אֶל־ . . . ’el- יַבְטַ֨ח persuade you to trust yaḇ·ṭaḥ אֶתְכֶ֤ם - ’eṯ·ḵem יְהוָ֣ה in YHWH Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֔ר when he says , lê·mōr יְהוָ֑ה ‘ YHWH Yah·weh הַצֵּ֥ל will surely deliver haṣ·ṣêl יַצִּילֵ֖נוּ us ; yaṣ·ṣî·lê·nū הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הָעִ֣יר city hā·‘îr לֹ֤א will not lō תִנָּתֵן֙ be given ṯin·nā·ṯên בְּיַ֖ד into the hand bə·yaḏ מֶ֥לֶךְ of the king me·leḵ אַשּֽׁוּר׃ of Assyria . ’ ’aš·šūr Isaiah 36:16 אַֽל־ Do not ’al- תִּשְׁמְע֖וּ listen tiš·mə·‘ū אֶל־ to ’el- חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּס Hezekiah , ḥiz·qī·yå̄·hūs כִּי֩ for kî כֹ֨ה this is what ḵōh הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ אַשּׁ֗וּר of Assyria ’aš·šūr אָמַ֜ר says : ’ā·mar עֲשֽׂוּ־ Make ‘ă·śū- בְרָכָה֙ peace ḇə·rā·ḵāh אִתִּ֤י with me ’it·tî וּצְא֣וּ and come out ū·ṣə·’ū אֵלַ֔י to me . ’ê·lay אִישׁ־ Then every one of you ’îš- וְאִכְל֤וּ will eat wə·’iḵ·lū גַּפְנוֹ֙ from his own vine gap̄·nōw וְאִ֣ישׁ and wə·’îš תְּאֵנָת֔וֹ his own fig tree , tə·’ê·nā·ṯōw וּשְׁת֖וּ and drink ū·šə·ṯū אִ֥ישׁ . . . ’îš מֵי־ water mê- בוֹרֽוֹ׃ from his own cistern , ḇō·w·rōw Isaiah 36:17 עַד־ until ‘aḏ- בֹּאִ֕י I come bō·’î וְלָקַחְתִּ֥י and take you away wə·lā·qaḥ·tî אֶתְכֶ֖ם - ’eṯ·ḵem אֶל־ to ’el- אֶ֣רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ כְּאַרְצְכֶ֑ם like your own — kə·’ar·ṣə·ḵem אֶ֤רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ דָּגָן֙ of grain dā·ḡān וְתִיר֔וֹשׁ and new wine , wə·ṯî·rō·wōš אֶ֥רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ לֶ֖חֶם of bread le·ḥem וּכְרָמִֽים׃ and vineyards . ū·ḵə·rā·mîm Isaiah 36:18 פֶּן־ Do not let pen- חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū יַסִּ֨ית mislead yas·sîṯ אֶתְכֶ֤ם - ’eṯ·ḵem לֵאמֹ֔ר you when he says , lê·mōr יְהוָ֖ה ‘ YHWH Yah·weh יַצִּילֵ֑נוּ will deliver us . ’ yaṣ·ṣî·lê·nū אֱלֹהֵ֤י Has the god ’ĕ·lō·hê אִ֣ישׁ of any ’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַגּוֹיִם֙ nation hag·gō·w·yim הַהִצִּ֜ילוּ ever delivered ha·hiṣ·ṣî·lū אַרְצ֔וֹ his land ’ar·ṣōw מִיַּ֖ד from the hand mî·yaḏ מֶ֥לֶךְ of the king me·leḵ אַשּֽׁוּר׃ of Assyria ? ’aš·šūr Isaiah 36:19 אַיֵּ֞ה Where ’ay·yêh אֱלֹהֵ֤י are the gods ’ĕ·lō·hê חֲמָת֙ of Hamath ḥă·māṯ וְאַרְפָּ֔ד and Arpad ? wə·’ar·pāḏ אַיֵּ֖ה Where ’ay·yêh אֱלֹהֵ֣י are the gods ’ĕ·lō·hê סְפַרְוָ֑יִם of Sepharvaim ? sə·p̄ar·wā·yim וְכִֽי־ . . . wə·ḵî- הִצִּ֥ילוּ Have they delivered hiṣ·ṣî·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֹׁמְר֖וֹן Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn מִיָּדִֽי׃ from my hand ? mî·yā·ḏî Isaiah 36:20 מִ֗י Who mî בְּכָל־ among all bə·ḵāl אֱלֹהֵ֤י the gods ’ĕ·lō·hê הָאֵ֔לֶּה of these hā·’êl·leh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הָֽאֲרָצוֹת֙ lands hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ
