Leviticus 19:2 דַּבֵּ֞ר “ Speak dab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ the whole kāl- עֲדַ֧ת congregation ‘ă·ḏaṯ בְּנֵי־ . . . bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְאָמַרְתָּ֥ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵהֶ֖ם them : ’ă·lê·hem תִּהְי֑וּ Be tih·yū קְדֹשִׁ֣ים holy qə·ḏō·šîm כִּ֣י because kî אֲנִ֖י I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem קָד֔וֹשׁ am holy . qā·ḏō·wōš Leviticus 19:3 אִ֣ישׁ Each ’îš תִּירָ֔אוּ of you must respect tî·rā·’ū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אִמּ֤וֹ his mother ’im·mōw וְאָבִיו֙ and father , wə·’ā·ḇîw תִּשְׁמֹ֑רוּ and you must keep tiš·mō·rū שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖י My Sabbaths . šab·bə·ṯō·ṯay אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֥ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Leviticus 19:4 אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּפְנוּ֙ turn tip̄·nū אֶל־ to ’el- הָ֣אֱלִילִ֔ים idols hā·’ĕ·lî·lîm תַעֲשׂ֖וּ or make ṯa·‘ă·śū לָכֶ֑ם for yourselves lā·ḵem מַסֵּכָ֔ה molten mas·sê·ḵāh לֹ֥א . . . lō וֵֽאלֹהֵי֙ gods . wê·lō·hê אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֥ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Leviticus 19:5 וְכִ֧י When wə·ḵî תִזְבְּח֛וּ you sacrifice ṯiz·bə·ḥū זֶ֥בַח vvv ze·ḇaḥ שְׁלָמִ֖ים a peace offering šə·lā·mîm לַיהוָ֑ה to YHWH , Yah·weh תִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּ׃ you shall offer it tiz·bā·ḥu·hū לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖ם for your acceptance . lir·ṣō·nə·ḵem Leviticus 19:6 יֵאָכֵ֖ל It shall be eaten yê·’ā·ḵêl בְּי֧וֹם on the day bə·yō·wm זִבְחֲכֶ֛ם you sacrifice it , ziḇ·ḥă·ḵem וּמִֽמָּחֳרָ֑ת or on the next day ; ū·mim·mā·ḥo·rāṯ וְהַנּוֹתָר֙ but what remains wə·han·nō·w·ṯār עַד־ . . . ‘aḏ- הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י on the third haš·šə·lî·šî י֣וֹם day yō·wm בָּאֵ֖שׁ must be burned up bā·’êš יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃ . . . . yiś·śā·rêp̄ Leviticus 19:7 וְאִ֛ם If wə·’im הֵאָכֹ֥ל any of it hê·’ā·ḵōl יֵאָכֵ֖ל is eaten yê·’ā·ḵêl הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י on the third haš·šə·lî·šî בַּיּ֣וֹם day , bay·yō·wm ה֖וּא it hū פִּגּ֥וּל is tainted pig·gūl לֹ֥א and will not lō יֵרָצֶֽה׃ be accepted . yê·rā·ṣeh Leviticus 19:8 וְאֹֽכְלָיו֙ Whoever eats wə·’ō·ḵə·lāw יִשָּׂ֔א it will bear yiś·śā עֲוֺנ֣וֹ his iniquity , ‘ă·wō·nōw כִּֽי־ for kî- אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חִלֵּ֑ל he has profaned ḥil·lêl קֹ֥דֶשׁ what is holy qō·ḏeš יְהוָ֖ה to YHWH . Yah·weh הַהִ֖וא That ha·hi·w הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ person han·ne·p̄eš וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה must be cut off wə·niḵ·rə·ṯāh מֵעַמֶּֽיהָ׃ from his people . mê·‘am·me·hā Leviticus 19:9 וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶם֙ When you reap ū·ḇə·quṣ·rə·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קְצִ֣יר the harvest qə·ṣîr אַרְצְכֶ֔ם of your land , ’ar·ṣə·ḵem
