ peace offerings haš·šə·lā·mîm
