וְהָאָ֖רֶץ and the land wə·hā·’ā·reṣ תִֽהְיֶ֑ה will become ṯih·yeh שְׁמָמָ֣ה desolate . šə·mā·māh וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם Then you will know wî·ḏa‘·tem כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃פ am YHWH . ’” Yah·weh Ezekiel 12:21 דְבַר־ Again the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 12:22 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām מָֽה־ what māh- הַזֶּה֙ is this haz·zeh לָכֶ֔ם lā·ḵem הַמָּשָׁ֤ל proverb ham·mā·šāl עַל־ [that] you have in ‘al- אַדְמַ֥ת the land ’aḏ·maṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לֵאמֹ֑ר - : lê·mōr הַיָּמִ֔ים ‘ The days hay·yā·mîm יַֽאַרְכוּ֙ go by , ya·’ar·ḵū כָּל־ and every kāl- חָזֽוֹן׃ vision ḥā·zō·wn וְאָבַ֖ד fails ’ ? wə·’ā·ḇaḏ Ezekiel 12:23 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên אֱמֹ֣ר tell ’ĕ·mōr אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם them ’ă·lê·hem כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִה֒ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֮ says : ’ā·mar הִשְׁבַּ֙תִּי֙ ‘ I will put an end hiš·bat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֶּ֔ה to this haz·zeh הַמָּשָׁ֣ל proverb , ham·mā·šāl בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל and in Israel bə·yiś·rā·’êl וְלֹֽא־ they will no longer wə·lō- ע֖וֹד . . . ‘ō·wḏ יִמְשְׁל֥וּ recite yim·šə·lū אֹת֛וֹ it . ’ ’ō·ṯōw כִּ֚י But kî אִם־ . . . ’im- דַּבֵּ֣ר say dab·bêr אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם to them : ’ă·lê·hem הַיָּמִ֔ים ‘ The days hay·yā·mîm קָֽרְבוּ֙ are at hand qā·rə·ḇū כָּל־ when every kāl- חָזֽוֹן׃ vision ḥā·zō·wn וּדְבַ֖ר will be fulfilled . ū·ḏə·ḇar Ezekiel 12:24 כִּ֠י For kî יִֽהְיֶ֥ה there will be yih·yeh לֹ֣א no lō ע֛וֹד more ‘ō·wḏ כָּל־ kāl- שָׁ֖וְא false šāw חֲז֥וֹן visions ḥă·zō·wn חָלָ֑ק or flattering ḥā·lāq וּמִקְסַ֣ם divinations ū·miq·sam בְּת֖וֹךְ within bə·ṯō·wḵ בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 12:25 כִּ֣י׀ because kî אֲנִ֣י I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֲדַבֵּר֙ will speak ’ă·ḏab·bêr אֵת֩ - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר whatever ’ă·šer דָּבָר֙ word dā·ḇār אֲדַבֵּ֤ר I speak , ’ă·ḏab·bêr וְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔ה and it will be fulfilled wə·yê·‘ā·śeh לֹ֥א without lō ע֑וֹד ‘ō·wḏ תִמָּשֵׁ֖ךְ delay . ṯim·mā·šêḵ כִּ֣י For kî בִֽימֵיכֶ֞ם in your days , ḇî·mê·ḵem הַמֶּ֗רִי O rebellious ham·me·rî בֵּ֣ית house , bêṯ אֲדַבֵּ֤ר I will speak ’ă·ḏab·bêr דָּבָר֙ a message dā·ḇār וַעֲשִׂיתִ֔יו and bring it to pass , wa·‘ă·śî·ṯîw נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy
