חַבְרָתַֽהּ׃ the others , ḥaḇ·rā·ṯah דִכֵּ֜ן - ḏik·kên וְעַיְנִ֣ין with eyes wə·‘ay·nîn לַ֗הּ and with lah וְפֻם֙ a mouth wə·p̄um מְמַלִּ֣ל that spoke mə·mal·lil רַבְרְבָ֔ן words of arrogance raḇ·rə·ḇān רַ֥ב - . raḇ Daniel 7:21 הֲוֵ֔ית As I hă·wêṯ חָזֵ֣ה watched , ḥā·zêh דִכֵּ֔ן this ḏik·kên וְקַרְנָ֣א horn wə·qar·nā עָבְדָ֥ה was waging ‘ā·ḇə·ḏāh קְרָ֖ב war qə·rāḇ עִם־ against ‘im- קַדִּישִׁ֑ין the saints qad·dî·šîn וְיָכְלָ֖ה and prevailing wə·yā·ḵə·lāh לְהֽוֹן׃ against them , lə·hō·wn Daniel 7:22 עַ֣ד until ‘aḏ דִּֽי־ . . . dî- עַתִּיק֙ the Ancient ‘at·tîq יֽוֹמַיָּ֔א of Days yō·w·may·yā אֲתָ֗ה arrived ’ă·ṯāh יְהִ֔ב and pronounced yə·hiḇ וְדִינָ֣א judgment wə·ḏî·nā לְקַדִּישֵׁ֖י in favor of the saints lə·qad·dî·šê עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין of the Most High , ‘el·yō·w·nîn וְזִמְנָ֣א and the time wə·zim·nā מְטָ֔ה came mə·ṭāh קַדִּישִֽׁין׃ for [them] qad·dî·šîn הֶחֱסִ֥נוּ to possess he·ḥĕ·si·nū וּמַלְכוּתָ֖א the kingdom . ū·mal·ḵū·ṯā Daniel 7:23 כֵּן֮ This is what kên אֲמַר֒ he said : ’ă·mar רְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔א ‘ The fourth rə·ḇî·‘ā·yə·ṯā חֵֽיוְתָא֙ beast is ḥê·wə·ṯā רְבִיעָיָא a fourth rə·ḇī·ʿå̄·yå̄ מַלְכ֤וּ kingdom mal·ḵū תֶּהֱוֵ֣א that will appear te·hĕ·wê בְאַרְעָ֔א on the earth , ḇə·’ar·‘ā דִּ֥י . . . dî תִשְׁנֵ֖א different ṯiš·nê מִן־ from min- כָּל־ all kāl- מַלְכְוָתָ֑א the other kingdoms , mal·ḵə·wā·ṯā וְתֵאכֻל֙ and it will devour wə·ṯê·ḵul כָּל־ the whole kāl- אַרְעָ֔א earth , ’ar·‘ā וּתְדוּשִׁנַּ֖הּ trample it down , ū·ṯə·ḏū·šin·nah וְתַדְּקִנַּֽהּ׃ and crush it . wə·ṯad·də·qin·nah Daniel 7:24 עֲשַׂ֔ר And the ten ‘ă·śar וְקַרְנַיָּ֣א horns wə·qar·nay·yā עַשְׂרָ֥ה [are] ten ‘aś·rāh מַלְכִ֖ין kings mal·ḵîn יְקֻמ֑וּן who will rise yə·qu·mūn מִנַּהּ֙ from min·nah מַלְכוּתָ֔ה this kingdom . mal·ḵū·ṯāh אַחֲרֵיה֗וֹן After them ’a·ḥă·rê·hō·wn וְאָחֳרָ֞ן another [king] , wə·’ā·ḥo·rān יִשְׁנֵא֙ different yiš·nê מִן־ from min- קַדְמָיֵ֔א the earlier [ones] , qaḏ·mā·yê יְק֣וּם will rise yə·qūm וְה֤וּא - wə·hū יְהַשְׁפִּֽל׃ and subdue yə·haš·pil וּתְלָתָ֥ה three ū·ṯə·lā·ṯāh מַלְכִ֖ין kings . mal·ḵîn Daniel 7:25 יְמַלִּ֔ל He will speak out yə·mal·lil וּמִלִּ֗ין . . . ū·mil·lîn לְצַ֤ד against lə·ṣaḏ עִלָּיָא the Most High ʿil·lå̄·yå̄ יְבַלֵּ֑א and oppress yə·ḇal·lê וּלְקַדִּישֵׁ֥י the saints ū·lə·qad·dî·šê עֶלְיוֹנִ֖ין of the Most High , ‘el·yō·w·nîn וְיִסְבַּ֗ר intending wə·yis·bar לְהַשְׁנָיָה֙ to change lə·haš·nā·yāh זִמְנִ֣ין the appointed times zim·nîn וְדָ֔ת and laws ; wə·ḏāṯ וְיִתְיַהֲב֣וּן and [the saints] will be given wə·yiṯ·ya·hă·ḇūn בִּידֵ֔הּ into his hand bî·ḏêh עַד־ for ‘aḏ- עִדָּ֥ן a time , ‘id·dān וְעִדָּנִ֖ין and times , wə·‘id·dā·nîn וּפְלַ֥ג and half ū·p̄ə·laḡ עִדָּֽן׃ a time . ‘id·dān
