Genesis 11:28 עַל־ During ‘al- פְּנֵ֖י . . . pə·nê אָבִ֑יו his father ’ā·ḇîw תֶּ֣רַח Terah’s lifetime , te·raḥ הָרָ֔ן Haran hā·rān וַיָּ֣מָת died way·yā·māṯ מוֹלַדְתּ֖וֹ in his native mō·w·laḏ·tōw בְּאֶ֥רֶץ land , bə·’e·reṣ בְּא֥וּר in Ur bə·’ūr כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ of the Chaldeans . kaś·dîm Genesis 11:29 אַבְרָ֧ם And Abram ’aḇ·rām וְנָח֛וֹר and Nahor wə·nā·ḥō·wr וַיִּקַּ֨ח took way·yiq·qaḥ נָשִׁ֑ים wives nā·šîm לָהֶ֖ם for themselves . lā·hem אַבְרָם֙ Abram’s ’aḇ·rām אֵֽשֶׁת־ wife ’ê·šeṯ- שֵׁ֤ם was named šêm שָׂרָ֔י Sarai , śā·rāy נָחוֹר֙ and Nahor’s nā·ḥō·wr אֵֽשֶׁת־ wife ’ê·šeṯ- וְשֵׁ֤ם was named wə·šêm מִלְכָּ֔ה Milcah ; mil·kāh בַּת־ she was the daughter baṯ- הָרָ֥ן of Haran , hā·rān אֲבִֽי־ [who was] the father ’ă·ḇî- מִלְכָּ֖ה of both Milcah mil·kāh וַֽאֲבִ֥י . . . wa·’ă·ḇî יִסְכָּֽה׃ and Iscah . yis·kāh Genesis 11:30 שָׂרַ֖י But Sarai śā·ray וַתְּהִ֥י was wat·tə·hî עֲקָרָ֑ה barren ; ‘ă·qā·rāh לָ֖הּ she had lāh אֵ֥ין no ’ên וָלָֽד׃ children . wā·lāḏ Genesis 11:31 תֶּ֜רַח And Terah te·raḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּקַּ֨ח took way·yiq·qaḥ בְּנ֗וֹ his son bə·nōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אַבְרָ֣ם Abram , ’aḇ·rām בֶּן־ his grandson ben- בֶּן־ . . . ben- ל֤וֹט Lot lō·wṭ בְּנ֔וֹ son bə·nōw הָרָן֙ of Haran , hā·rān וְאֵת֙ and wə·’êṯ כַּלָּת֔וֹ his daughter-in-law kal·lā·ṯōw שָׂרַ֣י Sarai śā·ray אֵ֖שֶׁת the wife ’ê·šeṯ בְּנ֑וֹ - bə·nōw אַבְרָ֣ם of Abram , ’aḇ·rām וַיֵּצְא֨וּ and they set out way·yê·ṣə·’ū אִתָּ֜ם . . . ’it·tām מֵא֣וּר from Ur mê·’ūr כַּשְׂדִּ֗ים of the Chaldeans kaś·dîm לָלֶ֙כֶת֙ for lā·le·ḵeṯ אַ֣רְצָה the land ’ar·ṣāh כְּנַ֔עַן of Canaan . kə·na·‘an וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ But when they arrived way·yā·ḇō·’ū עַד־ in ‘aḏ- חָרָ֖ן Haran , ḥā·rān וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּ they settled way·yê·šə·ḇū שָֽׁם׃ there . šām Genesis 11:32 תֶ֔רַח Terah ṯe·raḥ וַיִּהְי֣וּ lived way·yih·yū יְמֵי־ . . . yə·mê- חָמֵ֥שׁ 205 ḥā·mêš וּמָאתַ֣יִם . . . ū·mā·ṯa·yim שָׁנָ֑ה . . . šā·nāh שָׁנִ֖ים years , šā·nîm וַיָּ֥מָת and he died way·yā·māṯ תֶּ֖רַח . . . te·raḥ בְּחָרָֽן׃ס in Haran . bə·ḥā·rān Genesis 12:1 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- אַבְרָ֔ם Abram , ’aḇ·rām לֶךְ־ “ Leave leḵ- לְךָ֛ your lə·ḵā מֵאַרְצְךָ֥ country , mê·’ar·ṣə·ḵā וּמִמּֽוֹלַדְתְּךָ֖ your kindred , ū·mim·mō·w·laḏ·tə·ḵā אָבִ֑יךָ and your father’s ’ā·ḇî·ḵā וּמִבֵּ֣ית household , ū·mib·bêṯ
