Lamentations 3:61 יְהוָ֔ה O YHWH , Yah·weh שָׁמַ֤עְתָּ You have heard šā·ma‘·tā חֶרְפָּתָם֙ their insults , ḥer·pā·ṯām כָּל־ all kāl- מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖ם their plots maḥ·šə·ḇō·ṯām עָלָֽי׃ against me — ‘ā·lāy Lamentations 3:62 שִׂפְתֵ֤י the slander śip̄·ṯê וְהֶגְיוֹנָ֔ם and murmuring wə·heḡ·yō·w·nām קָמַי֙ of my assailants qā·may עָלַ֖י against me ‘ā·lay כָּל־ all kāl- הַיּֽוֹם׃ day long . hay·yō·wm Lamentations 3:63 שִׁבְתָּ֤ם When they sit šiḇ·tām וְקִֽימָתָם֙ and when they rise , wə·qî·mā·ṯām הַבִּ֔יטָה see how hab·bî·ṭāh אֲנִ֖י vvv ’ă·nî מַנְגִּינָתָֽם׃ס they mock me in song . man·gî·nā·ṯām Lamentations 3:64 תָּשִׁ֨יב You will pay them back tā·šîḇ לָהֶ֥ם lā·hem גְּמ֛וּל what they deserve , gə·mūl יְהוָ֖ה O YHWH , Yah·weh כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה according to the work kə·ma·‘ă·śêh יְדֵיהֶֽם׃ of their hands . yə·ḏê·hem Lamentations 3:65 תִּתֵּ֤ן Put tit·tên לָהֶם֙ - lā·hem מְגִנַּת־ a veil of anguish mə·ḡin·naṯ- לֵ֔ב over their hearts ; lêḇ תַּאֲלָֽתְךָ֖ may Your curse be ta·’ă·lā·ṯə·ḵā לָהֶֽם׃ upon them ! lā·hem Lamentations 3:66 תִּרְדֹּ֤ף You will pursue them tir·dōp̄ בְּאַף֙ in anger bə·’ap̄ וְתַשְׁמִידֵ֔ם and exterminate them wə·ṯaš·mî·ḏêm מִתַּ֖חַת from under mit·ta·ḥaṯ שְׁמֵ֥י [Your] heavens , šə·mê יְהוָֽה׃פ O YHWH . Yah·weh Lamentations 4:1 אֵיכָה֙ How ’ê·ḵāh זָהָ֔ב the gold zā·hāḇ יוּעַ֣ם has become tarnished , yū·‘am הַטּ֑וֹב the pure haṭ·ṭō·wḇ הַכֶּ֣תֶם gold hak·ke·ṯem יִשְׁנֶ֖א has become dull ! yiš·ne אַבְנֵי־ The gems ’aḇ·nê- קֹ֔דֶשׁ of the temple qō·ḏeš תִּשְׁתַּפֵּ֙כְנָה֙ lie scattered tiš·tap·pê·ḵə·nāh כָּל־ on every kāl- חוּצֽוֹת׃ס street ḥū·ṣō·wṯ בְּרֹ֖אשׁ corner . bə·rōš Lamentations 4:2 אֵיכָ֤ה How ’ê·ḵāh הַיְקָרִ֔ים the precious hay·qā·rîm בְּנֵ֤י sons bə·nê צִיּוֹן֙ of Zion , ṣî·yō·wn הַמְסֻלָּאִ֖ים once worth their weight ham·sul·lā·’îm בַּפָּ֑ז in pure gold , bap·pāz נֶחְשְׁבוּ֙ are now esteemed neḥ·šə·ḇū לְנִבְלֵי־ as jars lə·niḇ·lê- חֶ֔רֶשׂ of clay , ḥe·reś מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה the work ma·‘ă·śêh יוֹצֵֽר׃ס of a potter’s yō·w·ṣêr יְדֵ֥י hands ! yə·ḏê Lamentations 4:3 גַּם־ Even gam- תַּנִּין jackals tan·nīn חָ֣לְצוּ offer ḥā·lə·ṣū שַׁ֔ד their breasts šaḏ הֵינִ֖יקוּ to nurse hê·nî·qū גּוּרֵיהֶ֑ן their young , gū·rê·hen בַּת־ [but] the daughter baṯ- עַמִּ֣י of my people ‘am·mî לְאַכְזָ֔ר has become cruel , lə·’aḵ·zār כִּי like kī עֵנִים an ostrich ʿē·nīm בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ס in the wilderness . bam·miḏ·bār
