אֱלֹהִ֖ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm הֵשִׁ֥יב also brought hê·šîḇ כָּל־ all kāl- רָעַת֙ the wickedness rā·‘aṯ אַנְשֵׁ֣י of the men ’an·šê שְׁכֶ֔ם of Shechem šə·ḵem בְּרֹאשָׁ֑ם {back} upon their own heads . bə·rō·šām קִֽלֲלַ֖ת So the curse qi·lă·laṯ יוֹתָ֥ם of Jotham yō·w·ṯām בֶּן־ son ben- יְרֻבָּֽעַל׃פ of Jerubbaal yə·rub·bā·‘al וַתָּבֹ֣א came wat·tā·ḇō אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם upon them . ’ă·lê·hem Judges 10:1 אַחֲרֵ֨י After the time ’a·ḥă·rê אֲבִימֶ֜לֶךְ of Abimelech , ’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ אִ֣ישׁ a man ’îš יִשָּׂשכָ֑ר of Issachar , yiś·śā·š·ḵār תּוֹלָ֧ע Tola tō·w·lā‘ בֶּן־ son ben- פּוּאָ֛ה of Puah , pū·’āh בֶּן־ the son ben- דּוֹד֖וֹ of Dodo , dō·w·ḏōw וַיָּקָם֩ rose up way·yā·qām לְהוֹשִׁ֣יעַ to save lə·hō·wō·šî·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְהֽוּא־ . wə·hū- יֹשֵׁ֥ב He lived yō·šêḇ בְּשָׁמִ֖יר in Shamir , bə·šā·mîr בְּהַ֥ר in the hill country bə·har אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ of Ephraim . ’ep̄·rā·yim Judges 10:2 וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ Tola judged way·yiš·pōṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl עֶשְׂרִ֥ים twenty-three ‘eś·rîm וְשָׁלֹ֖שׁ . . . wə·šā·lōš שָׁנָ֑ה years , šā·nāh וַיָּ֖מָת and when he died , way·yā·māṯ וַיִּקָּבֵ֥ר he was buried way·yiq·qā·ḇêr בְּשָׁמִֽיר׃פ in Shamir . bə·šā·mîr Judges 10:3 אַחֲרָ֔יו [Tola] ’a·ḥă·rāw וַיָּ֣קָם was followed by way·yā·qām יָאִ֖יר Jair yā·’îr הַגִּלְעָדִ֑י the Gileadite , hag·gil·‘ā·ḏî וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ who judged way·yiš·pōṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl עֶשְׂרִ֥ים twenty-two ‘eś·rîm וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם . . . ū·šə·ta·yim שָׁנָֽה׃ years . šā·nāh Judges 10:4 וַֽיְהִי־ He had way·hî- ל֞וֹ lōw שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים thirty šə·lō·šîm בָּנִ֗ים sons bā·nîm רֹֽכְבִים֙ who rode rō·ḵə·ḇîm עַל־ on ‘al- שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים thirty šə·lō·šîm עֲיָרִ֔ים donkeys . ‘ă·yā·rîm לָהֶ֑ם And they had lā·hem וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים thirty ū·šə·lō·šîm עֲיָרִ֖ים towns ‘ă·yā·rîm לָהֶ֞ם - lā·hem אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ הַגִּלְעָֽד׃ of Gilead , hag·gil·‘āḏ עַ֚ד which to ‘aḏ הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day hay·yō·wm יִקְרְא֣וּ׀ are called yiq·rə·’ū חַוֺּ֣ת vvv ḥaw·wōṯ יָאִ֗יר Havvoth-jair . yā·’îr Judges 10:5 יָאִ֔יר When Jair yā·’îr וַיָּ֣מָת died , way·yā·māṯ וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר he was buried way·yiq·qā·ḇêr בְּקָמֽוֹן׃פ in Kamon . bə·qā·mō·wn Judges 10:6 וַיֹּסִ֣פוּ׀ And again way·yō·si·p̄ū בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת did la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הָרַע֮ evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָה֒ of YHWH .
