וַיָּשִׂ֕ימוּ and attached them way·yā·śî·mū עַל־ to ‘al- שְׁנֵ֖י the other two šə·nê קְצ֣וֹת corners qə·ṣō·wṯ הַחֹ֑שֶׁן of the breastpiece , ha·ḥō·šen עַל־ on ‘al- עֵ֥בֶר . . . ‘ê·ḇer בָּֽיְתָה׃ the inside bā·yə·ṯāh שְׂפָת֕וֹ edge śə·p̄ā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁ֛ר - ’ă·šer אֶל־ next to ’el- הָאֵפֹ֖ד the ephod . hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ Exodus 39:20 וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֮ They made way·ya·‘ă·śū שְׁתֵּ֣י two [additional] šə·tê זָהָב֒ gold zā·hāḇ טַבְּעֹ֣ת rings ṭab·bə·‘ōṯ וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֡ם and attached them way·yit·tə·num עַל־ to ‘al- מִלְמַ֙טָּה֙ the bottom mil·maṭ·ṭāh שְׁתֵּי֩ of the two šə·tê כִתְפֹ֨ת shoulder pieces ḵiṯ·p̄ōṯ הָאֵפֹ֤ד of the ephod , hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ מִמּ֣וּל on its front mim·mūl פָּנָ֔יו . . . , pā·nāw לְעֻמַּ֖ת near lə·‘um·maṯ מֶחְבַּרְתּ֑וֹ the seam meḥ·bar·tōw מִמַּ֕עַל just above mim·ma·‘al לְחֵ֖שֶׁב its woven waistband lə·ḥê·šeḇ הָאֵפֹֽד׃ . . . . hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ Exodus 39:21 וַיִּרְכְּס֣וּ Then they tied way·yir·kə·sū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִטַּבְּעֹתָיו֩ the rings miṭ·ṭab·bə·‘ō·ṯāw הַחֹ֡שֶׁן of the breastpiece ha·ḥō·šen אֶל־ to ’el- טַבְּעֹ֨ת the rings ṭab·bə·‘ōṯ הָאֵפֹ֜ד of the ephod hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ בִּפְתִ֣יל with a cord bip̄·ṯîl תְּכֵ֗לֶת of blue yarn , tə·ḵê·leṯ הַחֹ֔שֶׁן so that the breastpiece ha·ḥō·šen לִֽהְיֹת֙ was lih·yōṯ עַל־ above ‘al- חֵ֣שֶׁב the waistband ḥê·šeḇ הָאֵפֹ֔ד of the ephod hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ וְלֹֽא־ and would not wə·lō- יִזַּ֣ח swing out yiz·zaḥ מֵעַ֖ל from mê·‘al הָאֵפֹ֑ד the ephod , hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֥ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Moses . mō·šeh Exodus 39:22 וַיַּ֛עַשׂ They made way·ya·‘aś אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מְעִ֥יל the robe mə·‘îl הָאֵפֹ֖ד of the ephod hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ כְּלִ֖יל entirely kə·lîl תְּכֵֽלֶת׃ of blue cloth , tə·ḵê·leṯ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה the work ma·‘ă·śêh אֹרֵ֑ג of a weaver , ’ō·rêḡ Exodus 39:23 וּפִֽי־ with an opening ū·p̄î- בְּתוֹכ֖וֹ in the center bə·ṯō·w·ḵōw הַמְּעִ֥יל of the robe ham·mə·‘îl כְּפִ֣י like that kə·p̄î תַחְרָ֑א of a garment , ṯaḥ·rā שָׂפָ֥ה with a collar śā·p̄āh סָבִ֖יב around sā·ḇîḇ לְפִ֛יו the opening lə·p̄îw לֹ֥א so that it would not lō יִקָּרֵֽעַ׃ tear . yiq·qā·rê·a‘ Exodus 39:24 וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙ They made way·ya·‘ă·śū רִמּוֹנֵ֕י pomegranates rim·mō·w·nê תְּכֵ֥לֶת of blue , tə·ḵê·leṯ וְאַרְגָּמָ֖ן purple , wə·’ar·gā·mān וְתוֹלַ֣עַת and scarlet yarn wə·ṯō·w·la·‘aṯ שָׁנִ֑י . . . šā·nî מָשְׁזָֽר׃ and finely spun linen mā·šə·zār עַל־ on ‘al- שׁוּלֵ֣י the lower hem šū·lê הַמְּעִ֔יל of the robe . ham·mə·‘îl Exodus 39:25 וַיַּעֲשׂ֥וּ They also made way·ya·‘ă·śū פַעֲמֹנֵ֖י bells p̄a·‘ă·mō·nê
