מִקִּֽיר׃ from Kir ? miq·qîr Amos 9:8 הִנֵּ֞ה Surely hin·nêh עֵינֵ֣י׀ the eyes ‘ê·nê אֲדֹנָ֣י of the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh הַֽחַטָּאָ֔ה are on the sinful ha·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’āh בַּמַּמְלָכָה֙ kingdom , bam·mam·lā·ḵāh וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֣י and I will destroy wə·hiš·maḏ·tî אֹתָ֔הּ it ’ō·ṯāh מֵעַ֖ל from mê·‘al פְּנֵ֣י the face pə·nê הָאֲדָמָ֑ה of the earth hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֶ֗פֶס . ’e·p̄es כִּ֠י Yet kî לֹ֣א I will not lō הַשְׁמֵ֥יד utterly haš·mêḏ אַשְׁמִ֛יד destroy ’aš·mîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יַעֲקֹ֖ב of Jacob , ” ya·‘ă·qōḇ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Amos 9:9 כִּֽי־ “ For kî- הִנֵּ֤ה surely hin·nêh אָֽנֹכִי֙ I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְצַוֶּ֔ה will give the command , mə·ṣaw·weh וַהֲנִע֥וֹתִי and I will shake wa·hă·ni·‘ō·w·ṯî בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl בְכָֽל־ among all ḇə·ḵāl- הַגּוֹיִ֖ם the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר as ka·’ă·šer יִנּ֙וֹעַ֙ [grain] is sifted yin·nō·w·a‘ בַּכְּבָרָ֔ה in a sieve ; bak·kə·ḇā·rāh וְלֹֽא־ but not wə·lō- צְר֖וֹר a pebble ṣə·rō·wr יִפּ֥וֹל will reach yip·pō·wl אָֽרֶץ׃ the ground . ’ā·reṣ Amos 9:10 כֹּ֖ל All kōl חַטָּאֵ֣י the sinners ḥaṭ·ṭā·’ê עַמִּ֑י among My people ‘am·mî יָמ֔וּתוּ will die yā·mū·ṯū בַּחֶ֣רֶב by the sword — ba·ḥe·reḇ הָאֹמְרִ֗ים all those who say , hā·’ō·mə·rîm הָרָעָֽה׃ ‘ Disaster hā·rā·‘āh לֹֽא־ will never lō- תַגִּ֧ישׁ draw near ṯag·gîš וְתַקְדִּ֛ים or confront wə·ṯaq·dîm בַּעֲדֵ֖ינוּ us . ’” ba·‘ă·ḏê·nū Amos 9:11 הַה֔וּא “ In that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm אָקִ֛ים I will restore ’ā·qîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנֹּפֶ֑לֶת the fallen han·nō·p̄e·leṯ סֻכַּ֥ת tent suk·kaṯ דָּוִ֖יד of David . dā·wîḏ וְגָדַרְתִּ֣י I will repair wə·ḡā·ḏar·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פִּרְצֵיהֶ֗ן its gaps , pir·ṣê·hen אָקִ֔ים restore ’ā·qîm וַהֲרִֽסֹתָיו֙ its ruins , wa·hă·ri·sō·ṯāw וּבְנִיתִ֖יהָ and rebuild ū·ḇə·nî·ṯî·hā כִּימֵ֥י it as in the days kî·mê עוֹלָֽם׃ of old , ‘ō·w·lām Amos 9:12 לְמַ֨עַן that lə·ma·‘an יִֽירְשׁ֜וּ they may possess yî·rə·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁאֵרִ֤ית the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ אֱדוֹם֙ of Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הַגּוֹיִ֔ם the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- נִקְרָ֥א bear niq·rā שְׁמִ֖י My name , ” šə·mî עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם . . . ‘ă·lê·hem נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh עֹ֥שֶׂה who will do ‘ō·śeh זֹּֽאת׃פ this . zōṯ Amos 9:13 הִנֵּ֨ה “ Behold , hin·nêh יָמִ֤ים the days yā·mîm
