אֹתָ֔הּ it ’ō·ṯāh עָשׂ֑וּ - ‘ā·śū כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh כֵּ֣ן . . . kên צִוָּ֥ה had commanded . ṣiw·wāh מֹשֶֽׁה׃פ So Moses mō·šeh וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ blessed way·ḇā·reḵ אֹתָ֖ם them . ’ō·ṯām Exodus 40:1 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Exodus 40:2 בְּאֶחָ֣ד “ On the first bə·’e·ḥāḏ לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ . . . la·ḥō·ḏeš בְּיוֹם־ day bə·yō·wm- הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן of the first hā·ri·šō·wn הַחֹ֥דֶשׁ month ha·ḥō·ḏeš תָּקִ֕ים you are to set up tā·qîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִשְׁכַּ֖ן the tabernacle , miš·kan אֹ֥הֶל the Tent ’ō·hel מוֹעֵֽד׃ of Meeting . mō·w·‘êḏ Exodus 40:3 וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ Put wə·śam·tā אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָעֵד֑וּת of the Testimony hā·‘ê·ḏūṯ שָׁ֔ם in it šām אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ וְסַכֹּתָ֥ and screen wə·sak·kō·ṯā עַל־ off ‘al- הָאָרֹ֖ן the ark hā·’ā·rōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃ with the veil . hap·pā·rō·ḵeṯ Exodus 40:4 וְהֵבֵאתָ֙ Then bring in wə·hê·ḇê·ṯā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן the table haš·šul·ḥān וְעָרַכְתָּ֖ and set out wə·‘ā·raḵ·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֶרְכּ֑וֹ its arrangement ; ‘er·kōw וְהֵבֵאתָ֙ bring in wə·hê·ḇê·ṯā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמְּנֹרָ֔ה the lampstand {as well} , ham·mə·nō·rāh וְהַעֲלֵיתָ֖ and set up wə·ha·‘ă·lê·ṯā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נֵרֹתֶֽיהָ׃ its lamps . nê·rō·ṯe·hā Exodus 40:5 וְנָתַתָּ֞ה Place wə·nā·ṯat·tāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזָּהָב֙ the gold haz·zā·hāḇ מִזְבַּ֤ח altar miz·baḥ לִקְטֹ֔רֶת of incense liq·ṭō·reṯ לִפְנֵ֖י in front lip̄·nê אֲר֣וֹן of the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָעֵדֻ֑ת of the Testimony , hā·‘ê·ḏuṯ וְשַׂמְתָּ֛ and hang wə·śam·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מָסַ֥ךְ the curtain mā·saḵ הַפֶּ֖תַח at the entrance hap·pe·ṯaḥ לַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ to the tabernacle . lam·miš·kān Exodus 40:6 וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ה Place wə·nā·ṯat·tāh אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ מִזְבַּ֣ח the altar miz·baḥ הָעֹלָ֑ה of burnt offering hā·‘ō·lāh לִפְנֵ֕י in front lip̄·nê פֶּ֖תַח of the entrance pe·ṯaḥ מִשְׁכַּ֥ן to the tabernacle , miš·kan אֹֽהֶל־ the Tent ’ō·hel- מוֹעֵֽד׃ of Meeting . mō·w·‘êḏ Exodus 40:7 וְנָֽתַתָּ֙ And place wə·nā·ṯa·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַכִּיֹּ֔ר the basin hak·kî·yōr בֵּֽין־ between bên- אֹ֥הֶל the Tent ’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֖ד of Meeting mō·w·‘êḏ וּבֵ֣ין . . . ū·ḇên הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ and the altar , ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְנָתַתָּ֥ and put wə·nā·ṯa·tā שָׁ֖ם . . . šām מָֽיִם׃ water in it . mā·yim
