תֵּחָלֵ֥ק is to be divided tê·ḥā·lêq לָאֵ֗לֶּה among [the tribes] lā·’êl·leh בְּנַחֲלָ֖ה as an inheritance , bə·na·ḥă·lāh בְּמִסְפַּ֥ר according to the number bə·mis·par שֵׁמֽוֹת׃ of names . šê·mō·wṯ Numbers 26:54 תַּרְבֶּה֙ Increase tar·beh נַחֲלָת֔וֹ the inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw לָרַ֗ב for a large [tribe] lā·raḇ תַּמְעִ֖יט and decrease tam·‘îṭ נַחֲלָת֑וֹ it na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw וְלַמְעַ֕ט for a small one ; wə·lam·‘aṭ אִ֚ישׁ each [tribe] ’îš יֻתַּ֖ן is to receive yut·tan נַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ its inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw לְפִ֣י according to lə·p̄î פְקֻדָ֔יו the number of those registered . p̄ə·qu·ḏāw Numbers 26:55 אַךְ־ Indeed , ’aḵ- הָאָ֑רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ יֵחָלֵ֖ק must be divided yê·ḥā·lêq אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּגוֹרָ֕ל by lot ; bə·ḡō·w·rāl יִנְחָֽלוּ׃ they shall receive their inheritance yin·ḥā·lū לִשְׁמ֥וֹת according to the names liš·mō·wṯ מַטּוֹת־ of the tribes maṭ·ṭō·wṯ- אֲבֹתָ֖ם of their fathers . ’ă·ḇō·ṯām Numbers 26:56 נַחֲלָת֑וֹ Each inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw תֵּחָלֵ֖ק is to be divided tê·ḥā·lêq עַל־ by ‘al- פִּי֙ . . . pî הַגּוֹרָ֔ל lot hag·gō·w·rāl בֵּ֥ין among bên רַ֖ב the larger raḇ לִמְעָֽט׃ס and smaller tribes . ” lim·‘āṭ Numbers 26:57 וְאֵ֨לֶּה Now these wə·’êl·leh הַלֵּוִי֮ were the Levites hal·lê·wî פְקוּדֵ֣י numbered p̄ə·qū·ḏê לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם֒ by their clans : lə·miš·pə·ḥō·ṯām הַגֵּ֣רְשֻׁנִּ֔י The Gershonite hag·gê·rə·šun·nî מִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ clan miš·pa·ḥaṯ לְגֵרְשׁ֗וֹן from Gershon , lə·ḡê·rə·šō·wn הַקְּהָתִ֑י the Kohathite haq·qə·hā·ṯî מִשְׁפַּ֖חַת clan miš·pa·ḥaṯ לִקְהָ֕ת from Kohath , liq·hāṯ הַמְּרָרִֽי׃ and the Merarite ham·mə·rā·rî מִשְׁפַּ֖חַת clan miš·pa·ḥaṯ לִמְרָרִ֕י from Merari . lim·rā·rî Numbers 26:58 אֵ֣לֶּה׀ These [were] ’êl·leh מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת the families miš·pə·ḥōṯ לֵוִ֗י of the Levites : lê·wî הַלִּבְנִ֜י The Libnite hal·liḇ·nî מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת clan , miš·pa·ḥaṯ הַֽחֶבְרֹנִי֙ the Hebronite ha·ḥeḇ·rō·nî מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת clan , miš·pa·ḥaṯ הַמַּחְלִי֙ the Mahlite ham·maḥ·lî מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת clan , miš·pa·ḥaṯ הַמּוּשִׁ֔י the Mushite ham·mū·šî מִשְׁפַּ֣חַת clan , miš·pa·ḥaṯ הַקָּרְחִ֑י and the Korahite haq·qā·rə·ḥî מִשְׁפַּ֖חַת clan . miš·pa·ḥaṯ וּקְהָ֖ת Now Kohath ū·qə·hāṯ הוֹלִ֥ד was the father of hō·w·liḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמְרָֽם׃ Amram , ‘am·rām Numbers 26:59 עַמְרָ֗ם and Amram’s ‘am·rām אֵ֣שֶׁת wife ’ê·šeṯ וְשֵׁ֣ם׀ was named wə·šêm יוֹכֶ֙בֶד֙ Jochebed . yō·w·ḵe·ḇeḏ בַּת־ She was also a daughter baṯ- לֵוִ֔י of Levi , lê·wî אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer יָלְדָ֥ה born yā·lə·ḏāh אֹתָ֛הּ - ’ō·ṯāh לְלֵוִ֖י to Levi lə·lê·wî בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם in Egypt . bə·miṣ·rā·yim לְעַמְרָ֗ם To Amram lə·‘am·rām וַתֵּ֣לֶד she bore wat·tê·leḏ אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- אַהֲרֹן֙ Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses , mō·šeh וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ אֲחֹתָֽם׃ and their sister ’ă·ḥō·ṯām
