וָֽאֶהְיֶ֣ה and wā·’eh·yeh שַׁ֭עֲשֻׁעִים His delight ‘ă·šu·‘îm י֤וֹם׀ day yō·wm י֑וֹם [by] day , yō·wm מְשַׂחֶ֖קֶת rejoicing mə·śa·ḥe·qeṯ בְּכָל־ always bə·ḵāl עֵֽת׃ . . . ‘êṯ לְפָנָ֣יו in His presence . lə·p̄ā·nāw Proverbs 8:31 מְ֭שַׂחֶקֶת I was rejoicing mə·śa·ḥe·qeṯ בְּתֵבֵ֣ל in His whole world bə·ṯê·ḇêl אַרְצ֑וֹ . . . , ’ar·ṣōw וְ֝שַׁעֲשֻׁעַ֗י delighting wə·ša·‘ă·šu·‘ay אֶת־ together ’eṯ- בְּנֵ֥י in the sons bə·nê אָדָֽם׃פ of men . ’ā·ḏām Proverbs 8:32 וְעַתָּ֣ה Now therefore , wə·‘at·tāh בָ֭נִים my sons , ḇā·nîm שִׁמְעוּ־ listen šim·‘ū- לִ֑י to me , lî וְ֝אַשְׁרֵ֗י for blessed wə·’aš·rê יִשְׁמֹֽרוּ׃ are those who keep yiš·mō·rū דְּרָכַ֥י my ways . də·rā·ḵay Proverbs 8:33 שִׁמְע֖וּ Listen šim·‘ū מוּסָ֥ר to instruction mū·sār וַחֲכָ֗מוּ and be wise ; wa·ḥă·ḵā·mū וְאַל־ do not wə·’al- תִּפְרָֽעוּ׃ ignore it . tip̄·rā·‘ū Proverbs 8:34 אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי Blessed ’aš·rê אָדָם֮ is the man ’ā·ḏām שֹׁמֵ֪עַֽ֫ who listens šō·mê·a‘ לִ֥י to me , lî לִשְׁקֹ֣ד watching liš·qōḏ י֤וֹם׀ daily yō·wm י֑וֹם . . . yō·wm עַל־ at ‘al- דַּ֭לְתֹתַי my doors , dal·ṯō·ṯay לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר waiting liš·mōr מְזוּזֹ֥ת at the posts mə·zū·zōṯ פְּתָחָֽי׃ of my doorway . pə·ṯā·ḥāy Proverbs 8:35 כִּ֣י For kî מֹ֭צְאִי whoever finds me mō·ṣə·’î מֹצְאֵי finds mō·ṣə·ʾē חַיִּ֑ים life ḥay·yîm וַיָּ֥פֶק and obtains way·yā·p̄eq רָ֝צ֗וֹן the favor rā·ṣō·wn מֵיְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh Proverbs 8:36 וְֽ֭חֹטְאִי But he who fails to find me wə·ḥō·ṭə·’î חֹמֵ֣ס harms ḥō·mês נַפְשׁ֑וֹ himself ; nap̄·šōw כָּל־ all kāl- מְ֝שַׂנְאַ֗י who hate me mə·śan·’ay אָ֣הֲבוּ love ’ā·hă·ḇū מָֽוֶת׃פ death . ” mā·weṯ Proverbs 9:1 חָ֭כְמוֹת Wisdom ḥā·ḵə·mō·wṯ בָּנְתָ֣ה has built bā·nə·ṯāh בֵיתָ֑הּ her house ; ḇê·ṯāh חָצְבָ֖ה she has carved out ḥā·ṣə·ḇāh שִׁבְעָֽה׃ her seven šiḇ·‘āh עַמּוּדֶ֣יהָ pillars . ‘am·mū·ḏe·hā Proverbs 9:2 טָבְחָ֣ה She has prepared ṭā·ḇə·ḥāh טִ֭בְחָהּ her meat ṭiḇ·ḥāh מָסְכָ֣ה [and] mixed mā·sə·ḵāh יֵינָ֑הּ her wine ; yê·nāh אַ֝֗ף she has also ’ap̄ עָֽרְכָ֥ה set ‘ā·rə·ḵāh שֻׁלְחָנָֽהּ׃ her table . šul·ḥā·nāh Proverbs 9:3 שָֽׁלְחָ֣ה She has sent out šā·lə·ḥāh נַעֲרֹתֶ֣יהָ her maidservants ; na·‘ă·rō·ṯe·hā תִקְרָ֑א she calls out ṯiq·rā עַל־ from ‘al- גַּ֝פֵּ֗י vvv gap·pê מְרֹ֣מֵי the heights mə·rō·mê קָֽרֶת׃ of the city . qā·reṯ
