Ezekiel 12:3 וְאַתָּ֣ה Therefore , wə·’at·tāh בֶן־ son ḇen- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām עֲשֵׂ֤ה pack ‘ă·śêh כְּלֵ֣י your bags kə·lê לְךָ֙ lə·ḵā גוֹלָ֔ה for exile ḡō·w·lāh וּגְלֵ֥ה . . . . ū·ḡə·lêh יוֹמָ֖ם In broad daylight yō·w·mām לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם . . . , lə·‘ê·nê·hem מִמְּקוֹמְךָ֜ set out from your place mim·mə·qō·wm·ḵā וְגָלִ֨יתָ and go wə·ḡā·lî·ṯā אֶל־ to ’el- אַחֵר֙ another ’a·ḥêr מָק֤וֹם - mā·qō·wm לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם as they watch . lə·‘ê·nê·hem אוּלַ֣י Perhaps ’ū·lay יִרְא֔וּ they will understand , yir·’ū כִּ֛י though kî הֵֽמָּה׃ they hêm·māh מְרִ֖י are a rebellious mə·rî בֵּ֥ית house . bêṯ Ezekiel 12:4 וְהוֹצֵאתָ֨ Bring out wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯā כֵלֶ֜יךָ your baggage ḵê·le·ḵā גוֹלָ֛ה for exile ḡō·w·lāh כִּכְלֵ֥י - kiḵ·lê יוֹמָ֖ם by day , yō·w·mām לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם as they watch . lə·‘ê·nê·hem וְאַתָּ֗ה . . . wə·’at·tāh בָעֶ֙רֶב֙ Then in the evening , ḇā·‘e·reḇ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם as they watch , lə·‘ê·nê·hem תֵּצֵ֤א go out tê·ṣê כְּמוֹצָאֵ֖י like those who go kə·mō·w·ṣā·’ê גּוֹלָֽה׃ into exile . gō·w·lāh Ezekiel 12:5 לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם As they watch , lə·‘ê·nê·hem חֲתָר־ dig ḥă·ṯār- לְךָ֣ lə·ḵā בַקִּ֑יר through the wall ḇaq·qîr וְהוֹצֵאתָ֖ and carry [your belongings] wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯā בּֽוֹ׃ out through it . bōw Ezekiel 12:6 לְעֵ֨ינֵיהֶ֜ם And as they watch , lə·‘ê·nê·hem תִּשָּׂא֙ lift tiś·śā עַל־ your bags to ‘al- כָּתֵ֤ף your shoulder kā·ṯêp̄ תוֹצִ֔יא and take them out ṯō·w·ṣî בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה at dusk ; bā·‘ă·lā·ṭāh תְכַסֶּ֔ה cover ṯə·ḵas·seh פָּנֶ֣יךָ your face pā·ne·ḵā וְלֹ֥א so that you cannot wə·lō תִרְאֶ֖ה see ṯir·’eh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֑רֶץ the land . hā·’ā·reṣ כִּֽי־ For kî- נְתַתִּ֖יךָ I have made you nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā מוֹפֵ֥ת a sign mō·w·p̄êṯ לְבֵ֥ית to the house lə·ḇêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . ” yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 12:7 וָאַ֣עַשׂ So I did wā·’a·‘aś כֵּן֮ . . . kên כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer צֻוֵּיתִי֒ I was commanded . ṣuw·wê·ṯî הוֹצֵ֜אתִי I brought out hō·w·ṣê·ṯî כֵּ֠לַי my bags kê·lay גוֹלָה֙ for exile ḡō·w·lāh כִּכְלֵ֤י - kiḵ·lê יוֹמָ֔ם by day , yō·w·mām וּבָעֶ֛רֶב and in the evening ū·ḇā·‘e·reḇ חָתַֽרְתִּי־ I dug ḥā·ṯar·tî- לִ֥י lî בַקִּ֖יר through the wall ḇaq·qîr בְּיָ֑ד by hand . bə·yāḏ הוֹצֵ֛אתִי I took [my belongings] out hō·w·ṣê·ṯî בָּעֲלָטָ֥ה at dusk , bā·‘ă·lā·ṭāh נָשָׂ֖אתִי carrying them nā·śā·ṯî עַל־ on ‘al- כָּתֵ֥ף my shoulder kā·ṯêp̄ לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃פ as they watched . lə·‘ê·nê·hem Ezekiel 12:8 בַּבֹּ֥קֶר And in the morning bab·bō·qer דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֛ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֧י came way·hî אֵלַ֖י to me , ’ê·lay
