Proverbs 4:25 עֵ֭ינֶיךָ Let your eyes ‘ê·ne·ḵā יַבִּ֑יטוּ look yab·bî·ṭū לְנֹ֣כַח forward ; lə·nō·ḵaḥ וְ֝עַפְעַפֶּ֗יךָ fix your gaze wə·‘ap̄·‘ap·pe·ḵā יַיְשִׁ֥רוּ straight yay·ši·rū נֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃ ahead . neḡ·de·ḵā Proverbs 4:26 פַּ֭לֵּס Make a level pal·lês מַעְגַּ֣ל path ma‘·gal רַגְלֶ֑ךָ for your feet , raḡ·le·ḵā וְֽכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl דְּרָכֶ֥יךָ your ways də·rā·ḵe·ḵā יִכֹּֽנוּ׃ will be sure . yik·kō·nū Proverbs 4:27 אַֽל־ Do not ’al- תֵּט־ swerve têṭ- יָמִ֥ין to the right yā·mîn וּשְׂמֹ֑אול or to the left ; ū·śə·mō·wl הָסֵ֖ר turn hā·sêr רַגְלְךָ֣ your feet {away} raḡ·lə·ḵā מֵרָֽע׃ from evil . mê·rā‘ Proverbs 5:1 בְּ֭נִי My son , bə·nî הַקְשִׁ֑יבָה pay attention haq·šî·ḇāh לְחָכְמָתִ֣י to my wisdom ; lə·ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯî הַט־ incline haṭ- אָזְנֶֽךָ׃ your ear ’ā·zə·ne·ḵā לִ֝תְבוּנָתִ֗י to my insight , liṯ·ḇū·nā·ṯî Proverbs 5:2 לִשְׁמֹ֥ר that you may maintain liš·mōr מְזִמּ֑וֹת discretion mə·zim·mō·wṯ שְׂפָתֶ֥יךָ and your lips śə·p̄ā·ṯe·ḵā יִנְצֹֽרוּ׃ may preserve yin·ṣō·rū וְ֝דַ֗עַת knowledge . wə·ḏa·‘aṯ Proverbs 5:3 כִּ֤י Though kî שִׂפְתֵ֣י the lips śip̄·ṯê זָרָ֑ה of the forbidden woman zā·rāh תִּ֭טֹּפְנָה drip tiṭ·ṭō·p̄ə·nāh נֹ֣פֶת honey nō·p̄eṯ חִכָּֽהּ׃ and her speech ḥik·kāh וְחָלָ֖ק [is] smoother wə·ḥā·lāq מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן than oil , miš·še·men Proverbs 5:4 וְֽ֭אַחֲרִיתָהּ in the end wə·’a·ḥă·rî·ṯāh מָרָ֣ה she is bitter mā·rāh כַֽלַּעֲנָ֑ה as wormwood , ḵal·la·‘ă·nāh חַ֝דָּ֗ה sharp ḥad·dāh פִּיּֽוֹת׃ as a double-edged pî·yō·wṯ כְּחֶ֣רֶב sword . kə·ḥe·reḇ Proverbs 5:5 רַ֭גְלֶיהָ Her feet raḡ·le·hā יֹרְד֣וֹת go down yō·rə·ḏō·wṯ מָ֑וֶת to death ; mā·weṯ צְעָדֶ֥יהָ her steps ṣə·‘ā·ḏe·hā יִתְמֹֽכוּ׃ lead straight to yiṯ·mō·ḵū שְׁ֝א֗וֹל Sheol . ’ō·wl Proverbs 5:6 פֶּן־ She does not pen- תְּפַלֵּ֑ס consider tə·p̄al·lês אֹ֣רַח the path ’ō·raḥ חַ֭יִּים of life ; ḥay·yîm לֹ֣א she does not lō תֵדָֽע׃פ know that ṯê·ḏā‘ מַ֝עְגְּלֹתֶ֗יהָ her ways ma‘·gə·lō·ṯe·hā נָע֥וּ are unstable . nā·‘ū Proverbs 5:7 וְעַתָּ֣ה So now , wə·‘at·tāh בָ֭נִים my sons , ḇā·nîm שִׁמְעוּ־ listen šim·‘ū- לִ֑י to me , lî וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- תָּ֝ס֗וּרוּ turn aside tā·sū·rū מֵאִמְרֵי־ from the words mê·’im·rê- פִֽי׃ of my mouth . p̄î Proverbs 5:8 דַרְכֶּ֑ךָ Keep your path ḏar·ke·ḵā הַרְחֵ֣ק far har·ḥêq מֵעָלֶ֣יהָ from her ; mê·‘ā·le·hā
