הֵ֖מָּה They hêm·māh טְמֵאִ֥ים are unclean ṭə·mê·’îm לָכֶֽם׃ס for you . lā·ḵem Leviticus 11:29 וְזֶ֤ה The following wə·zeh בַּשֶּׁ֖רֶץ creatures baš·še·reṣ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ that move haš·šō·rêṣ עַל־ along ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the ground hā·’ā·reṣ הַטָּמֵ֔א are unclean haṭ·ṭā·mê לָכֶם֙ for you : lā·ḵem הַחֹ֥לֶד the mole , ha·ḥō·leḏ וְהָעַכְבָּ֖ר the mouse , wə·hā·‘aḵ·bār לְמִינֵֽהוּ׃ any kind lə·mî·nê·hū וְהַצָּ֥ב of great lizard , wə·haṣ·ṣāḇ Leviticus 11:30 וְהָאֲנָקָ֥ה the gecko , wə·hā·’ă·nā·qāh וְהַכֹּ֖חַ the monitor lizard , wə·hak·kō·aḥ וְהַלְּטָאָ֑ה the common lizard , wə·hal·lə·ṭā·’āh וְהַחֹ֖מֶט the skink , wə·ha·ḥō·meṭ וְהַתִּנְשָֽׁמֶת׃ and the chameleon . wə·hat·tin·šā·meṯ Leviticus 11:31 אֵ֛לֶּה These [animals] ’êl·leh הַטְּמֵאִ֥ים are unclean haṭ·ṭə·mê·’îm לָכֶ֖ם for you lā·ḵem בְּכָל־ among all bə·ḵāl הַשָּׁ֑רֶץ the crawling creatures . haš·šā·reṣ כָּל־ Whoever kāl- הַנֹּגֵ֧עַ touches han·nō·ḡê·a‘ בָּהֶ֛ם them bā·hem בְּמֹתָ֖ם when they are dead bə·mō·ṯām יִטְמָ֥א shall be unclean yiṭ·mā עַד־ until ‘aḏ- הָעָֽרֶב׃ evening . hā·‘ā·reḇ Leviticus 11:32 וְכֹ֣ל When wə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ one of them ’ă·šer- בְּמֹתָ֜ם dies bə·mō·ṯām יִפֹּל־ and falls yip·pōl- עָלָיו֩ on ‘ā·lāw מֵהֶ֨ם׀ something , mê·hem יִטְמָ֗א [that article] becomes unclean ; yiṭ·mā מִכָּל־ any mik·kāl כְּלִי־ article kə·lî- עֵץ֙ of wood , ‘êṣ א֣וֹ . . . ’ōw בֶ֤גֶד clothing , ḇe·ḡeḏ אוֹ־ . . . ’ōw- עוֹר֙ leather , ‘ō·wr א֣וֹ . . . ’ōw שָׂ֔ק sackcloth , śāq כָּל־ or any kāl- כְּלִ֕י implement kə·lî אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יֵעָשֶׂ֥ה used yê·‘ā·śeh מְלָאכָ֖ה for work mə·lā·ḵāh בָּהֶ֑ם bā·hem בַּמַּ֧יִם must be rinsed with water bam·ma·yim יוּבָ֛א . . . yū·ḇā וְטָמֵ֥א and will remain unclean wə·ṭā·mê עַד־ until ‘aḏ- הָעֶ֖רֶב evening ; hā·‘e·reḇ וְטָהֵֽר׃ then it will be clean . wə·ṭā·hêr Leviticus 11:33 מֵהֶ֖ם If any of them mê·hem יִפֹּ֥ל falls yip·pōl אֶל־ into ’el- תּוֹכ֑וֹ . . . tō·w·ḵōw וְכָל־ a wə·ḵāl חֶ֔רֶשׂ clay ḥe·reś אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- כְּלִי־ pot , kə·lî- כֹּ֣ל everything kōl אֲשֶׁ֧ר - ’ă·šer בְּתוֹכ֛וֹ in bə·ṯō·w·ḵōw יִטְמָ֖א it will be unclean ; yiṭ·mā וְאֹת֥וֹ - wə·’ō·ṯōw תִשְׁבֹּֽרוּ׃ you must break [the pot] . ṯiš·bō·rū Leviticus 11:34 מִכָּל־ Any mik·kāl יֵאָכֵ֗ל vvv yê·’ā·ḵêl אֲשֶׁ֨ר vvv ’ă·šer הָאֹ֜כֶל food hā·’ō·ḵel אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יָב֥וֹא coming yā·ḇō·w עָלָ֛יו into contact ‘ā·lāw מַ֖יִם with water [from that pot] ma·yim יִטְמָ֑א will be unclean , yiṭ·mā
