Joshua 21:43 יְהוָה֙ Thus YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּתֵּ֤ן gave way·yit·tên לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel lə·yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer נִשְׁבַּ֖ע He had sworn niš·ba‘ לָתֵ֣ת to give lā·ṯêṯ לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם their fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām וַיִּרָשׁ֖וּהָ and they took possession of it way·yi·rā·šū·hā וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּ and settled way·yê·šə·ḇū בָֽהּ׃ in it . ḇāh Joshua 21:44 יְהוָ֤ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיָּ֨נַח gave them rest way·yā·naḥ לָהֶם֙ . . . lā·hem מִסָּבִ֔יב on every side , mis·sā·ḇîḇ כְּכֹ֥ל just as kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- נִשְׁבַּ֖ע He had sworn niš·ba‘ לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם to their fathers . la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām וְלֹא־ None wə·lō- אִ֤ישׁ . . . ’îš אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם of their enemies ’ō·yə·ḇê·hem אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ - kāl- עָ֨מַד could stand ‘ā·maḏ בִּפְנֵיהֶם֙ against them , bip̄·nê·hem יְהוָ֖ה for YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֥ן delivered nā·ṯan מִכָּל־ all mik·kāl אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם their enemies ’ō·yə·ḇê·hem בְּיָדָֽם׃ into their hand . bə·yā·ḏām Joshua 21:45 לֹֽא־ Not one lō- מִכֹּל֙ of all mik·kōl הַדָּבָ֣ר . . . had·dā·ḇār יְהוָ֖ה YHWH’s Yah·weh הַטּ֔וֹב good haṭ·ṭō·wḇ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- דָּבָ֔ר promises dā·ḇār דִּבֶּ֥ר - dib·ber אֶל־ to ’el- בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl נָפַ֣ל had failed ; nā·p̄al הַכֹּ֖ל everything hak·kōl בָּֽא׃פ was fulfilled . bā Joshua 22:1 אָ֚ז Then ’āz יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ יִקְרָ֣א summoned yiq·rā לָרֽאוּבֵנִ֖י the Reubenites , lā·r·’ū·ḇê·nî וְלַגָּדִ֑י the Gadites , wə·lag·gā·ḏî וְלַחֲצִ֖י and the half-tribe wə·la·ḥă·ṣî מַטֵּ֥ה . . . maṭ·ṭêh מְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ of Manasseh mə·naš·šeh Joshua 22:2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and told them , way·yō·mer אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem אַתֶּ֣ם “ You ’at·tem שְׁמַרְתֶּ֔ם have done šə·mar·tem אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh עֶ֣בֶד the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֣ה commanded ṣiw·wāh אֶתְכֶ֔ם you , ’eṯ·ḵem וַתִּשְׁמְע֣וּ and you have obeyed wat·tiš·mə·‘ū בְקוֹלִ֔י my voice ḇə·qō·w·lî לְכֹ֥ל in all lə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- צִוִּ֖יתִי I commanded ṣiw·wî·ṯî אֶתְכֶֽם׃ you . ’eṯ·ḵem Joshua 22:3 יָמִ֣ים All this time yā·mîm רַבִּ֔ים . . . rab·bîm זֶ֚ה . . . zeh לֹֽא־ you have not lō- עֲזַבְתֶּ֣ם deserted ‘ă·zaḇ·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲחֵיכֶ֗ם your brothers , ’ă·ḥê·ḵem עַ֖ד up to ‘aḏ הַיּ֣וֹם this very day hay·yō·wm הַזֶּ֑ה . . . , haz·zeh וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֕ם but have kept ū·šə·mar·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
