Ezekiel 37:7 וְנִבֵּ֖אתִי So I prophesied wə·nib·bê·ṯî כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer צֻוֵּ֑יתִי I had been commanded . ṣuw·wê·ṯî כְּהִנָּֽבְאִי֙ And as I prophesied , kə·hin·nā·ḇə·’î וַֽיְהִי־ there was way·hî- וְהִנֵּה־ suddenly wə·hin·nêh- ק֤וֹל a noise , qō·wl רַ֔עַשׁ a rattling , ra·‘aš עֲצָמ֔וֹת and the bones ‘ă·ṣā·mō·wṯ וַתִּקְרְב֣וּ came together , wat·tiq·rə·ḇū עֶ֖צֶם bone ‘e·ṣem אֶל־ to ’el- עַצְמֽוֹ׃ bone . ‘aṣ·mōw Ezekiel 37:8 וְרָאִ֜יתִי As I looked on , wə·rā·’î·ṯî גִּדִים֙ tendons gi·ḏîm וְהִנֵּֽה־ appeared wə·hin·nêh- עֲלֵיהֶ֤ם on them , ‘ă·lê·hem וּבָשָׂ֣ר flesh ū·ḇā·śār עָלָ֔ה grew , ‘ā·lāh ע֖וֹר and skin ‘ō·wr מִלְמָ֑עְלָה . . . mil·mā·‘ə·lāh וַיִּקְרַ֧ם covered them ; way·yiq·ram עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם . . . ‘ă·lê·hem אֵ֥ין but there was no ’ên וְר֖וּחַ breath wə·rū·aḥ בָּהֶֽם׃ in them . bā·hem Ezekiel 37:9 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Then He said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֔י to me , ’ê·lay הִנָּבֵ֖א “ Prophesy hin·nā·ḇê אֶל־ to ’el- הָר֑וּחַ the breath ; hā·rū·aḥ הִנָּבֵ֣א prophesy , hin·nā·ḇê בֶן־ son ḇen- אָ֠דָם of man , ’ā·ḏām וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֶל־ . . . ’el- הָר֜וּחַ the breath hā·rū·aḥ כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar בֹּ֣אִי Come bō·’î מֵאַרְבַּ֤ע from the four mê·’ar·ba‘ הָר֔וּחַ winds , hā·rū·aḥ רוּחוֹת֙ O breath , rū·ḥō·wṯ וּפְחִ֛י and breathe ū·p̄ə·ḥî הָאֵ֖לֶּה into these hā·’êl·leh בַּהֲרוּגִ֥ים slain , ba·hă·rū·ḡîm וְיִֽחְיֽוּ׃ so that they may live ! ” wə·yiḥ·yū Ezekiel 37:10 וְהִנַּבֵּ֖אתִי So I prophesied wə·hin·nab·bê·ṯî כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer צִוָּ֑נִי He had commanded me , ṣiw·wā·nî הָר֜וּחַ and the breath hā·rū·aḥ וַתָּבוֹא֩ entered wat·tā·ḇō·w בָהֶ֨ם them , ḇā·hem וַיִּֽחְי֗וּ and they came to life way·yiḥ·yū וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙ and stood way·ya·‘am·ḏū עַל־ on ‘al- רַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם their feet — raḡ·lê·hem גָּד֥וֹל a vast gā·ḏō·wl מְאֹד־ . . . mə·’ōḏ- מְאֹֽד׃ס . . . mə·’ōḏ חַ֖יִל army . ḥa·yil Ezekiel 37:11 וַיֹּאמֶר֮ Then He said way·yō·mer אֵלַי֒ to me , ’ê·lay בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ’ā·ḏām הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הָעֲצָמ֣וֹת bones hā·‘ă·ṣā·mō·wṯ כָּל־ are the whole kāl- בֵּ֥ית house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl הִנֵּ֣ה Look , hin·nêh הֵ֑מָּה they hêm·māh אֹמְרִ֗ים are saying , ’ō·mə·rîm עַצְמוֹתֵ֛ינוּ ‘ Our bones ‘aṣ·mō·w·ṯê·nū יָבְשׁ֧וּ are dried up , yā·ḇə·šū תִקְוָתֵ֖נוּ and our hope ṯiq·wā·ṯê·nū וְאָבְדָ֥ה has perished ; wə·’ā·ḇə·ḏāh נִגְזַ֥רְנוּ we are cut off niḡ·zar·nū לָֽנוּ׃ . ’ lā·nū Ezekiel 37:12 לָכֵן֩ Therefore lā·ḵên
