וְלֹא־ would not wə·lō- הֶאֱמִ֨ין trust he·’ĕ·mîn יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yiś·rā·’êl עֲבֹ֣ר to pass ‘ă·ḇōr בִּגְבֻל֔וֹ through his territory . biḡ·ḇu·lōw סִיחוֹן֙ So [he] sî·ḥō·wn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיֶּאֱסֹ֤ף gathered way·ye·’ĕ·sōp̄ כָּל־ all kāl- עַמּ֔וֹ his people , ‘am·mōw וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ encamped way·ya·ḥă·nū בְּיָ֑הְצָה in Jahaz , bə·yā·hə·ṣāh וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם and fought way·yil·lā·ḥem עִם־ with ‘im- יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Judges 11:21 יְהוָ֨ה Then YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽי־ the God ’ĕ·lō·hê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַ֠יִּתֵּן delivered way·yit·tên סִיח֧וֹן Sihon sî·ḥō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ and all kāl- עַמּ֛וֹ his people ‘am·mōw בְּיַ֥ד into the hand bə·yaḏ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וַיַּכּ֑וּם who defeated them . way·yak·kūm יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל So Israel yiś·rā·’êl אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ וַיִּירַשׁ֙ took possession of way·yî·raš כָּל־ all kāl- אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ הָאֱמֹרִ֔י of the Amorites hā·’ĕ·mō·rî יוֹשֵׁ֖ב who inhabited yō·wō·šêḇ הַהִֽיא׃ that ha·hî הָאָ֥רֶץ country , hā·’ā·reṣ Judges 11:22 וַיִּ֣ירְשׁ֔וּ seizing way·yî·rə·šū אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- גְּב֣וּל the land gə·ḇūl הָאֱמֹרִ֑י . . . hā·’ĕ·mō·rî וּמִן־ from ū·min- מֵֽאַרְנוֹן֙ the Arnon mê·’ar·nō·wn וְעַד־ to wə·‘aḏ- הַיַּבֹּ֔ק the Jabbok hay·yab·bōq הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר and from the wilderness ham·miḏ·bār וְעַד־ to wə·‘aḏ- הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ the Jordan . hay·yar·dên Judges 11:23 וְעַתָּ֞ה Now since wə·‘at·tāh יְהוָ֣ה׀ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הוֹרִישׁ֙ has driven out hō·w·rîš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י the Amorites hā·’ĕ·mō·rî מִפְּנֵ֖י from before mip·pə·nê עַמּ֣וֹ His people ‘am·mōw יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְאַתָּ֖ה should you now wə·’at·tāh תִּירָשֶֽׁנּוּ׃ possess it ? tî·rā·šen·nū Judges 11:24 הֲלֹ֞א Do you not hă·lō אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ יוֹרִֽישְׁךָ֛ possess yō·w·rî·šə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֧ר whatever ’ă·šer אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your god ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā אוֹת֥וֹ - ’ō·w·ṯōw כְּמ֥וֹשׁ Chemosh kə·mō·wōš תִירָ֑שׁ grants you ? ṯî·rāš וְאֵת֩ So also , wə·’êṯ הוֹרִ֜ישׁ we possess hō·w·rîš כָּל־ whatever kāl- אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū נִירָֽשׁ׃ has granted nî·rāš מִפָּנֵ֖ינוּ us . mip·pā·nê·nū אוֹת֥וֹ - ’ō·w·ṯōw Judges 11:25 אַתָּ֔ה Are you ’at·tāh וְעַתָּ֗ה now wə·‘at·tāh הֲט֥וֹב so much hă·ṭō·wḇ טוֹב֙ better ṭō·wḇ מִבָּלָ֥ק than Balak mib·bā·lāq בֶּן־ son ben- צִפּ֖וֹר of Zippor , ṣip·pō·wr מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ
