Judges 16:29 שִׁמְשׁ֜וֹן And Samson šim·šō·wn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּלְפֹּ֨ת reached out way·yil·pōṯ שְׁנֵ֣י׀ for the two šə·nê הַתָּ֗וֶךְ central hat·tā·weḵ אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer עַמּוּדֵ֣י pillars ‘am·mū·ḏê נָכ֣וֹן supporting nā·ḵō·wn הַבַּ֙יִת֙ the temple . hab·ba·yiṯ וַיִּסָּמֵ֖ךְ Bracing himself way·yis·sā·mêḵ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם . . . ‘ă·lê·hem עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם against them ‘ă·lê·hem בִּימִינ֖וֹ with his right hand bî·mî·nōw אֶחָ֥ד on one [pillar] ’e·ḥāḏ בִּשְׂמֹאלֽוֹ׃ and his left hand biś·mō·lōw וְאֶחָ֥ד on the other , wə·’e·ḥāḏ Judges 16:30 שִׁמְשׁ֗וֹן Samson šim·šō·wn וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said , way·yō·mer נַפְשִׁי֮ “ Let me nap̄·šî תָּמ֣וֹת die tā·mō·wṯ עִם־ with ‘im- פְּלִשְׁתִּים֒ the Philistines . ” pə·liš·tîm וַיֵּ֣ט Then he pushed way·yêṭ בְּכֹ֔חַ with all his might , bə·ḵō·aḥ הַבַּ֙יִת֙ and the temple hab·ba·yiṯ וַיִּפֹּ֤ל fell way·yip·pōl עַל־ on ‘al- הַסְּרָנִ֔ים the lords has·sə·rā·nîm וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעָ֖ם the people in it . hā·‘ām בְּמוֹת֔וֹ So in his death bə·mō·w·ṯōw הַמֵּתִים֙ vvv ham·mê·ṯîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר vvv ’ă·šer הֵמִ֣ית he killed hê·mîṯ רַבִּ֕ים more rab·bîm מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר than mê·’ă·šer אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- בּ֑וֹ bōw וַיִּהְי֤וּ way·yih·yū הֵמִ֖ית he had killed hê·mîṯ בְּחַיָּֽיו׃ in his life . bə·ḥay·yāw Judges 16:31 אֶחָ֜יו Then [Samson’s] brothers ’e·ḥāw וְכָל־ . . . wə·ḵāl אָבִיהוּ֮ and his father’s ’ā·ḇî·hū וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ . . . way·yiś·’ū אֹתוֹ֒ - ’ō·ṯōw בֵּ֣ית family bêṯ וַיֵּרְד֨וּ came down , way·yê·rə·ḏū וַֽיַּעֲל֣וּ׀ carried him back , way·ya·‘ă·lū וַיִּקְבְּר֣וּ and buried way·yiq·bə·rū אוֹת֗וֹ him ’ō·w·ṯōw בֵּ֤ין between bên צָרְעָה֙ Zorah ṣā·rə·‘āh וּבֵ֣ין . . . ū·ḇên אֶשְׁתָּאֹ֔ל and Eshtaol ’eš·tā·’ōl בְּקֶ֖בֶר in the tomb bə·qe·ḇer אָבִ֑יו of his father ’ā·ḇîw מָנ֣וֹחַ Manoah . mā·nō·w·aḥ וְה֛וּא And he wə·hū שָׁפַ֥ט had judged šā·p̄aṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl עֶשְׂרִ֥ים twenty ‘eś·rîm שָׁנָֽה׃פ years . šā·nāh Judges 17:1 וַֽיְהִי־ Now way·hî- אִ֥ישׁ a man ’îš וּשְׁמ֥וֹ named ū·šə·mōw מִיכָֽיְהוּ׃ Micah mî·ḵā·yə·hū מֵֽהַר־ from the hill country mê·har- אֶפְרָ֖יִם of Ephraim ’ep̄·rā·yim Judges 17:2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said way·yō·mer לְאִמּ֡וֹ to his mother , lə·’im·mōw אֶלֶף֩ “ The eleven ’e·lep̄ וּמֵאָ֨ה hundred [shekels] ū·mê·’āh הַכֶּ֜סֶף of silver hak·ke·sep̄ אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer לֻֽקַּֽח־ were taken luq·qaḥ- לָ֗ךְ from you lāḵ וְגַם֙ and wə·ḡam בְּאָזְנַ֔י about which I heard bə·’ā·zə·nay וְאַתִּי you wə·ʾat·tī אָמַ֣רְתְּ utter ’ā·mart אָלִית֙ a curse — ’ā·lîṯ הִנֵּֽה־ I have hin·nêh- הַכֶּ֥סֶף the silver {here} hak·ke·sep̄ אִתִּ֖י with me ; ’it·tî אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî
