אֶל־ to ’el- גְּב֣וּל the border gə·ḇūl הַיַּפְלֵטִ֗י of the Japhletites hay·yap̄·lê·ṭî עַ֣ד as ‘aḏ גְּב֧וּל far as the border gə·ḇūl בֵּית־ of bêṯ- תַּחְתּ֖וֹן Lower taḥ·tō·wn חוֹרֹ֛ן Beth-horon ḥō·w·rōn וְעַד־ and on to wə·‘aḏ- גָּ֑זֶר Gezer , gā·zer וְהָי֥וּ and it ended wə·hā·yū תֹצְאֹתוֹ . . . ṯō·ṣə·ʾō·ṯō יָֽמָּה׃ at the Sea . yām·māh Joshua 16:4 וְאֶפְרָֽיִם׃ So Ephraim wə·’ep̄·rā·yim מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה and Manasseh , mə·naš·šeh בְנֵי־ the sons ḇə·nê- יוֹסֵ֖ף of Joseph , yō·w·sêp̄ וַיִּנְחֲל֥וּ received their inheritance . way·yin·ḥă·lū Joshua 16:5 וַיְהִ֛י This was way·hî גְּב֥וּל the territory gə·ḇūl בְּנֵֽי־ of the descendants bə·nê- אֶפְרַ֖יִם of Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם by their clans : lə·miš·pə·ḥō·ṯām וַיְהִ֞י . . . way·hî גְּב֤וּל The border gə·ḇūl נַחֲלָתָם֙ of their inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯām אַדָּ֔ר went from Ataroth-addar ’ad·dār עַד־ . . . ‘aḏ- בֵּ֥ית bêṯ מִזְרָ֔חָה in the east miz·rā·ḥāh עַטְר֣וֹת ‘aṭ·rō·wṯ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ to Upper ‘el·yō·wn חוֹרֹ֖ן Beth-horon ḥō·w·rōn Joshua 16:6 וְיָצָ֨א and out toward wə·yā·ṣā הַגְּב֜וּל - hag·gə·ḇūl הַיָּ֗מָּה the Sea . hay·yām·māh הַֽמִּכְמְתָת֙ From Michmethath ham·miḵ·mə·ṯāṯ מִצָּפ֔וֹן on the north miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn הַגְּב֛וּל it hag·gə·ḇūl וְנָסַ֧ב turned wə·nā·saḇ מִזְרָ֖חָה eastward miz·rā·ḥāh תַּאֲנַ֣ת vvv ta·’ă·naṯ שִׁלֹ֑ה toward Taanath-shiloh ši·lōh וְעָבַ֣ר and passed by wə·‘ā·ḇar אוֹת֔וֹ it ’ō·w·ṯōw יָנֽוֹחָה׃ to Janoah yā·nō·w·ḥāh מִמִּזְרַ֖ח on the east . mim·miz·raḥ Joshua 16:7 מִיָּנ֖וֹחָה From Janoah mî·yā·nō·w·ḥāh וְיָרַ֥ד it went down wə·yā·raḏ עֲטָר֣וֹת to Ataroth ‘ă·ṭā·rō·wṯ וְנַעֲרָ֑תָה and Naarah , wə·na·‘ă·rā·ṯāh וּפָגַע֙ and then reached ū·p̄ā·ḡa‘ בִּֽירִיח֔וֹ Jericho bî·rî·ḥōw וְיָצָ֖א and came out wə·yā·ṣā הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ at the Jordan . hay·yar·dên Joshua 16:8 מִתַּפּ֜וּחַ From Tappuah mit·tap·pū·aḥ הַגְּב֥וּל the border hag·gə·ḇūl יֵלֵ֨ךְ went yê·lêḵ יָ֙מָּה֙ westward yām·māh נַ֣חַל to the Brook na·ḥal קָנָ֔ה of Kanah qā·nāh וְהָי֥וּ and ended wə·hā·yū תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו . . . ṯō·ṣə·’ō·ṯāw הַיָּ֑מָּה at the Sea . hay·yām·māh זֹ֗את This zōṯ נַחֲלַ֛ת was the inheritance na·ḥă·laṯ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ of the clans lə·miš·pə·ḥō·ṯām מַטֵּ֥ה of the tribe maṭ·ṭêh בְנֵי־ vvv ḇə·nê- אֶפְרַ֖יִם of Ephraim , ’ep̄·ra·yim Joshua 16:9 וְהֶעָרִ֗ים - wə·he·‘ā·rîm כָּֽל־ [along] with all kāl- הֶעָרִ֖ים the cities he·‘ā·rîm וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃ and villages wə·ḥaṣ·rê·hen הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת֙ set apart ham·miḇ·dā·lō·wṯ לִבְנֵ֣י for the descendants liḇ·nê אֶפְרַ֔יִם of Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim בְּת֖וֹךְ within bə·ṯō·wḵ נַחֲלַ֣ת the inheritance na·ḥă·laṯ בְּנֵֽי־ vvv bə·nê- מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה of Manasseh . mə·naš·šeh
