וְעֶלְי֖וֹן of the Most High wə·‘el·yō·wn יִתֵּ֥ן resounded . yit·tên 2 Samuel 22:15 וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח He shot way·yiš·laḥ חִצִּ֖ים His arrows ḥiṣ·ṣîm וַיְפִיצֵ֑ם and scattered [the foes] ; way·p̄î·ṣêm בָּרָ֖ק He hurled lightning bā·rāq וַיְהֻמֵּם׃ and routed them . way·hum·mēm 2 Samuel 22:16 אֲפִ֣קֵי The channels ’ă·p̄i·qê יָ֔ם of the sea yām וַיֵּֽרָאוּ֙ appeared , way·yê·rā·’ū מֹסְד֣וֹת [and] the foundations mō·sə·ḏō·wṯ תֵּבֵ֑ל of the world tê·ḇêl יִגָּל֖וּ were exposed yig·gā·lū בְּגַעֲרַ֣ת at the rebuke bə·ḡa·‘ă·raṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh מִנִּשְׁמַ֖ת at the blast min·niš·maṯ ר֥וּחַ of the breath rū·aḥ אַפּֽוֹ׃ of His nostrils . ’ap·pōw 2 Samuel 22:17 יִשְׁלַ֥ח He reached down yiš·laḥ מִמָּר֖וֹם from on high mim·mā·rō·wm יִקָּחֵ֑נִי and took hold of me ; yiq·qā·ḥê·nî יַֽמְשֵׁ֖נִי He drew me yam·šê·nî רַבִּֽים׃ out of deep rab·bîm מִמַּ֥יִם waters . mim·ma·yim 2 Samuel 22:18 יַצִּילֵ֕נִי He rescued me yaṣ·ṣî·lê·nî עָ֑ז from my powerful ‘āz מֵאֹיְבִ֖י enemy , mê·’ō·yə·ḇî מִשֹּׂ֣נְאַ֔י from foes miś·śō·nə·’ay כִּ֥י - kî אָמְצ֖וּ too mighty ’ā·mə·ṣū מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ for me . mim·men·nî 2 Samuel 22:19 יְקַדְּמֻ֖נִי They confronted me yə·qad·də·mu·nî בְּי֣וֹם in my day bə·yō·wm אֵידִ֑י of calamity , ’ê·ḏî יְהוָ֛ה but YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֧י was way·hî מִשְׁעָ֖ן my support miš·‘ān לִֽי׃ . lî 2 Samuel 22:20 וַיֹּצֵ֥א He brought me out way·yō·ṣê לַמֶּרְחָ֖ב into the open lam·mer·ḥāḇ אֹתִ֑י - ; ’ō·ṯî יְחַלְּצֵ֖נִי He rescued me yə·ḥal·lə·ṣê·nî כִּי־ because kî- חָ֥פֵֽץ He delighted ḥā·p̄êṣ בִּֽי׃ in me . bî 2 Samuel 22:21 יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh יִגְמְלֵ֥נִי has rewarded me yiḡ·mə·lê·nî כְּצִדְקָתִ֑י according to my righteousness ; kə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯî יָשִׁ֥יב He has repaid yā·šîḇ לִֽי׃ me lî כְּבֹ֥ר according to the cleanness kə·ḇōr יָדַ֖י of my hands . yā·ḏay 2 Samuel 22:22 כִּ֥י For kî שָׁמַ֖רְתִּי I have kept šā·mar·tî דַּרְכֵ֣י the ways dar·ḵê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְלֹ֥א and have not wə·lō רָשַׁ֖עְתִּי wickedly departed rā·ša‘·tî מֵאֱלֹהָֽי׃ from my God . mê·’ĕ·lō·hāy 2 Samuel 22:23 כִּ֥י For kî כָל־ all ḵāl מִשְׁפָּטוֹ His ordinances [are] miš·på̄·ṭō לְנֶגְדִּ֑י before me ; lə·neḡ·dî לֹא־ I have not lō- אָס֥וּר disregarded ’ā·sūr מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ . . . mim·men·nāh וְחֻקֹּתָ֖יו His statutes . wə·ḥuq·qō·ṯāw 2 Samuel 22:24 וָאֶהְיֶ֥ה And I wā·’eh·yeh תָמִ֖ים have been blameless ṯā·mîm ל֑וֹ before Him lōw
