Deuteronomy 2:21 עַ֣ם [They were] a people ‘am גָּד֥וֹל great gā·ḏō·wl וְרַ֛ב and many , wə·raḇ וָרָ֖ם as tall wā·rām כָּעֲנָקִ֑ים as the Anakites . kā·‘ă·nā·qîm יְהוָה֙ But YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּשְׁמִידֵ֤ם destroyed them way·yaš·mî·ḏêm מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם from before [the Ammonites] , mip·pə·nê·hem וַיִּירָשֻׁ֖ם who drove them out way·yî·rā·šum וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ and settled way·yê·šə·ḇū תַחְתָּֽם׃ in their place , ṯaḥ·tām Deuteronomy 2:22 כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר just as ka·’ă·šer עָשָׂה֙ He had done ‘ā·śāh לִבְנֵ֣י for the descendants liḇ·nê עֵשָׂ֔ו of Esau ‘ê·śāw הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים who lived hay·yō·šə·ḇîm בְּשֵׂעִ֑יר in Seir , bə·śê·‘îr אֲשֶׁ֨ר when ’ă·šer הִשְׁמִ֤יד He destroyed hiš·mîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַחֹרִי֙ the Horites ha·ḥō·rî מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם from before them . mip·pə·nê·hem וַיִּֽירָשֻׁם֙ They drove them out way·yî·rā·šum וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ and have lived way·yê·šə·ḇū תַחְתָּ֔ם in their place ṯaḥ·tām עַ֖ד to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day . hay·yō·wm Deuteronomy 2:23 וְהָֽעַוִּ֛ים And the Avvim , wə·hā·‘aw·wîm הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים who lived hay·yō·šə·ḇîm בַּחֲצֵרִ֖ים in villages ba·ḥă·ṣê·rîm עַד־ as ‘aḏ- עַזָּ֑ה far as Gaza , ‘az·zāh הִשְׁמִידֻ֖ם were destroyed by hiš·mî·ḏum כַּפְתֹּרִים֙ the Caphtorites , kap̄·tō·rîm הַיֹּצְאִ֣ים who came hay·yō·ṣə·’îm מִכַּפְתּ֔וֹר out of Caphtor mik·kap̄·tō·wr וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ and settled way·yê·šə·ḇū תַחְתָּֽם׃ in their place . ) ṯaḥ·tām Deuteronomy 2:24 ק֣וּמוּ “ Arise , qū·mū סְּע֗וּ set out , sə·‘ū וְעִבְרוּ֮ and cross wə·‘iḇ·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַרְנֹן֒ the Arnon ’ar·nōn נַ֣חַל Valley . na·ḥal רְאֵ֣ה See , rə·’êh נָתַ֣תִּי I have delivered nā·ṯat·tî בְ֠יָדְךָ into your hand ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā סִיחֹ֨ן Sihon sî·ḥōn הָֽאֱמֹרִ֛י the Amorite , hā·’ĕ·mō·rî וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- חֶשְׁבּ֧וֹן of Heshbon , ḥeš·bō·wn אַרְצ֖וֹ and his land . ’ar·ṣōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָחֵ֣ל Begin hā·ḥêl רָ֑שׁ to take possession of it rāš וְהִתְגָּ֥ר and engage wə·hiṯ·gār בּ֖וֹ him bōw מִלְחָמָֽה׃ in battle . mil·ḥā·māh Deuteronomy 2:25 הַזֶּ֗ה This very haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day hay·yō·wm אָחֵל֙ I will begin ’ā·ḥêl תֵּ֤ת to put têṯ פַּחְדְּךָ֙ the dread paḥ·də·ḵā וְיִרְאָ֣תְךָ֔ and fear wə·yir·’ā·ṯə·ḵā עַל־ of you ‘al- כָּל־ upon all kāl- פְּנֵי֙ vvv pə·nê הָֽעַמִּ֔ים the nations hā·‘am·mîm תַּ֖חַת under ta·ḥaṯ הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם heaven . haš·šā·mā·yim אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer יִשְׁמְעוּן֙ They will hear yiš·mə·‘ūn שִׁמְעֲךָ֔ the reports of you šim·‘ă·ḵā וְרָגְז֥וּ and tremble wə·rā·ḡə·zū וְחָל֖וּ in anguish wə·ḥā·lū מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃ because of you . ” mip·pā·ne·ḵā Deuteronomy 2:26 מִמִּדְבַּ֣ר So from the Wilderness mim·miḏ·bar קְדֵמ֔וֹת of Kedemoth qə·ḏê·mō·wṯ וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח I sent wā·’eš·laḥ מַלְאָכִים֙ messengers mal·’ā·ḵîm דִּבְרֵ֥י with an offer diḇ·rê שָׁל֖וֹם of peace šā·lō·wm
