וַיֵּלְכ֧וּ went out way·yê·lə·ḵū לָרֶ֥שֶׁת to take possession of lā·re·šeṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the land , hā·’ā·reṣ אִ֥ישׁ each ’îš לְנַחֲלָת֖וֹ to his own inheritance . lə·na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw Judges 2:7 הָעָם֙ And the people hā·‘ām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּעַבְד֤וּ served way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏū יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh כֹּ֖ל throughout kōl יְמֵ֣י the days yə·mê יְהוֹשֻׁ֑עַ of Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ וְכֹ֣ל׀ [and] wə·ḵōl יְמֵ֣י - yə·mê הַזְּקֵנִ֗ים of the elders haz·zə·qê·nîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר who ’ă·šer הֶאֱרִ֤יכוּ outlived he·’ĕ·rî·ḵū יָמִים֙ . . . yā·mîm אַחֲרֵ֣י . . . ’a·ḥă·rê יְהוֹשׁ֔וּעַ [him] , yə·hō·wō·šū·a‘ אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer רָא֗וּ had seen rā·’ū אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הַגָּד֔וֹל the great hag·gā·ḏō·wl מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה works ma·‘ă·śêh אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh עָשָׂ֖ה had done ‘ā·śāh לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ for Israel . lə·yiś·rā·’êl Judges 2:8 יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ And Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נ֖וּן of Nun , nūn עֶ֣בֶד the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וַיָּ֛מָת died way·yā·māṯ בֶּן־ at the age ben- שָׁנִֽים׃ . . . šā·nîm מֵאָ֥ה of 110 mê·’āh וָעֶ֖שֶׂר . . . . wā·‘e·śer Judges 2:9 וַיִּקְבְּר֤וּ They buried way·yiq·bə·rū אוֹתוֹ֙ him ’ō·w·ṯōw בִּגְב֣וּל in the land biḡ·ḇūl נַחֲלָת֔וֹ of his inheritance , na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw בְּתִמְנַת־ vvv bə·ṯim·naṯ- חֶ֖רֶס at Timnath-heres ḥe·res בְּהַ֣ר in the hill country bə·har אֶפְרָ֑יִם of Ephraim , ’ep̄·rā·yim מִצְּפ֖וֹן north miṣ·ṣə·p̄ō·wn לְהַר־ of Mount lə·har- גָּֽעַשׁ׃ Gaash . gā·‘aš Judges 2:10 אַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם After that ’a·ḥă·rê·hem כָּל־ whole kāl- הַדּ֣וֹר generation had·dō·wr הַה֔וּא - ha·hū וְגַם֙ had also wə·ḡam נֶאֶסְפ֖וּ been gathered ne·’es·p̄ū אֶל־ to ’el- אֲבוֹתָ֑יו their fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯāw אַחֵ֜ר another ’a·ḥêr דּ֨וֹר generation dō·wr וַיָּקָם֩ rose up way·yā·qām אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer לֹא־ did not lō- יָֽדְעוּ֙ know yā·ḏə·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh וְגַם֙ or wə·ḡam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה the works ham·ma·‘ă·śeh אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֖ה He had done ‘ā·śāh לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס for Israel . lə·yiś·rā·’êl Judges 2:11 בְנֵֽי־ And the Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּעֲשׂ֧וּ did way·ya·‘ă·śū הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּעַבְד֖וּ and served way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבְּעָלִֽים׃ the Baals . hab·bə·‘ā·lîm
