אֲלֵהֶֽם׃ them , ’ă·lê·hem Leviticus 11:2 דַּבְּר֛וּ “ Say dab·bə·rū אֶל־ to ’el- בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl לֵאמֹ֑ר - , lê·mōr זֹ֤את ‘ - zōṯ מִכָּל־ Of all mik·kāl הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה the beasts hab·bə·hê·māh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ of ‘al- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ הַֽחַיָּה֙ [these ones] ha·ḥay·yāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer תֹּאכְל֔וּ you may eat : tō·ḵə·lū Leviticus 11:3 תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ You may eat tō·ḵê·lū כֹּ֣ל׀ any kōl בַּבְּהֵמָ֑ה animal bab·bə·hê·māh אֹתָ֖הּ - ’ō·ṯāh שֶׁ֙סַע֙ [that has] a split še·sa‘ פְּרָסֹ֔ת . . . pə·rā·sōṯ מַפְרֶ֣סֶת - map̄·re·seṯ פַּרְסָ֗ה hoof par·sāh וְשֹׁסַ֤עַת completely divided wə·šō·sa·‘aṯ מַעֲלַ֥ת and that chews ma·‘ă·laṯ גֵּרָ֖ה the cud . gê·rāh Leviticus 11:4 אַ֤ךְ But ’aḵ אֶת־ of those ’eṯ- מִֽמַּעֲלֵי֙ that [only] chew mim·ma·‘ă·lê הַגֵּרָ֔ה the cud hag·gê·rāh וּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֖י or [only] have a divided ū·mim·map̄·rî·sê הַפַּרְסָ֑ה hoof , hap·par·sāh אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- לֹ֣א you are not lō תֹֽאכְל֔וּ to eat ṯō·ḵə·lū זֶה֙ the following : zeh הַ֠גָּמָל The camel , hag·gā·māl כִּֽי־ though kî- ה֗וּא it hū מַעֲלֵ֨ה chews ma·‘ă·lêh גֵרָ֜ה the cud , ḡê·rāh אֵינֶ֣נּוּ does not ’ê·nen·nū מַפְרִ֔יס have a divided map̄·rîs וּפַרְסָה֙ hoof ; ū·p̄ar·sāh ה֖וּא it hū טָמֵ֥א is unclean ṭā·mê לָכֶֽם׃ for you . lā·ḵem Leviticus 11:5 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַשָּׁפָ֗ן The rock badger , haš·šā·p̄ān כִּֽי־ though kî- ה֔וּא it hū מַעֲלֵ֤ה chews ma·‘ă·lêh גֵרָה֙ the cud , ḡê·rāh לֹ֣א does not lō יַפְרִ֑יס have a divided yap̄·rîs וּפַרְסָ֖ה hoof ; ū·p̄ar·sāh ה֖וּא it hū טָמֵ֥א is unclean ṭā·mê לָכֶֽם׃ for you . lā·ḵem Leviticus 11:6 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָאַרְנֶ֗בֶת The rabbit , hā·’ar·ne·ḇeṯ כִּֽי־ though kî- הִ֔וא it hî מַעֲלַ֤ת chews ma·‘ă·laṯ גֵּרָה֙ the cud , gê·rāh לֹ֣א does not lō הִפְרִ֑יסָה have a divided hip̄·rî·sāh וּפַרְסָ֖ה hoof ; ū·p̄ar·sāh הִ֖וא it hî טְמֵאָ֥ה is unclean ṭə·mê·’āh לָכֶֽם׃ for you . lā·ḵem Leviticus 11:7 וְאֶת־ And wə·’eṯ- הַ֠חֲזִיר the pig , ha·ḥă·zîr כִּֽי־ though kî- ה֗וּא it [has] hū שֶׁ֙סַע֙ a split še·sa‘ פַּרְסָ֜ה hoof par·sāh מַפְרִ֨יס completely divided map̄·rîs וְשֹׁסַ֥ע . . . wə·šō·sa‘ פַּרְסָ֔ה - , par·sāh וְה֖וּא - wə·hū לֹֽא־ does not lō-
