בֵּֽית־ vvv bêṯ- צ֖וּר Beth-zur , ṣūr וּגְדֽוֹר׃ Gedor , ū·ḡə·ḏō·wr Joshua 15:59 וּמַעֲרָ֥ת Maarath , ū·ma·‘ă·rāṯ וּבֵית־ vvv ū·ḇêṯ- עֲנ֖וֹת Beth-anoth , ‘ă·nō·wṯ וְאֶלְתְּקֹ֑ן and Eltekon — wə·’el·tə·qōn שֵׁ֖שׁ six šêš עָרִ֥ים cities , ‘ā·rîm וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃ along with their villages . wə·ḥaṣ·rê·hen Joshua 15:60 קִרְיַת־ vvv qir·yaṯ- בַּ֗עַל Kiriath-baal ba·‘al הִ֛יא (that is , hî קִרְיַ֥ת vvv qir·yaṯ יְעָרִ֖ים Kiriath-jearim ), yə·‘ā·rîm וְהָֽרַבָּ֑ה and Rabbah — wə·hā·rab·bāh שְׁתַּ֖יִם two šə·ta·yim עָרִ֥ים cities , ‘ā·rîm וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃ס along with their villages . wə·ḥaṣ·rê·hen Joshua 15:61 בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר [These were] in the wilderness : bam·miḏ·bār בֵּ֚ית vvv bêṯ הָעֲרָבָ֔ה Beth-arabah , hā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh מִדִּ֖ין Middin , mid·dîn וּסְכָכָֽה׃ Secacah , ū·sə·ḵā·ḵāh Joshua 15:62 וְהַנִּבְשָׁ֥ן Nibshan , wə·han·niḇ·šān וְעִיר־ vvv wə·‘îr- הַמֶּ֖לַח the City of Salt , ham·me·laḥ וְעֵ֣ין vvv wə·‘ên גֶּ֑דִי and En-gedi — ge·ḏî שֵׁ֖שׁ six šêš עָרִ֥ים cities , ‘ā·rîm וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃ along with their villages . wə·ḥaṣ·rê·hen Joshua 15:63 בְנֵֽי־ But the descendants ḇə·nê- יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh יוּכְלוּ could yū·ḵə·lū לֹֽא־ not lō- לְהֽוֹרִישָׁ֑ם drive out lə·hō·w·rî·šām וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַיְבוּסִי֙ the Jebusites hay·ḇū·sî יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י living yō·wō·šə·ḇê יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם in Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim עַ֖ד So to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃פ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day hay·yō·wm הַיְבוּסִ֜י the Jebusites hay·ḇū·sî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב live way·yê·šeḇ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם [there] bî·rū·šā·lim בְּנֵ֤י among the descendants bə·nê יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh Joshua 16:1 הַגּוֹרָ֜ל The allotment hag·gō·w·rāl לִבְנֵ֤י for the descendants liḇ·nê יוֹסֵף֙ of Joseph yō·w·sêp̄ וַיֵּצֵ֨א extended way·yê·ṣê מִיַּרְדֵּ֣ן from the Jordan mî·yar·dên יְרִיח֔וֹ at Jericho yə·rî·ḥōw לְמֵ֥י to the waters lə·mê יְרִיח֖וֹ of Jericho yə·rî·ḥōw מִזְרָ֑חָה on the east , miz·rā·ḥāh הַמִּדְבָּ֗ר through the wilderness ham·miḏ·bār עֹלֶ֧ה that goes up ‘ō·leh מִירִיח֛וֹ from Jericho mî·rî·ḥōw בָּהָ֖ר into the hill country bā·hār בֵּֽית־ vvv bêṯ- אֵֽל׃ of Bethel . ’êl Joshua 16:2 וְיָצָ֥א It went on wə·yā·ṣā מִבֵּֽית־ from mib·bêṯ- אֵ֖ל Bethel ’êl ל֑וּזָה ([that is,] Luz ) lū·zāh וְעָבַ֛ר and proceeded wə·‘ā·ḇar אֶל־ to ’el- גְּב֥וּל the border gə·ḇūl הָאַרְכִּ֖י of the Archites hā·’ar·kî עֲטָרֽוֹת׃ in Ataroth . ‘ă·ṭā·rō·wṯ Joshua 16:3 וְיָֽרַד־ Then it descended wə·yā·raḏ- יָ֜מָּה westward yām·māh
