Leviticus 11:41 וְכָל־ Every wə·ḵāl הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ creature haš·še·reṣ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ that moves haš·šō·rêṣ עַל־ along ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the ground hā·’ā·reṣ שֶׁ֥קֶץ is detestable ; še·qeṣ ה֖וּא it hū לֹ֥א must not lō יֵאָכֵֽל׃ be eaten . yê·’ā·ḵêl Leviticus 11:42 לֹ֥א Do not lō תֹאכְל֖וּם eat ṯō·ḵə·lūm הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ any creature haš·še·reṣ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ that moves haš·šō·rêṣ עַל־ along ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the ground , hā·’ā·reṣ כֹּל֩ whether kōl הוֹלֵ֨ךְ it crawls hō·w·lêḵ עַל־ on ‘al- גָּח֜וֹן its belly gå̄·ḥōn וְכֹ֣ל׀ or wə·ḵōl הוֹלֵ֣ךְ walks hō·w·lêḵ עַל־ on ‘al- אַרְבַּ֗ע four ’ar·ba‘ עַ֚ד or ‘aḏ כָּל־ . . . kāl- מַרְבֵּ֣ה more mar·bêh רַגְלַ֔יִם feet ; raḡ·la·yim לְכָל־ . . . lə·ḵāl כִּי־ for kî- הֵֽם׃ such [creatures] hêm שֶׁ֥קֶץ are detestable . še·qeṣ Leviticus 11:43 אַל־ Do not ’al- תְּשַׁקְּצוּ֙ defile tə·šaq·qə·ṣū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם yourselves nap̄·šō·ṯê·ḵem בְּכָל־ by any bə·ḵāl הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ crawling creature haš·še·reṣ הַשֹּׁרֵ֑ץ . . . ; haš·šō·rêṣ וְלֹ֤א do not wə·lō תִֽטַּמְּאוּ֙ become unclean ṯiṭ·ṭam·mə·’ū בָּהֶ֔ם bā·hem וְנִטְמֵתֶ֖ם or defiled wə·niṭ·mê·ṯem בָּֽם׃ by them . bām Leviticus 11:44 כִּ֣י For kî אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָה֮ am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֒ your God ; ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתֶּם֙ consecrate yourselves, therefore , wə·hiṯ·qad·diš·tem וִהְיִיתֶ֣ם and be wih·yî·ṯem קְדֹשִׁ֔ים holy , qə·ḏō·šîm כִּ֥י because kî אָ֑נִי I ’ā·nî קָד֖וֹשׁ am holy . qā·ḏō·wōš וְלֹ֤א You must not wə·lō תְטַמְּאוּ֙ defile ṯə·ṭam·mə·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם yourselves nap̄·šō·ṯê·ḵem בְּכָל־ by any bə·ḵāl הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ creature haš·še·reṣ הָרֹמֵ֥שׂ that crawls hā·rō·mêś עַל־ along ‘al- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the ground . hā·’ā·reṣ Leviticus 11:45 כִּ֣י׀ For kî אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֗ה am YHWH , Yah·weh הַֽמַּעֲלֶ֤ה who brought you up ham·ma·‘ă·leh אֶתְכֶם֙ - ’eṯ·ḵem מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim לִהְיֹ֥ת so that I would be lih·yōṯ לָכֶ֖ם your lā·ḵem לֵאלֹהִ֑ים God ; lê·lō·hîm וִהְיִיתֶ֣ם therefore be wih·yî·ṯem קְדֹשִׁ֔ים holy , qə·ḏō·šîm כִּ֥י because kî אָֽנִי׃ I ’ā·nî קָד֖וֹשׁ am holy . qā·ḏō·wōš Leviticus 11:46 זֹ֣את This zōṯ תּוֹרַ֤ת is the law tō·w·raṯ הַבְּהֵמָה֙ regarding animals , hab·bə·hê·māh וְהָע֔וֹף birds , wə·hā·‘ō·wp̄ וְכֹל֙ all wə·ḵōl הַֽחַיָּ֔ה living ha·ḥay·yāh
