הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פָּצְתָ֤ה opened pā·ṣə·ṯāh פִּ֔יהָ its mouth pî·hā וַתִּבְלָעֵ֥ם and swallowed them , wat·tiḇ·lā·‘êm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בָּתֵּיהֶ֖ם their households , bāt·tê·hem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אָהֳלֵיהֶ֑ם their tents , ’ā·ho·lê·hem וְאֵ֤ת and wə·’êṯ כָּל־ every kāl- הַיְקוּם֙ living thing hay·qūm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בְּרַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם that belonged to them . bə·raḡ·lê·hem Deuteronomy 11:7 כִּ֤י For [it is] kî עֵֽינֵיכֶם֙ your own eyes ‘ê·nê·ḵem הָֽרֹאֹ֔ת [that] have seen hā·rō·’ōṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ every kāl- הַגָּדֹ֑ל great hag·gā·ḏōl מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה work ma·‘ă·śêh אֲשֶׁ֖ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh עָשָֽׂה׃ has done . ‘ā·śāh Deuteronomy 11:8 וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙ You shall therefore keep ū·šə·mar·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ every kāl- הַמִּצְוָ֔ה commandment ham·miṣ·wāh אֲשֶׁ֛ר - ’ă·šer אָנֹכִ֥י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְצַוְּךָ֖ am giving you today mə·ṣaw·wə·ḵā הַיּ֑וֹם . . . , hay·yō·wm לְמַ֣עַן so that lə·ma·‘an תֶּחֶזְק֗וּ you may have the strength te·ḥez·qū וּבָאתֶם֙ to go in ū·ḇā·ṯem וִֽירִשְׁתֶּ֣ם and possess wî·riš·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer אַתֶּ֛ם you ’at·tem עֹבְרִ֥ים are crossing ‘ō·ḇə·rîm שָׁ֖מָּה [the Jordan] šām·māh לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ to possess , lə·riš·tāh Deuteronomy 11:9 וּלְמַ֨עַן and so that ū·lə·ma·‘an תַּאֲרִ֤יכוּ you may live long ta·’ă·rî·ḵū יָמִים֙ . . . yā·mîm עַל־ in ‘al- הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה the land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר֩ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh נִשְׁבַּ֨ע swore niš·ba‘ לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֛ם to your fathers la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem לָתֵ֥ת to give lā·ṯêṯ לָהֶ֖ם them lā·hem וּלְזַרְעָ֑ם and their descendants , ū·lə·zar·‘ām אֶ֛רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ זָבַ֥ת flowing zā·ḇaṯ חָלָ֖ב with milk ḥā·lāḇ וּדְבָֽשׁ׃ס and honey . ū·ḏə·ḇāš Deuteronomy 11:10 כִּ֣י For kî הָאָ֗רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer אַתָּ֤ה you ’at·tāh בָא־ are entering ḇā- שָׁ֙מָּה֙ . . . šām·māh לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ to possess lə·riš·tāh לֹ֣א is not lō כְאֶ֤רֶץ like the land ḵə·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim הִ֔וא from which hî יְצָאתֶ֖ם you have come , yə·ṣā·ṯem מִשָּׁ֑ם . . . miš·šām אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer אֲשֶׁ֥ר where ’ă·šer תִּזְרַע֙ you sowed tiz·ra‘ אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- זַרְעֲךָ֔ your seed zar·‘ă·ḵā וְהִשְׁקִ֥יתָ and irrigated wə·hiš·qî·ṯā בְרַגְלְךָ֖ on foot , ḇə·raḡ·lə·ḵā הַיָּרָֽק׃ like a vegetable hay·yā·rāq כְּגַ֥ן garden . kə·ḡan Deuteronomy 11:11 וְהָאָ֗רֶץ But the land wə·hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer אַתֶּ֜ם you ’at·tem עֹבְרִ֥ים are crossing ‘ō·ḇə·rîm
