אֲבֹתָ֔ם of their fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯām בְּמַעֲלָ֖ם in the unfaithfulness bə·ma·‘ă·lām אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer מָֽעֲלוּ־ they practiced mā·‘ă·lū- בִ֑י against Me , ḇî אֲשֶׁר־ by which ’ă·šer- וְאַ֕ף vvv wə·’ap̄ הָֽלְכ֥וּ they have also walked hā·lə·ḵū בְּקֶֽרִי׃ in hostility bə·qe·rî עִמִּ֖י toward Me — ‘im·mî Leviticus 26:41 אַף־ and ’ap̄- אֲנִ֗י I ’ă·nî אֵלֵ֤ךְ acted ’ê·lêḵ בְּקֶ֔רִי with hostility bə·qe·rî עִמָּם֙ toward them ‘im·mām וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י and brought wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî אֹתָ֔ם them ’ō·ṯām בְּאֶ֖רֶץ into the land bə·’e·reṣ אֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם of their enemies — ’ō·yə·ḇê·hem אוֹ־ and ’ōw- אָ֣ז . . . ’āz הֶֽעָרֵ֔ל if their uncircumcised he·‘ā·rêl וְאָ֖ז . . . wə·’āz לְבָבָם֙ hearts lə·ḇā·ḇām יִכָּנַ֗ע will be humbled yik·kā·na‘ יִרְצ֥וּ and they will make amends yir·ṣū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֲוֺנָֽם׃ for their iniquity , ‘ă·wō·nām Leviticus 26:42 וְזָכַרְתִּ֖י then I will remember wə·zā·ḵar·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִ֣י My covenant bə·rî·ṯî יַעֲק֑וֹב with Jacob ya·‘ă·qō·wḇ וְאַף֩ and wə·’ap̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶזְכֹּ֖ר - ’ez·kōr בְּרִיתִ֨י My covenant bə·rî·ṯî יִצְחָ֜ק with Isaac yiṣ·ḥāq וְאַ֨ף . . . wə·’ap̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִ֧י and My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אַבְרָהָ֛ם with Abraham , ’aḇ·rā·hām אֶזְכֹּֽר׃ and I will remember ’ez·kōr וְהָאָ֥רֶץ the land . wə·hā·’ā·reṣ Leviticus 26:43 וְהָאָרֶץ֩ For the land wə·hā·’ā·reṣ תֵּעָזֵ֨ב will be abandoned tê·‘ā·zêḇ מֵהֶ֜ם by them , mê·hem וְתִ֣רֶץ and it will enjoy wə·ṯi·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ its Sabbaths šab·bə·ṯō·ṯe·hā בָּהְשַׁמָּה֙ by lying desolate bā·hə·šam·māh מֵהֶ֔ם without them . mê·hem וְהֵ֖ם And they wə·hêm יִרְצ֣וּ will pay the penalty yir·ṣū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֲוֺנָ֑ם for their iniquity , ‘ă·wō·nām יַ֣עַן because ya·‘an וּבְיַ֔עַן . . . ū·ḇə·ya·‘an מָאָ֔סוּ they rejected mā·’ā·sū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֣י My ordinances bə·miš·pā·ṭay גָּעֲלָ֥ה and abhorred gā·‘ă·lāh נַפְשָֽׁם׃ . . . nap̄·šām חֻקֹּתַ֖י My statutes . ḥuq·qō·ṯay Leviticus 26:44 וְאַף־ Yet wə·’ap̄- גַּם־ in spite of gam- זֹ֠את this , zōṯ בִּֽהְיוֹתָ֞ם when they are bih·yō·w·ṯām בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֗ם of their enemies , ’ō·yə·ḇê·hem לֹֽא־ I will not lō- מְאַסְתִּ֤ים reject mə·’as·tîm וְלֹֽא־ or wə·lō- גְעַלְתִּים֙ despise them ḡə·‘al·tîm לְכַלֹּתָ֔ם so as to destroy them lə·ḵal·lō·ṯām לְהָפֵ֥ר and break lə·hā·p̄êr בְּרִיתִ֖י My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אִתָּ֑ם with them ; ’it·tām כִּ֛י for kî אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ their God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Leviticus 26:45 לָהֶ֖ם But for their sake lā·hem וְזָכַרְתִּ֥י I will remember wə·zā·ḵar·tî בְּרִ֣ית the covenant bə·rîṯ רִאשֹׁנִ֑ים with their fathers , ri·šō·nîm
